Flower Nails - Son is incredible. I've never had a better nail tech.

Flower Nails is one of Gwinnett's kept secrets. Son is incredible at acrylics - he's got this…read moreattention to detail and manages to get my fill-ins done in under an hour, which always surprises me. I've been getting my nails done monthly for over a year and they have not failed me. Lynn does a great job with pedicures. Her touch is gentle, and those leg massages are a nice bonus. The couple running Flower Nails are also the owners, I love supporting their small business. The prices are pretty reasonable too, just $26 for fill-ins that last a month. It's quite a deal considering the quality you get. Since they're on the smaller side, it's a good idea to call ahead and make an appointment.

I don't have a clue what happened with the last person who came in, but this salon is a constant in…read morethe community and well loved! I tried another HIGHLY rated salon in the area and it was trash. I even got one of the techs everyone said to ask for. I went in November to the other place for SNS and tips. The nails were SUPER thick and not only did it crack across the middle of one of my nails, but it literally ripped my nail causing extreme pain. I decided to come to Flower Nails (where I knew I should have gone originally) and they were incredibly gentle and the husband did a phenomenal job. He is a wizard with SNS. They didn't feel heavy and were so thin that it didn't look like I had fake nails on at all. I've since come back 3 more times to get them redone. My previous set lasted maybe 2-3 weeks but the sets I get at Flower Nails last over a month with very little wear and tear. Nail growth and thinner areas like the nail bed wear down before the actual SNS does. My broken nail has now healed and grown out and I've yet to have any issues. My only guess is that maybe the previous commenter came when the son was running the shop. He's an older teen-young adult and may not be able to do the services you need yet in the demand of time you want. This is a family owned salon with a husband and wife who do just fine by themselves. I hate to see it get low reviews and looked over!

When I first moved to this area, I went to few nails salons and didn't like it…read more On my way from work I've come here and they're good, albeit for me not close to my house. They have a lot people working doing it all manicure / pedicure / eyebrows, so some ladies are awesome, fast and great job, others stays on the phone and doing yours nails as well attending others at same time, which one time I've even left without the top-coat because they forgot and of course gel nail polish didn't last long. Overall it's a miss or hit experience. Almost in front of Kroger. Easy location. Good parking lot.

The service was quick but didn't feel rushed 3. The tech was nice and did exactly what I wanted 4. Pricing was reasonable Cons- 1. After I decided on my pedi the last sat down and started doing her nails and didn't explain who would be coming or when. After about 3-5 mins the tech finished with someone and came. 2. Not as cleanly as I am used to- normally all the tools are coming out of plastic, hers came out of her case (she just finished a pedi I pray they were sanitized) I didn't see her sanitize while she was doing my service 3. I didnt see her open a pumice stone just dip it in the water I had my pedi in (again praying its new) Not sure if I would come back due to sanitary concerns but overall the service was good.
