Yomi is…read morehighly recommended, my first appointment the first thing I thought was wow her station is so gross, dirty full of powders prob from the drills they use. It was gross, but I figured maybr she cleans up at the end of her shift, no that's not the case, every other time I went it was always the same disgusting, where her fan would be blowing all that crap on my polish. What's more bothersome is if I could see it, how she didn't and continued polishing. "Everytime" Along with blowing through my nails, rushing so she can move on to the next customer "they work on commission. Finally I gave up and said no more! So instead of finding someone else in that salon, I mean why would I? Clearly the owners don't pay attention to the cleanliness of their salon. It's all about the money ONLY.... However my daughter continued going, she was getting gels done by Yomi, I told her everytime your nails look awful, it's not pretty your gel is way to thick, bumpy, wider than your natural nail bed!!! Just disgusting! And was being charged 80.00 are you F..... kidding me!! For a shit nail job everytime!!! She was getting a pedicure told them what she wanted polish wise, it wasn't what she wanted and they were trying to convince her it was but it wasn't!!!! Did I mention the nail fungus my daughter got on one of her nails!!!! How dare you people!!! Yomi felt I was picky, well when I'm paying my money and tipping you generously your damn right I'm picky!! Along with the workers conspiring against one another to take clients. Shame on everyone there and the owners for allowing and running their business the way they do. Run people, run! Find a better salon. I most certainly did right down the road from them!! Here's a photo of my daughter's last appointment there.... Disgusting

My daughter and I recently visited Rock Star Nail Salon for the first time while we were in the…read moreOcean Township area and decided to treat ourselves to a mother-daughter nail appointment. Unfortunately, what should have been a relaxing experience turned into a very disappointing one. I received a spa pedicure, which cost $59, and upgraded to Dazzle Dry polish because I wanted the convenience of having my nails dry immediately and expected a longer-lasting result. With the upgrade, my total was over $70 before tip. To my surprise, within just two days, every toenail had chipped. I have had countless pedicures over the years, many with regular polish, and I have never experienced a pedicure chipping this quickly. It appeared that a top coat may not have been properly applied, so I called the salon to explain the situation. After being placed on hold, I was told that it is the salon's policy not to perform nail repairs. Let that sink in: after spending over $70 on a pedicure that lasted less than 48 hours, I was essentially being told I would have to pay again to correct the problem. While they ultimately offered to fit me in for a "one-time" repair, they made it very clear that they do not normally stand behind their work in situations like this. What disappointed me most was not just the poor durability of the pedicure, but the customer service and the salon's policy. When a service fails within 48 hours, especially at this price point, a reputable business should take responsibility and make it right without hesitation. Instead, I felt dismissed and inconvenienced. I was genuinely excited to try Rock Star Nail Salon and had hoped to become a repeat customer. Instead, I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and frankly disgusted by the lack of accountability and customer care. For the prices they charge, customers deserve much better quality and service.
