I highly recommend Tuan and Lina for their exceptional manicure and pedicure services. Tuan does the most amazing manicures and pedicures. Typically, I have Tuan attend to my feet while Lina handles my nails, and I opted for a hard gel manicure. My preference is to see only these two talented younger stylists, who consistently demonstrate kindness and professionalism. They have taken over the business and significantly improved it, which is why I now make the monthly trip from Los Angeles specifically to visit them. Wish I could say better things bc I feel for the small local business who look so slow and are literally waiting for customers. When I walked in they took me immediately. That was the best part of the experience. They talked loudly the entire time in their native language and I was the only client. Massage was very sub par. My appointment was dec 23 and within less than 5 days 4 of my nails came completely off. I should have left in the first 5 minutes because of the way she was removing remaining acrylic off my nails the fast way by popping them off with another nail tip. I came to this nail salon as I was visiting SD during a holiday and everywhere was closed! They took me in as a walk-in and I was so pleased with my experience. If I lived in SD, this would be my go-to spot! I did a full set acrylic manicure, gel pedicure and upper lip wax all for an affordable price (I've paid more for just a pedi/mani at other places). Great selection of color! I wish I had a picture of my final product but definitely one of my favorite nails I've ever had. They told me that they just switch management. If I could give this establishment zero stars I would. Walked in asking for a polish change and polish for my daughter was told. Yes they could do it mind you. It's only one person getting their nails and toes done as I was waiting. A lady comes out of the back and speaks to her husband/co-worker shortly after I was told that I would have to wait one hour to get a polish changed and for my daughter to get her nails done mind you the both of them were on the one customer. Basically you just told me you didn't want to do my nails without telling me. Just don't. I was in mayor need of a gel mani removal. And I was at the grocery store near by so I stopped by. I asked for gel removal, nail cut and shape and a regular manicure.(I think the last two things are part of a regular manicure but I am not sure) The lady that did them left my nails super crooked/uneven. When she asked what color I asked for CLEAR coat and proceeded to just buff them and leave as is. The language barrier was extremely difficult and I noticed how crooked one hand was so I decided to not say anything and leave. read more

When you get gel manicure it's supposed to last 2-3weeks but it didn't even last 2 days. They don't even give you a good clean around your nail. Not going here again. This is a really cute little nail and eyebrow salon. The people are nice too, and they have a little girl that is just adorable. We went in for my friend's bday. They got their eyebrows done, which looked fantastic! They also got gel mani/pedi's (not the deluxe ones in the massage chairs, but that looks fun too!). I got a color change, and I had bruised one of my nails when I hit it in my car door a month ago, so I wanted to get it filed down. She did a fantastic job filing off the dead nail part, and then did a great paint job. My friend's nails also looked good! It was cheap and fast, just the way I like it! A color change was only $5, but I gave a tip for the filing. The inside has massage pedi chairs and a couple of desks for manis. There are some back rooms for eyebrows and waxes, and the bathroom is so clean and fresh! The rest of the interior is just nice and calming. It was my first time in. I opened the door and it was so darkly lit I asked if they were open. They said yes and I proceeded to request a gel manicure. Simple I thought. The woman (kim)!was very talkative and friendly , I think she's the owner. The process was nice and I was okay with the initial result but they were definitely not as good as I've had elsewhere . i woke the next morning to find half of my nails had the polish peel right off. I went back as soon as possible that next day and was remembered but not acknowledged by Kim. She was working with a client and had someone else repair my nails but never looked at me or spoke to me. I know she recognized me because she remembered the color Of polish she had applied the night before . Definitely no apology for the sub par work. Probably one of the worst quality mani pedis I have ever gotten. My acrylics started to peel up not even a week after I got them done. Toe nail polish is very uneven. Big toe nail was cut crooked. I asked and paid for a spa pedicure and acrylic gel mani and had to explain to them multiple times within a half hour what it was I wanted. I understand there is a language barrier, but this was utter unprofessional. The man was very rough, yanking my hand around and filing way to close to the skin. He got super glue ALL over my hands. I guess you get what you pay for. 50 bucks later and I am left with overly filed, super sensitive cuticles, and a crappy paint job. I definitely won't opt for a cheaper place. I like this place, especially because walk ins never have a long wait. The only thing I don't like is that gel polish is an additional 10 bucks. I don't know the gals names & they probably don't know mine. I called ahead once to be there in 5 min but when I got there I had to wait because someone else walked in and said SHE called!
