I came in for a same day appointment with Chase on November 7th, wanting a full set with design and got exactly that! Not only did Chase execute what I showed him to a tee, he also did so in record time since he works with BIAB It's now been 25 days and I have never had a full set last this long without damaging or breaking a whole nail since I am not very gentle with my hands. I was there at noon and the ambience was chill, and not very busy which I enjoyed a lot. *The only reason I'm giving four instead of five stars is because although I was on time for my 12pm sharp slot, he hadn't begun working until almost 1230 so even though be worked very fast, I ended up running behind on time for the day. Other than that I would 10/10 recommend coming here and having your hands quickly blessed with BIAB! Twenty-five days and they still look and feel fresh even with the minor dings! I'll definitely be going back read more

If I could give zero, I would. I hadn't been here in a long time because they left a bad taste in my mouth but I started coming back because I figured I'd give them another try and now I'm convinced to never come back. They're obviously trying to push people to getting the SNS powder nails which I used to love but stopped getting. I made a few appointments for UV gel manicures and didn't have any complaints for my first visit. The second, however, my nails began chilling within two days which is ridiculous. I was unable to get them fixed which ended up with much of the gel coming off and taking some of my nail layers with it. I returned on Wednesday (3/22) and asked for them to remove the gel and I decided to get a regular manicure to give my nails a break. The first red flag (aside from their UV gel chipping a day after getting it applied...) was that the tech didn't soak off my UV gel. All the other items I've gone to get a soak off and redo my gel manicure, they first filled a bit of the gel off to make it easier to soak off, put acetone-soaked cotton on each of my nails and cover them with foil, and then after some time, they'll remove the rest. This time, the tech legit, tried to file of all of the gel with the electric file. She went over my own nail multiple times and I had to tell her to be careful not to file my nail. The cotton and acetone was left on my nails for literal minutes. Not at all long enough to soak off properly. She put on the nail polish and you could tell that my nail surface was uneven (still is). I just took off the polish today (3/25) to redo it because it looked so shoddy and you can clearly see that there is still base coat gel left on my nails. My actual nail layers were filed unevenly and my cuticles look shite. Hopefully I can look back at this review to remember that some businesses are just not worth a second chance. Never again. read more

The pedicures are cheap at $17.00 no frills. They do a decent job, depending on who does your nails. But, their nail services are awful. i overpaid twice for an acrylic fill. the guy dipped my nail in powder and my nails chipped in a week. Paid $65 and $50 for a weak fill. They only do SNS or Gel manicure. If you don't or can't do acrylic fill, then don't take the appointment. read more

This is my favorite nail salon in the Bronx. I make it a point to go every time I visit New York. I make it even more special by taking my mom and making it a mom-daughter date. The place is clean, the prices are reasonable and the service is great. The pedicures are done on massage chairs so you are nice and comfortable while you get your feet done. They also give you a mini back massage while you are drying your nails at the end of your services. Don't be surprised if you see the owner going around giving out hand lotions to everyone. My mom has a collection of them lol They have a loyalty program so make sure to ask about it if you see yourself returning many times. Enjoy!! read more

I came in requesting a soak off and a new set because my previous salon messed up pretty bad . From the beginning the owner was very inviting and willing to help fix my nails . even with it being late Friday afternoon my technician Jenny did an amazing and thorough job . the vibe of this salon is very relaxing very clean and extra friendly .overall one of my best experiences so far in a salon in my neighborhood. the massage was also great and will be returning for all my beauty needs in the near future read more

Unfortunately I have to say that I doubt I will continue coming here. I went the other day to do my regular reflexology/pedicure and I found out that one of my favorite, Aida, will not be there anymore. I decided to try another lady, but unfortunately I didn't like it!!!!! She was talking with her partner the whole time in their language and I couldn't relax for nothing. In addition, this time I decided to get a 10 minutes massage, it was not relaxing and pleasant at all and she was still talking on a high volume to a distance in the room. She was really rough and instead of enjoying it was hurting; two days later here I am with a pain on my back that it was only a minor discomfort when I got there that day. I think their massage chairs were they do the pedicure do a better job than this particular lady (the one that has a particular look different from all the ones who work in there). I'm defenetely going to miss my gently and sweet Aida read more

