I've gone here a few times and been satisfied with my nails so far. The technicians do a good job and my last visit was particularly good. Just a bit pricy for fills.

Ring finger with the dip in it I had to fix by applying pearls and rhinestones.

This was my first visit to this salon. After a long break from nails, I had a full set put on. Reasons for my 3-star rating: First, the nails were sanded in such a way that the majority of them were noticeably crooked. Second, my ring finger nail had a very noticeable dip in it. I fixed this myself by gluing rhinestones on to cover it up. Third, after all of my nails were completely dry and shiny, she pulled out a file and sanded the sides so the were left rough and missing the white polish for the French manicure, and the topcoat. I didn't realize how bad it looked, but you can see in my photos what I'm saying. I have no idea what the purpose of sanding AFTER a complete nail applisay, ion was complete because it made them look horrible. Fourth, the nails have no curvature. They are all flat on top. There was no build up in the middle of the nail bed. Aside of the flatness, the sanding over the acrylic after it was applied was not done evenly and there are obvious waves and different thicknesses throughout. Fifth, there was no handwashing. Upon completion, my hands were dusted off and had a lotion applied, along with what I guess was a massage - I was all of *maybe* 30 seconds per hand. I figured I'd get to wash my hands after this part because it was pretty gross to have the acrylic dust rubbed into my hands, but I was wrong. Instead a hot, damp washcloth was applied and my hands were quickly wiped off. No handwashing and I left feeling extremely unclean. She was also wearing a mask and coughing. I think handwashing should really be mandatory if staff is exhibiting signs of sickness. To ne clear, I've been getting my nails done for well over 20 years, so I don't expect perfection by any means; I do realize that this is art done by hand, but I DO expect the end result to be a nicely done set of nails without so many obvious issues. I paid $75 for this. It has been one full week and they're not lifting, and that's about the only positive thing I have to say, and this is also the reason for giving 3 stars. I REALLY wanted to love this place.

    Middle finger cut.

I will probably be back but I am very upset with my most recent experience. My nails are all uneven and misshapen, and pointing upward. Very rushed and nearly all of my fingers were left cut after the appointment. Update: JUST went in and spoke with Hannah who was very apologetic. I am glad the salon stands behind their work and their customers. I have had good experiences at this salon before and hope to have more in the future!

Gel polish: Tips and edges are pulling away from the nail and getting caught on everything by day 5

I was excited to find this place. They were able to take me as a walk in. Pedicure was excellent, great chairs and friendly staff. However, my gel manicure is the worst I have had. I am on day 8 and huge chunks have chipped away, they went up on the cuticle so the little growth I have had has caused rough edges that get caught on clothing and in my hair. I'm so disappointed! Update: The salon did reached out to say that my nails should not be chipping and I could come in to have them re-done. While I am not able to fit it in to my work schedule, I thought it was great that they were standing by the service to make it right!

Came in this morning and brought a friend who has always gone to a different salon. They've gained two new customers! Not only is it a beautiful salon, they have so many options for designs and colors and are super affordable. And the staff are all extremely welcoming and friendly!!! And my nails look better than I could have pictured!!!!

the best nail salon around! :) everyone is so talented and friendly my new go to place

Pretty nails but left underneath looking like trash .

My gel manicure chipped in a week and one day. The staff was incredibly unprofessional and the entire experience was not relaxing at all.

My friend and I went for mani/pedis for her birthday, and we were excited to try this salon due to its positive Google reviews. However, now, we know they offer $5 vouchers for 5 star Google reviews; this is not only disingenuous, but upsetting. The nail techs tried many times to get us to purchase the more expensive gel polish, despite the fact that we kept declining. Our pedicures were relatively quick, even though we scheduled spa pedicure appointments - I would say they were basic, maybe slightly elevated. We also got basic manicures which felt rushed. My nail tech left some cuts on my cuticles and brushed past them like they weren't there, and I felt as though the establishment as a whole was a bit dirty. To top it off, our two basic mani/pedis + tip cost $225, which felt like an overcharge. As we left, the nail techs even pressured us into paying with Venmo, and then seemed dissatisfied with the tip we left (which was more than generous for the service we received). Definitely will not be back.

My skin is always glowing after an appointment, and unlike other facials I've had my skin feels soothed and areas where I've had extractions aren't red and inflamed. Sarah is super knowledgeable and takes so much time to make sure that she uses the best products for your specific skin type. Not only are the facials effective but they are also relaxing. She starts each facial with essential oils and asks you to take a deep breath- it reminds me to enjoy the time that I am taking for myself and to relax right from the start. The products that she sells and uses are high quality and have safe ingredients. The thing that is truly unique about Mansfield Hollow Skincare is the level of personal service that you receive. As I was trying to prep for my wedding she took the time to check in with me after treatments to see how new products were working. She was available for all of my questions and always made me feel like I could reach out whenever I wasn't sure. About a week before my wedding I had a horrible breakout. In a panic, I got in touch with Sarah and she made suggestions of things to try and then checked in with me daily throughout the week. As the wedding got closer and I was still having trouble with my skin she put together a whole new set of products to get me cleared up in time for the big day. I found out later that she had been away on vacation during multiple texts and phone calls as she helped me. I can't imagine that you would get the personal support that you get from Sarah in figuring out your skincare from anywhere else. I plan on continuing to see her regular even now that my wedding is over. This place is one of a kind!

I have received various facials from her and learned a lot about skincare, skincare products and appropriate application, and self-care overall! As a former social worker, and as someone who is always seeking new knowledge as a skincare provider and healer, Sara is committed to providing for her clients an experience that is both restorative and informative. My most recent facial was last week in her lovely new space! She begins your service with a brief discussion of your skincare concerns (over a cup of tea) and some recommendations for the treatment. I arrived feeling stressed, with dry skin, minor breakouts (at 41 years of age!), and congested pores. I left with hydrated, softer skin, the tension in my neck and shoulders gone (!) from the wonderful massage Sara provided while the therapeutic mask worked on my face. I did also purchase a Rejuvi (brand name) eye gel and facial moisturizer which I am quite pleased with after several days of application. Sara has a range of products available which she has personally researched and tested. She will educate you on the use and application of these products to ensure you get bang for the buck! The price points are quite reasonable. I feel quite fortunate I am able to incorporate Sara's skincare into my budget and schedule, but should be clear to note the quality of her treatments, the products used and the results are superior to more expensive spas in the area, and her approach is more personalized. When I have had a question about a product I purchased from her, or I have not been able to get in to see her, Sara is readily accessible by e-mail or a quick call to offer advice or suggestions for home care that supported my skin health and appearance until I was able to schedule another consultation and treatment. I hope you'll give Mansfield Hollow Skincare a try; I am sure you'll enjoy the respite!
