First time here. Had Nick I believe the owner. He was very rushed and rough. Did a lousy job on the pedicure not relaxing at all See photos. Sloppy Also my gel manicure, did 3 coats on one hand and 2 on the other. I should've of had to tell him they were different colors. He was just distracted looking around. The lady who answered the phone was very sweet but the lady who did my nails was very rude. She hurt me several times and my nails look absolutely awful. The paint job is awful on both hands. She barely said a word to me. Kept jerking my hands. I would not recommend this nail salon to anybody and will not be returning. These are my nails not even 5 minutes after leaving there. She also kept rushing and didn't say anything when she finished just moved to the next girl. EDIT: I had to go to a different nail salon and get them repainted. When she was repainting them she noticed that the acrylic they used most likely was mma or the glue she put underneath the powder (neither should've been on there) I had to have them soaked off which took 2 1/2 hours when usually they should soak off within an hour. They should come off easily but instead were gooey. My nails had a lot of damage from this salon. I have cuts in my cuticles from here. read more

I am here in Cape Coral for a month and went here after Christmas for a gel mani/pedi. Not even joking, my nails started peeling before 5 days! Back home, they last 3 weeks. I don't know if it's cheap gel or what but it's the worse. I had scheduled another appointment for two weeks out but I called back and cancelled the appointment and told the lady they were peeling. She didn't even say to come back and they would fix them. Poor service and poor job! Don't waste your time unless you want to spend $95 for it not to last! I'll never go back there! EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR PEDICURES IN SW CAPE CORAL! I came into this awesome family-run business having had a rather challenging day. I wasn't in the best of moods. I left feeling renewed and so happy I was practically bouncing. I've finally found MY nail salon in Cape Coral! The space is super-clean and organized. Their polish selection is very good and I was happy to see they offer OPI polishes. I found a favorite right away. Everyone I met had a smile on their face and was friendly and personable. The pedicure I was given was top-notch from start to finish with no skipped steps. In fact, my feet presented a couple challenges this visit - which isn't typical. 1. I clipped my toenails too short. I like them short but I went a bit far this time. 2. I opened a door over the top of my middle toe and scraped it up. Despite these challenges, I had absolutely NO discomfort. No scrapes, bumps or product stings. Truly an expert pedicure service. I paid $25 for a pedicure and found it to be a great value. Bonus: They have a punch card system. After ten punches, you receive $10 off your next service. They were very busy in the middle of the afternoon when I arrived today. I asked about the best time to come. They let me know that it's best to make an appointment (especially during season) and that their mornings are very busy. If you want to walk-in, like I did, late afternoon (3:00 pm or after) may work better. Final Assessment: Great Service! Excellent Environment! I really enjoyed my first visit to Nail Design. I was greeted by a young lady Alyssa who wrapped my nails so I could soak off my polish. She welcomed me and told me that Nail Design is a family business. Her sisters, brothers, cousins, parents all work here together along with her Aunt and Uncle who I believe are the primary owners. Tommy did my nails. He's a young man in college who did an excellent job on my pedicure and manicure. They have OPI and Gelish gels. A large selection of colors (just got in about 60 new colors they were saying). I got an awesome teal color on my toes and my OPI Funny Bunny for my finger nails. The shop is clean. They have comfortable massage chairs for the pedicures and their manicure tables have the gel lights built in so no moving the light around - just put your hand under the lights. I saw that they also do waxing which I will have to try out. Highly recommend this family owned and operated business. read more

I was visiting and I came in here because of all the fabulous reviews on Yelp. I got a powder dip manicure. All of the staff were great-- unusually friendly and professional. It also seemed like almost all the customers were regular, returning clients, which is definitely a good sign. My nails ended up looking really cute, and the manicure is lasting like it should. They had a good color selection. When she was buffing my nails, she kept accidentally getting the edge of my fingers; I left with three bleeding fingers! Maybe that's just a common problem with the powder dip process, but this was my first time so I'm not sure. read more

