We have been here every 2 weeks for nails, they are very artistic, and do great work. This Last time, the tip given to the woman "H" was not acceptable by her standards, she pushed the tip back and made a face like, your kidding right. I guess a 10$ tip was not enough for her. I felt humiliated, so I went to the atm right there and got 20$ more out and gave it to her, I will never step foot in there again. How dare you shame a customer into a bigger tip. read more

Please please read this.... Yesterday, September 9th, 2015.. I went to Nails Spa and Beyond for a basic pedicure... The young lady who was giving me the pedicure seemed to be sweet..I don't have anything personally against her...however, when she was using the tool that is used to remove dead skin, she rubbed so hard on the side of my big toe...I saw stars and yelled in pain....then I look at my foot and blood is gushing out of my toe....the young lady really didn't seem startled...she went and found some kind of powder which seemed to stop the bleeding...and somewhat finished the pedicure...the side of my toe, although black didn't hurt at the time... I did ask for a band aid...she got up and then two women came over to look at my toe...the receptionist and another woman...and they said..the young lady just went to the dollar store to get a band aid...WAIT! No one asked me if I was ok...and when I left they charged me!!! And...I am ashamed to admit...I gave the girl a $5.00 tip... I think I was in shock! So...as the story goes...today my toe is killing me...and the shoes I need to wear this weekend...hurt it worse! I called to tell them that I will be giving them an unfavorable reference..and I will never go there again and anyone I know will never go there again! The receptionist asked for my number and said the owner would want to speak to me...I declined, there is nothing the owner can say or do after the fact... Very very poor customer service...I mean really...wouldn't you say, how does it feel? Or maybe....we are sorry! Please...do not go there! read more

Been going here for about a year; but it's gone downhill. I used to go to Jessie, and loved how amazing and healthy my nails were. Well, in the fall, they must have cleaned house, because about 4 girls were just "gone". The remaining staff, and newcomers are incapable of doing a decent gel/powder/regular manicure. My gels have not lasted more than 5 days in the last 2 months. These people are just robots, not looking at their customers nails, or even listening. Last week, the girl almost used the instruments from the prior customer on me. She insisted they were mine (from my pedi). IMO, go find another salon - there's plenty in the area. read more

Just received a Mani/Pedi and the service is sub par at best, honestly the only reason I gave them one star was for the cleanliness of the environment. It's the worst when you feel like you are getting well beyond less than average service because you decide not to upgrade past the $35 Mani/Pedi Special. Not only has my service been rushed, but it was as if she barely did anything. My pedicure was 16 minutes long! (excluding the fact I had glitter polish to start). I live in the Bergen County area and have never seen such laxadiasical service. I won't be coming here again that I can assure you. read more

Been going to this salon for years! Highly recommend and much better than other local places. I have had almost all of the staff members do work on me and I have never had a problem. The best nail salon I have come across yet. The staff is nice and friendly. They take their time and I never Feel rushed. I see Sarah for my pedicures, she's wonderful! She's very patient with me and I feel very relaxed! I also get my gels done with Trey, who always does a good job! I have never had a broken nail or chipped polish when I get my gels done by him! I had the best mani and pedi ever. They have plastic liner for their pedicure chair and their jet are soak in barberside. The place was clean and sanitize. the employee take their time. Everyone was very friendly. I had their spa pedi and mani it was super relaxing. Ive try alot of nails salon around and tjis is a keeper. They also do hair and facial. I'll have to come back and try that next time. I will Definitely coming back here again!!!! read more

This place is very clean, nice, roomy and friendly. i come in with a cup of tea, my magazine and they press on the massage chair. I am very picky about where i go for nails but they do a very nice job and i don't worry about catching something. Decor is lovely and I watch as they sterilize everything. This place has definitely gone downhill. I have been a customer for several years and it just isn't the same now. My most recent experiences include calling in the morning and not being able to get in for a simple gel manicure anytime during the day on a weekday! In 3 years, this is the first time this has happened. The next time, the tech rushed through my gel manicure and pedicure and the mani was peeling in less than a week. Because I was out of town, I was out of luck because I could not get in there within the 2 week "guarantee" period. So, I got one more gel manicure there (because the place is so clean and I have had good experiences in the past) and it was the same young woman who did it. Because it again peeled within a week, I went in for a repair and Trisha forced me to have it repaired with the same tech which is poor customer service in my opinion. I explained to the tech while I was there that the reason it is lifting is because she did not clean up the cuticles adequately and then painted the gel over the cuticles. Well, she did it again. Two days later my gel was peeling and I called and talked with Danielle. She told me she would talk with the manager and get back to me. I never heard from her. I thought that since Danielle has known me for years and I have not been a chronic complainer, I would hear back. I guess they don't need me as a customer that badly so I will go elsewhere. A shame since I have sent so many of my friends there over the years. I will be sure to update them on the decline of the salon. read more
