Worst pedicure I've ever received in my life! They were in a big rush and not taking their time. The man doing my nails was going so fast, he cut my toenail extremely short. Then he cut me with the cuticle clippers (and was being extremely rough in the places he didn't actually cut open). When he put acetone on it, I gasped and told him he cut my toe. Then, he proceeded to dig his nails into the cut every time paint got on it. The flower is horrendous. He looked at it, did a double take, noticing how bad it was, and sat me under the light. We told the front desk lady and he did offer to redo the flower but the acetone and his nails hurt so bad, I didn't want him to touch my toe again. read more

Horrible service. A drimel drill was used on natural nails. Dispite me telling the lady my nails were not gel. She said the drill was only going to be for my cuticles but then used the drill file to take of nail polish. Severe damage to my nail bed. Doctor said 6-8 weeks until the nail grows out. read more

This place is filthy. There is dog hair everywhere, the windows are greasy, there is nail dust everywhere, and mold growing on the floor behind the pedicure chairs. The older lady who did my nails had an open cut on her finger and didnt want to wear gloves. They wanted to use dirty nail files. She forgot to put the basecoat on my gel mani and it fell off after a day. I called to complain and they said they would refund the $55 they charged me. They never refunded me or called me back. I got a manicure and pedicure and when I was in the massage chair getting a pedicure, one of the guys came over and did my manicure at the same time as the pedicure. he kept stepping over and around the lady doing the pedicure to go from one hand to another. He made me turn off the massage chair while he was doing my nails and I had to hold my hands up in the air for him. not a huge deal, but definitely not a relaxing experience. also, one of the workers was on the phone yelling at someone for the entire time i was in there. very unprofessional and i will not be returning. read more

Why didn't I listen to the two-star reviews? Why didn't I stay out when I saw the greasy fingerprints all over the front door? The place is very dirty. Business-related junk is piled up all over the place. There's a lot that needs scrubbing and dusting. My manicure was awful. Nails poorly shaped, skin that's normally removed or cleared remains torn and rough. Next time, I'm going to one of the nicer places, and hope for a better result. In the Roaring Fork Valley, don't expect a good experience from this $18 manicure. I shouldn't have chosen by price. Nearby places charge $30 or 35. The staff of immigrants works very hard. I called the nail salon earlier this morning and asked for an appointment at 11. They said they did not have room and asked if I could come at 11:45. That's no problem at all so I showed up and there was already two people waiting to be worked on. They had me take a seat and pick my nail color. Quick job, no fuss, which is probably standard for polish change. (Went back in to have smudge fixed and was told to come back in 1/2 hour). This nail salon is awful. I have been getting my nails done for years, so I understand that sometimes a salon can be hit or miss. This one is always miss. I heard they remodeled and decided to give them a chance (since the next closest one is a 20 mins drive down valley). I walked in on a Saturday at 5pm, my fill was not started until 6pm. I was then told that the gel color I chose they did not have (after looking for one minute they made this assumption). After picking a different color on the chart I was told they did not have any of those (this is the gel chart I was handed at 5pm to choose from. I was then directed to a wall of about 10 colors to choose from. My fill was awful, I had to get simple things redone before even leaving (top coat didn't cover all the color, acrylic was put over top of my cuticles.. etc). By Monday my nails were breaking, the color was peeling off, a few nails didn't even get filled in all the way. I called and asked to speak with the owner, she directed me to come in at 6pm that evening to get them fixed by her. I show up at 545pm and explained who I was. She told me I can wait 30 mins and the guy who originally messed them up will do them again. I said no I requested to have them done by someone else and made my appointment at 6pm not after the fact. She then told me to come back tomorrow. I come back the following evening as directed and was told it would be 45 mins and the same guy again. After sticking up for myself and explaining the point of an appointment, and a request to have someone better fix them.. I was given a very rude treatment by both the owner and the original nail tech. (I simply asked to have something fixed that should have been done right the first time). After seeing how rude they were, multiple customers told me they have had similar issues and will not be returning. I have also witnessed people making appointments that were never written down after getting off the phone and/or waking out the door. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Especially from a business owner who should care what her customers are getting from their experience. read more

The young woman who did my nails was very nice but you could tell she lacked a bit of experience. I got a dip manicure ($55) and it was very bad. While the design I wanted was able to be done (alternating 3 shades pinks on my fingers) the filing and application of the dip was horrible. The filing was so uneven as well as the dip. I had an appointment at 2:30 wasn't seen till 3:15 and was late for my own wedding reception. Not only was the place dirty but I also felt like I was intruding. My $35 pedicure lasted 15 minutes and my massage was the bottom of my feet being slapped loudly. Also, she broke my toenail off trying to get an ingrown out so now it's worst. Was trying to have a relaxing pedi and mani before my wedding turned into a complete disaster. I should have known I would get a 2.0 pedicure since that was there ratings. Also nothing was sanitized. I want to love this place because it's just about the only option for pedicures in Basalt with chairs that massage. Well, I think I'm finally giving up forever. The chair I sat in today didn't even massage and was so warped, I could feel the rollers/mechanics poking into my back. I was sat in a dirty chair, and hesitated to start before asking the tech if she was going to clean the tub first. She quickly did so, but I'm still kind of/completely grossed out by their facilities and practices. No massage. It was actually an overall painful experience, mentally and physically. I have been here a few times and every time is pretty bad but this last time - completely unacceptable. I called to make an appointment for 5pm and when I got there still had to wait 30 minutes. No one even acknowledged me when I came in the door. I asked the owner if I should come back tomorrow as I had limited amount of time and she completely ignored me, no response. The lady next to me was also waiting and had been for sometime and when she said she would come back later because she had some other errands to run and didn't want to wait, the owner told her to "sit down and stop talking". Then she took my arm and physically PUT me in a chair, without making eye contact or speaking to me. The color selections are terrible. The lady who ended up doing my pedicure was sweet and I felt bad for her that she had to work under this tyrant. The girl sitting next to me was so fed up with the service she got up and left in the middle of her pedicure... people walking out left and right and each time the owner just turned to her employees and laughed, didn't phase her one bit. She was yelling at her employees AND customers...I wouldn't go back here if you PAID me to- and hope this place gets reported to the BBB or goes out of business, they are horrible you guys. read more

My WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I'm the one that would normally leave a five star review if the experience was not bad. I hate to leave a one star review and I've never done that before. I went in to do a full set acrylic, they did not fix my cuticles at all and glued the fakes on right away. I did not question her, thinking that the lady new what she was doing. In the middle of the process she told me to pay and I handed her my credit card. THIS IS THE UNBELIEVABLE PART. She then told me to go to City Market to buy something to get cash back, not realizing I can't with a credit card I went anyways. This is with my half way done nail that shouldn't been seen in the light of day. I came back to them and they told me to "GO HOME AND GET CASH" I asked them to finish my nails and they did unwillingly with an outrageous attitude. It was poorly done. I went in today for an acrylic nail fill with "T," the man in the shop. My temperature was immediately taken and I was asked to register my name and telephone number. I was then asked to wash my hands at a very clean sink next to a container filled with clean, folded towels, next to a bin into which they were to be dropped following single use. I sat at his table, separated from T by a sturdy and sufficiently large plexiglass divider. T did a great job on my nails, filling them evenly, and applying the polish perfectly (I brought my own, but it appeared they had a nice selection of gels and regular polishes. My daughter had leg waxing and a pedicure done by a younger woman who spoke perfect English, and she was very happy with both services. I felt very safe in the salon given their Covid precautions, and will definitely be returning, given the great job T did for me. read more