Great service!!! I went to do my acrylic nails. The lady provided me with great service. My nails were great!!!! She gave me a warm towel and lotion!! Also a message. However, my nails didn't last long, the nail color( no gel) came off by accident (once I moved) 3 times and I had to get them fixed. With acrylic my nails will last 2 weeks and come off, which I didn't like. But great service and patience. read more

It's very rare to find a good nail salon in the BX where it's all about fake nails and no hospitality. That was until I found Crystals in Tremont. The place is a little gem in Tremont where they not only do nails and feet but also specialize in Spa treatments as well. The environment is calm, with soothing music and pleasantries. My girl Vivian is awesome with her massages and sweet smile and does an awesome job with her manis and pedis. Suggestion: try the Reflexology Pedicure ($25) it's like heaven!!! read more

We always request either Jenny or Bella, they are great! We have never had a bad experience here. They also offer massages but I never had one. read more

Today I went to this horrendous spa. I had went last week to show them a picture of the nails that I wanted and one of the workers, not going to say any names, said she can do the nails and she charges an extra 15$ for two fingers that had a rainbow design, there was no issue with that. The real problem was when I went in today and did pedicure which was good but when i need to do my nails, it was a horrible... they knew what I wanted and gave me something totally different. The rainbow blend turned out to be nail polish layers and dots on a finger nail. I told them to take it offf and just to paint it one color and I received attitude from the nail technician which was unprofessional. To add on to that I was overcharged. I ended up paying 72$ (honestly, there was no refunds) for nails that actually cost 35$. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! read more

I stop by because i was super early for my cavitation lipo across from them (blancazur spa) they are AMAZING!!! But Kelly was very sweet and took care of me very well , she did a pedi and mani and a mini massage while i was drying . My feet could if needed more scrubbing to remove dead skin but besides that i think I'll definitely return. read more

This salon is clean and the staff is very friendly. The facilities are nice enough, but the real reason I will definitely come back is because of the pricing. The salon I used to go to in Stamford, CT, charged $110 for UV gel tips. Crystal?? $60!! $7 manicures, $15 pedicures...you really cannot beat those prices at all. I will definitely be a returning customer. read more

I have been going here for many years and have seen many people come and go. Today I will go because I have never been so angry at a place in my life. I was made to feel very uncomfortable and was actually refused services for a message If the boss was there I'm sure that would have never happened. The girl in charge is rude and always makes u feel like she is talking about you. I've tried many places and always came back here. I tip very well every time I go and I am infuriated the way I was treated here today. read more

DISAPPOINTED! I HAVE BEEN OVERCHARGED AND HURT PHYSICALLY BY PENG XIN THE NAIL TECHNICIAN !The technicians were not professional because the pedicure was half done and I had to tell them to put more nail polish on the nails because it looked baffled. Also the manicure technician hurt me and I could feel the pain on my finger skin and when Peng ( that's her name) put alcohol on it I felt it so deeply. The only excuse she gave me was "it's gonna be fine , I'm sorry" which calm me down. She had the audacity to ask me for tip, and I said next time today I cannot because the service was not good enough for me. She charged my card plus gratuity for her ( $4) which I didn't allow and I wasn't inform of until I looked at my account. THAT IS STILLING! She spoke mandarin to her colleagues talking about me in a way I knew she was pissed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! First and last time I'm going to a saloon that does not appreciate or take care correctly of the customers. read more

Terrible pedicure- short and not sweet! rude service and I will never return. She basically snatched the tip out of my hand. The BEST pedicure. Too bad I moved and don't live near by :-(

