Called and asked if I could com come over.. They said sure. I went in and was surprised to see a very upscale setup. Inside was clean and spotless. The attendants were a mix of Male and females about 5 in total. Service was quick and immaculate! THIS IS THE PLACE FOR ANY INTRICATE NAIL DESIGNS...SO challange them they love a challenge! Prices are reasonable if paying cash. I paid for a pedicure, nail design and shellac in total $65 which could have been more if I used a debit/creditcard(as I was told). The pedicure machines had a plastic bag lining and that seemed interesting as I've never seen that before. Nowhere in St Catharines will you get nails or nail designs like you will at Nail Experts!! My girlfriends and I used to go all the way to Toronto to get stellar designs until I was introduced to Kenny and Katie!! The salon is gorgeously decorated and always clean. The staff is super friendly and always willing to accommodate the customers needs. I have never had a bad experience at Nail Experts. I have much longer nails so Kenny is my go to guy for designs..but so many of the staff are great at hooking up beautiful nail designs!! Check them out once..you will be hooked!!!! Very clean! I liked how you can see the reusable nail equipment being cleaned in the studio. There is also a display where all the clean and new disposable equipment is stored. Large staff so all of the chairs for toes and fingers were taken. Very friendly upon entrance, i was greeted right away by staff members. Theresa/Tracy (cant remember her name) did my pedicure and did a very clean job, no pain when trimming cuticles but did not try to converse, seemed to get annoyed when I wanted to change my colour before she started painting, and there was some confusion on the type of polish...but did a very good job! Mimi did my acrylic nails and did an amazing job on the shape and colour of the nails and made sure i liked the shape before painting & made sure I was satisfied when she was finished. The only negative thing about my acrylics was there was a bit of pain while trimming the cuticles (most likely due to hangnails) but over all did a lovely job on my hands!! i was extremely impressed. I did a walk-in and I was served almost immediately. The man who did my manicure was thorough with his work and was quite the comedian! Everyone who was there getting their nails done seemed like regulars which is probably a great thing. Make sure you don't get suckered into all the extras if you don't want them (nail design, rhinestones, etc) I was super impressed with the outcome and will probably come back for a pedicure next time as well! read more

Very unclean environment. Work table was very dusty and dirty. Manicurist was in a hurry and messy with removal of existing nail polish; very little cuticle and soaking attention. Nail clipping and filing was incomplete; shards were left on the nail. I had to ask her to file them more smoothly. Undercoat was dabbed on instead of applied on the whole nail. The first coat was barely applied and the second coat was overapplied and too quickly. Air bubbles appeared afterward even with the top drying coat, which was also overly and unevenly applied. She did not understand or simply did not comply when I asked her not to use her own fingernail to clear away some overlap on my cuticle. This is very UNHYGIENIC and unprofessional. A wooden instrument should have been used instead, or with at least a covered stick. Will not return. Nancym read more

So i have gone to this salon for 15 years... I have seen it turn from a small caring salon to a big money maker who does not understand anymore customer service! I recently tried to get a manicure and pedicure. The boy, (and yes very young) did my toes without looking at me, as he seemed to be very interesting in looking at what else was happening and not at his customer. It was a painful experience due to his lack of attention. Then I sat for 20 minutes with my hands in water til I gave up in getting my hands done! I will not be back. read more

I keep going back to give them a chance and I don't know why I do. Went in today to get a pedicure and acrylic nails for my wedding. I had a cold water "spa pedicure" ..didn't know I was paying for a "spa pedicure" until they cashed me out. The girl who did my pedicure was very nice but the massage was literally 20-30 seconds on my feet and one run up my legs with a scrub. The pedicure was all about 20 minutes and then painting for 10 minutes. My acrylic nails were rushed, the station was dusty and dirty I had to wipe the seat off before i sat down, the girl made my nails so thick and mis-shaped. She tried to tell me I needed a manicure to push back my cuticles.... WhAT? Im sorry, Im paying for a full set of acrylic nails, shouldn't pushing back the cuticles be a part of making the nails look nice? so I said no of course.. very rushed. I was in there at 10 am.. started at 10:10 am and was out of there with full set of terrible acrylic nails and "spa pedicure" by 11:20 am..... $83.... needless to say I did not pull out my stamp card as I will never go back.
