I had SNS powder on my nail prior to arrival. After soaking my nails.. She left some powder residue on my nails . I asked her to remove it bcs it will cause the polish on top to crack prematurely once the residue starts rising (do I have to explain this to a nail tech?) . She said she didn't remove it bcs she didn't want to scrape my nails any further. OK but did I ask you that or did I ask you to remove it? She painted my nails and left a noticeable streak (see picture) then when I tell her about it she gets defensive. Giving an explanation that she needed to get polish on the corner but if she did a new coat it would be too thick. I don't want to hear excuses. Overall it was not a clean set. You can see the pictures and judge yourself. On top Of it all it was so overpriced AND MY NAILS CHIPPED THE NEXT DAY. BEWARe Wait till other salons or open unless you want to waste your money.

Ugh this place is so amazing! I've been here on separate occasions. I'm not a regular customer but…read moreevery time I came to get my nails done, I was never disappointed. FYI - I always came during slow hours because I have more flexibility with my school schedule. Sylvia worked on my nails today and I was so impressed with my nail/hand transformation that I had to leave a review (my nails really were that bad. I'm currently in grad school and I have anxiety and a really bad nail biting habit). I'm a simple girly - I asked for a green chrome inspiration from a Pinterest photo and she showed me the options they had that best resembled the photos. I was offered a pedicure and a massage while sitting in my chair, and even if I declined, Sylvia gave me a short back and hand massage as my gel nails were finishing up. I think I would like to come back for a massage for sure, though. I truly recommend this place in the Bronx! For the service and quality, I'll give them all my money if it means being taken care of like this!

Up until today, I've always had good experiences at this salon. I've been here several times,…read morethough I hadn't visited in a few months. Unfortunately, my usual technician (Andy) no longer works there, so I went with whoever was available. The gentleman who did my gel pedicure was fine overall, although he did insist on a color different from what I requested. The pedicure itself came out okay, so I didn't push the issue. I was then told to wait for someone to be available for my nail set, but the wait was very long, especially considering I had made an appointment. When the nail technician started, she asked if I had a design in mind. I showed her a photo, which she took a picture of, but the final result looked nothing like the reference. My nails were extremely thick and wide. When I politely asked if they could be made thinner, she became visibly annoyed and even laughed, saying no. I asked again for them to be narrower and for the corners to be rounded, and the response was the same--frustration and irritation just for asking. After that, there was also confusion and disagreement over the color, and at that point I realized I wasn't really being heard, so I stopped trying to speak up. When I went to pay, the owner asked how everything was. I explained that I wasn't satisfied, and he immediately sat me down and genuinely tried to fix the situation, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the issues couldn't really be corrected without removing everything and starting over, which wasn't going to happen. In the end, I paid $151.68 for nails I truly dislike. I understand that nail services are expensive, but when there are so many salons to choose from, I'd rather spend my money somewhere I feel listened to and leave feeling confident and happy with the service. This experience was really disappointing, especially because I've had good visits here in the past.

I came in for a same day appointment with Chase on November 7th, wanting a full set with design and…read moregot exactly that! Not only did Chase execute what I showed him to a tee, he also did so in record time since he works with BIAB It's now been 25 days and I have never had a full set last this long without damaging or breaking a whole nail since I am not very gentle with my hands. I was there at noon and the ambience was chill, and not very busy which I enjoyed a lot. *The only reason I'm giving four instead of five stars is because although I was on time for my 12pm sharp slot, he hadn't begun working until almost 1230 so even though be worked very fast, I ended up running behind on time for the day. Other than that I would 10/10 recommend coming here and having your hands quickly blessed with BIAB! Twenty-five days and they still look and feel fresh even with the minor dings! I'll definitely be going back

I hadn't been here in a long time because they left a bad taste in…read moremy mouth but I started coming back because I figured I'd give them another try and now I'm convinced to never come back. They're obviously trying to push people to getting the SNS powder nails which I used to love but stopped getting. I made a few appointments for UV gel manicures and didn't have any complaints for my first visit. The second, however, my nails began chilling within two days which is ridiculous. I was unable to get them fixed which ended up with much of the gel coming off and taking some of my nail layers with it. I returned on Wednesday (3/22) and asked for them to remove the gel and I decided to get a regular manicure to give my nails a break. The first red flag (aside from their UV gel chipping a day after getting it applied...) was that the tech didn't soak off my UV gel. All the other items I've gone to get a soak off and redo my gel manicure, they first filled a bit of the gel off to make it easier to soak off, put acetone-soaked cotton on each of my nails and cover them with foil, and then after some time, they'll remove the rest. This time, the tech legit, tried to file of all of the gel with the electric file. She went over my own nail multiple times and I had to tell her to be careful not to file my nail. The cotton and acetone was left on my nails for literal minutes. Not at all long enough to soak off properly. She put on the nail polish and you could tell that my nail surface was uneven (still is). I just took off the polish today (3/25) to redo it because it looked so shoddy and you can clearly see that there is still base coat gel left on my nails. My actual nail layers were filed unevenly and my cuticles look shite. Hopefully I can look back at this review to remember that some businesses are just not worth a second chance. Never again.