Used to be my favorite and I loved that they take appointments but I just had to walk out after waiting FORTY MINUTES when I had an appointment. When I asked how long the wait was going to be the nail technician mumbled and didn't give me an answer. When they were *nearly* ready for me I told them I had only stayed to see how long they were actually going to make me wait since it had been 40 minutes and I paid for an hour of parking. The owner proceeded to try and give me a quarter for the meter. I drove down the block to another salon. read more

They do a good job on the gel manicure. But when it comes to a permanent french they leave it clumpy and they don't cut your cuticles and the sides of my nails lifted the next day. 45 Dollars down the drain. read more

Horrible place. I have given it more than a few chances since it is close to home and cheap, however the staff has been rude to me on so many occasions it is ridiculous. If I arrive even 1.5-2 hours before closing, they will roll their eyes and tell you to leave so they can close early! Even when I have gotten my nails done and come at the middle of the day, they have been disrespectful. I don't understand what it is with the staff here but I always tip well and am courteous. Not worth the negative energy and rude comments. Never going back. read more

I have been going here for years. The owner is very attentive and the employees are all very friendly. The place is always spotless. I recommend the pedicures (they have very good massage chairs that you sit on during the pedicure). The massages are in private rooms with the lights turned down and pleasant music. The prices are very reasonable. I've never walked away unhappy. Clients are even friendly here! read more

WHITES ONLY? Was getting my nails done at my favorite nail salon, Crystal Nails, the other day when I witnessed one of the most blatant displays of bias. This was beyond the daily micro- aggressions we may typically feel. (Obvious) Latinas, and white folks walked in to Crystal Nail Salon on East Tremont Ave. and were told that they can be see in 10 minutes and treated warmly. A dark-skinned black woman walks in. She was a little fab and casual in her hair wrap. She asked for a repair of 3 nails and a color change. Unlike the rest, the manager tells her that she needs to wait 40 minutes, and repeated herself like 3 times. The woman looks at her, says okay, and leaves the salon. The manager turns backs and a look of satisfaction appears to wash over her. JIM CROW THROWBACK! Like a time warp. The manager might as well have told the woman, "No Blacks Allowed." I was shocked and upset. Like a veil was lifted, I looked around the salon and noticed that there was no one there comparable or darker than my own relative. We have always been treated so well there. Access through my pale face privilege perhaps? We paid and walked out drying. I am sadly going elsewhere from now on. That is not the world I choose. #safespaces #blacklivesmatter #alllivesmatter #equalitymatters #moneywhereyourmouthis #BoycottCrystalPalaceNailsonEastTremontAve #SadtosaygoodbyetomymanicuristBella read more

Oh yelp. How I wish for the ability to rate 0 stars. But que sera sera. This business is possibly racist but definitely rude. Tina, the lady who did my sns nails was rough. She did sns nails completely different than anywhere in the country. I've had them done in L.A., Minneapolis and astoria. From the removal to the application was not what's standard. Then she charged tax without saying so on my card. She's a total bitch. To add insult to injury, they were talking shit about these ladies that Tina booked on the wrong date as soon as they left the shop. I recognized it because apparently the word "repeat" must not have an exact equivalent and that's what one of the customers said Tina did was "repeat" when she confirmed the appt. Just stay away because there are a lot of places that do nails with a much better Customer service attitude. She seems to be in charge of the place and her says seem to roll down to the rest of the staff. read more

I have been coming to the salon for about a year and recently started gettingSNS manicures - not cheap at all every two weeks. Yesterday I had a bad experience with Tina- who is usually quick and neat. She was rude yesterday when she finished and I asked for change after I gave her 60 and she returned two $5 bills back. I asked for singles bc another technician did my pedicure. Well she has an awful look ok on her face when I counted the singles and split the top between her and the guy. She even rudely to me to keep it shoving it back to me. It gave me such a horrible impression that I'm still upset about it. This is a nice place and I kept coming here for their SNS but not again. Instead of being gracious she was ungrateful and quite frankly nobody has to tip it is purely optional. Despite her waving her hand at me to keep my money I insisted she take it and she finally did. But I should have given it all to the other guy to teach her a lesson. read more
