No service rendered, no flexibility offered, no attempt to do the right thing. That tells me everything I need to know. This is a business that values squeezing $80 out of a customer over showing even minimal decency. Short-sighted, tone-deaf, and not the kind of people I'll ever do business with again. Enjoy the $80. Karma has a way of keeping score. Follow-Up: I received a response from the owner attempting to justify what happened, but it completely missed the facts. This wasn't a case of someone trying to misuse credentials in a typical sense--it was a one-on-one appointment that was already booked, paid for with credits, and ultimately went unused.
