I came here because I read a lot of good reviews about this salon. I got seated right away on a Saturday which was great. I wanted to get a full set done and wanted to get French ombré for the color. The nail tech didn't know what French ombré was so I showed her a picture but I could tell she never did it before so then I decided I'll just get a regular color. It was the worst full set I ever had done. It was super thick and only lasted a week. After a week the nails at the root were not glued to my real nail and it was painful. I had to go to another salon to get them taken off. Would not recommend this place. read more

Called earlier today and wanted wax mani and pedi. Made an app at 430. Got seated right away for mani and then asked for wax. They all started looking at each other because it was starting to get packed and I knew which lady was going to do the waxing but they told me she wasn't in today. HUH!? When I was getting my nails done the guy told me she was here. Totally lied!!! Then I decided to get my pedi and they told me it was a long wait. What.... I had an appointment?!? My friend and I had to wait 10 minutes after arriving but the wait wasn't bad as we had to decide on the color we wanted. There were tons of colors to choose from! Sue greeted us when we came in and offered us a drink. Nice touch! She took her time even though there were a lot of people that came in after us. I got the no chip mani and my friend got the acrylic no chip mani. Both came out very well! Although Sue painted our nails, another woman (didn't catch her name) cleaned and prepped my nails. She seemed in a rush, which was offset by how patient Sue was. I would definitely recommend Sue to anyone that comes here. I would also recommend setting an appointment even though they accept walk ins as well. I forgot to mention I had the $5 off deal from Yelp when I checked out and paid for both my friend and me. My no chip mani ended up being $30. I thought it would be $25 based on my conversation when I called for my appointment. Perhaps, it's because I had her add glitter on my ring finger. We went in for no chip manicures. I tried to make sure that the instruments being used had been sanitized because she just took them from a drawer. Either no one spoke English or they didn't want to answer me; I like to see the instruments taken out of the sterilizer and package in front of me so I know they are properly cleaned. The girl doing my daughter's nails had her soaking off her nails in acetone for over 20 min before my daughter removed her hand from it herself. Went in last week to get a no chip Mani. The gentleman that did them did a really nice job. They have a huge selection of colors to choose from. The price was 35$. The color has stayed on well except one of my actual nails broke so it is chipped somewhat. I think they should have had the prices up on wall or in a brochure somewhere. This place is fantastic! There are a lot of nail places in my area but this one is in a league of its own. The salon is very clean, modern, and relaxing. The technicians work slowly and carefully. I have seriously ticklish feet which can annoy some people but the gentleman was very nice and tried to reduce the amount of friction so I would be more comfortable. Went in for a polish change and an older lady with a limp, did a very poor job. Will not be returning.

The nail shop is extremely small. When you walk in the front door you are about a few steps from the back. It's very compact and they used every inch of the space. The waiting area is basically nonexistent which consistent or maybe 2-4 chairs and a large check in desk that can be done away with to free up space. My no chip manicure took over an hour and a half to remove because they sat me down and let me soak my hands for that long. I know it doesn't take that long because I've had them removed several times in the pass. When I finally stated that I don't have any more time to waste in the place that's when I was shifted to a nail tech and got service. The tech tried to sell me on everything in the book. After telling her several times what I wanted and nothing more or less she stopped asking. She did a great job on my gel overlay. I can say the best overlay I've had done. However, I'm probably not going to go back due to the significant wait time I had to endure but I got a great gel overlay. I would've given 5 stars but the wait was ridiculous. read more

I have been here twice. The first time with Ken and it was great. The second time I saw Nancy. I want to start out by saying I am not a difficult person, but this appointment sure made me feel like one. I ask for these simple things: natural looking thin acrylics, even length nails, and even shapes on all nails (I like them narrow and squoval). I even bring in pictures to make sure the technician sees what I like. I try to make it as smooth as possible. It was not only the mistakes that were made during this appointment that bothered me but more so the way Nancy acted whenever I pointed out the mistakes I noticed. She did not apologize or act concerned about my satisfaction--she instead would look at/call another co-worker with a look of annoyance. The first oops was her filing one of my nails way too short, and then trying to convince me it wasn't that much of a difference (it was). When she tried fixing it she just dumped a pile of acrylic on the tip of my nail and could not file it correctly, so she had her coworker who was next to her do it. Then, once I had washed my hands I noticed that my nails were much thicker than what I came in with and what I requested. I even made sure to remind her while she was doing my nails that I liked them thin like how they were when I arrived. Again frustrated, she has her manager Sue file them thinner for me. Nancy polished them but then I noticed that my pinky was completely crooked. Again, no apology or concern, just a look at a coworker with a smirk on her face (did she think I was blind?). She had me sit and dry my hands and wait 10-15 minutes for Sue to fix my crooked nail. Sue honestly saved the day, she was very nice and friendly and truly seemed like she wanted me to be happy and satisfied. I was there for about 3 hours and all I came in for was a fill and pedicure. If you're going in for a fill, I do not recommend Nancy. read more

Went here for the first time and got a no chip manicure. Usually a no chip from other salons will last me 1.5-2 weeks before it starts cracking a little bit, separating from the nail and/or just looking old but this one lasted a full three weeks before I took it off. The quality still looked pretty good too and I probably could've kept it on a while longer if my nails hadn't grown so much. I will definitely be back! TIPS: Call ahead and make an appointment. It was super busy when I went (granted, it was a Friday evening) and there were at least 5 walk-ins while I was there. Completely ruined my nails and my friends nails. The powder that they did was stuck to the sides of our finger and physically hurt. Some of my fingers were stuck to to the skin beneath my nail. My friends nails were chuncky and lumpy looking. I had them remove mine and were going to get her redone today. read more

I found myself with exactly one free hour in my day and badly needed a pedicure. I had stopped in at 2 salons further west on Ogden and had been told 20-30 min wait at each salon, which I couldn't do. I had almost given up, but thought I'd try one more time, and found this salon. Very glad that it worked out the way it did, because my pedicure was great! No wait and she did a wonderful job. After applying the color I chose, she recommended putting a different color on top, she said it would be prettier. She was absolutley right and I'm so happy for her recommendation. I left at exactly the time I needed to, and I'm just thrilled I was able to get in and out, and have such pretty toes! The entire staff was very friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere was really nice as well. This salon will be my first stop next time. I won't even bother stopping at the ones closer to my home. They just made my day! read more