She did anyways, now it's a bloody mess and will most likely get infected. Don't know the name. One of the older ladies. Wish that it had turned out differently. 6/10 nails bloody. When in Cape Coral, you must get your nails beach ready! The weather was cooler than usual, but that's no excuse to not get a mani and pedi. I wanted to treat a good friend to a mani and pedi, so this review is based on that experience. I made an appointment for my friend the day before and they were able to accommodate a gel manicure and gel pedicure for 10 a.m. The day of the appointment, we finished breakfast early so she wanted to see if they would take her in half an hour early. The shop is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. We were greeted right away by the store owner who said she could take my friend early. As I looked around to see if I should follow my friend or have a seat, the lady manager said I could sit with my friend if I wanted to. Yay! Since my friend does not get manis very often, I wanted to just spend some girl time while she got pampered. Michael was her nail tech and was very professional and meticulous. He checked the water was not too hot or cold and did did a great job on cuticles and applying the gel polish. My friend said the scrub massage on the legs were a bit hard, but I told her it's ok to let the tech know if you want it lighter or more pressure. Everyone's preference is a little different and it's ok to say something. They let me sit in the massage chair with my friend which was more than I expected, but if they needed the seat I would have more than happy to move. There were plenty of women and men getting pedicures so that was cool. The shop was very clean and they used a really good quality gel polish and regular nail polish brand. I also liked that they had a good selection of colors, but not too many that you get overwhelmed. My friend went with a turquoise color with sky blue glitter. It was perfect for the beachside. The massage chairs were also of good quality and it was very relaxing. The manicure was just as good as the gel manicure was smooth, shiny, and sparkling. Love it. So if you're looking for a nail spot in Cape Coral, I would recommend Nail Design. The shop is welcoming, clean, and the prices are very reasonable. They use high quality products and they take their time to do a good job. My friend was very pleased with her matching nails and toes and I agree they did a great job. Winner! I've been to a million nail salons in my time, and this is one of the best! I just moved to the area and didn't know where to go to get my acrylics filled and a pedicure done. Also, I needed my brows waxed. One lady waxed my eyebrows and my upper lip as soon as I walked in. It was fast, painless, and they came out really good. Next, on to my nails. This lady, Holly, was the waxer's sister! In fact, the whole place was staffed with relatives! I really liked that. They really seemed to help each other out. Holly did a great job on my acrylic fill. Then a third lady did my pedicure. She was also excellent. They all were exceedingly friendly & helpful. And there were no cuts, or cuticle picking! The reviews were accurate- the place is great - clean, efficient and relaxing! Had a gel manicure and a regular pedicure for $50. Tom did a great job on my gel mani and pedi. Lisa did some really pretty valentine nail art - all by hand and adorable (it was a total of $5 extra for two nails- so worth it). I will definitely return! Well I went back when I said I wouldn't. Not a good experience. I made an appointment for a pedicure, not gel polish. Went in they rushed through the pedi and when she was going to polish she picked up gel. I said I didn't want gel and she started polishing anyway. I again told her I didn't want gel. I gave up and had to pay the $45.00 instead of the $35.00. The polish is very uneven. It needed another coat. read more

Again, people were so nice. Idk if this is bc I am used to a mani and pedi in NY but for $42 that was the most ridiculous mani pedi I have ever received. The paint job was not bad but not great. Friendly yes, but bad job (not even good) on the pedi and the mani. I don't get them very often but had a wedding to attend. Was very disappointed. A man/women team did mine and neither of them did a good job. Charge was $80 plus $20 tip. When my daughter saw my nails she just laughed and said I need to take her with me next time lol. I was visiting family on the Cape and 2/3/16 was the only day I had to get a mani/pedi ($30) this shop had good google reviews so I gave them a chance. I went in with a design on my phone that I wanted for the Super Bowl (go Broncos). Michael gave me a pedi and Trang did the art work. Then Trang did my mani with a free hand of the Bronco on my 2 fingers, super great job. I was impressed that they never made you feel uncomfortable by speaking anything other than english (which was very clear and easy to understand). Very clean shop and very friendly staff. I will be buying a house in the area and this will be my go to nail spa. Give them a try if you are in town. By far the worst place ever been to literally walked in and the guy asked me if I spray tan... I told him yes and he told me to start wearing gloves... And I'm like what? Didn't say anything to me the rest of the time sat there awkwardly. Had a couple nails broken he was going super aggressive on my fingers I'm literally bleeding on for my fingers... Let alone it was $40 for a fill... my cuticles are either gone or all over the place he was filing my finger so hard that literally their throbbing right now told me that my cuticles were too dry? And I'm like OK... Never been told that before but OK one of my fingers is literally slanted in the nail so I have to fix it myself and he cut into my skin so deep it's literally burning story of my life. read more

I have been having my nails done at Nail Design for several years. I would not go to another salon because having tried other nail salons since living in the Cape, this IS the Best. I have gel nails and always have Nick do them. He is a master at his craft. That may sound silly, but as a woman in her 60's who knows quality, This is where you get it. Another reason this is the "gem" of nail salons, his family are "artists" at what THEY do. His wife, Kim, always does my pedicure (and waxings) and always has a smile on her face. His daughters and other family members also perform to the highest quality. You will not find a nail salon with this "consistent" high quality. I also want to mention their "Free Hand" work...You ask for it, they can do it.... It makes a big difference when a family works together and they Always take pride in their work.... read more
