My friend and myself, and our two daughters went into this salon today hoping to get mani/ pedi's done. The door was unlocked, the lights were on, and there were people inside getting their nails done - but the woman that was there was extremely rude in telling us that she could not accommodate us today. My friends daughter was very polite, telling her it would be for four people~ but yet again she was extremely rude. I see no reason why a business owner or employee would feel the need to be so rude and off-putting to people that are trying to patronize her establishment. So, even though she could not fit us in today, there is no chance we will be going back there anytime soon. I am giving this business one star because it is not giving me the option to give zero. read more

ProNails is my go to nail salon since moving to Ft Myers. I just get a simple gel manicure and the occasional pedicure, but they do a terrific job. During the off season I've never had to wait, but during season it's best to make an appointment or call ahead. Sometimes there's a few other people waiting. Their prices are great and they have a card that you can get stamped each time to save on your 5th and 10th visits I think. They have a great selection of regular and gel nail polish too! I'd certainly recommend checking this place out if you are new to the area. Just don't go around lunch time - that's when I like to sneak in to get my nails done. :) read more

So poorly run! You walk in the door with an appointment and no welcome greeting except "sign in" My daughter and I had manicure appointments, I was seated and 20 minutes in I stated that my daughter had an appointment also and basically no response! My manicure was so terrible, a child could have done a better job. The cuticle cutter was pulling my skin, application of polish was terrible didn't cover the nail, and no hand massage. It was a Tuesday so they were not busy and I can see why, not a friendly place to spend your money. My daughter was never acknowledged and she was the one who made the appointments. I found this salon on Yelp. I desperately needed to get my nails done while on a business trip. I loved the way Amy did my nails. She was meticulous with my cuticles, and let me just say she had her work cut out for her! I also observed that she didn't rush through my manicure, even though it was getting approaching closing. The manager was very appreciative of my business and articulated such. If I ever come back to Fort Myers this is definitely going to be on my stop. read more

This is a great little place. Very clean and serene! The people are super nice and great at what they do. I had one lady do my pedicure and a gentleman do my shellac manicure. I'm very picky when it comes to my nails, this place didn't give me an option to complain about anything! They take their time and make sure you're happy! After patronizing this establishment for the last few months since moving to Ft Myers, I have decided I will not be returning. I paid $70 for my nails with tip, and three days later had significant staining on the white tips of the french manicure. I had no idea what caused it, but wanted to find out if they could be fixed. I called prior to going, and spoke to the female owner. She encouraged me to come in to see how she could help. When I arrived, I was instructed to go to the nail technician that had done my nails. Immediately I had three people surrounding me, telling me forcibly that I used suntan lotion and this is what caused the staining. I had not used suntan lotion, or any chemicals that they insisted I had (bleach, chlorine pool chemicals, etc.) The male owner came over, and very sternly told me "this is no fault of our own, this is your fault, you must have used suntan lotion. I came over because you are making the nail tech feel bad." I immediately apologized, insisted I was not blaming anyone for this, and just wanted to know my options to make them look better. I even told him I must have touched something dark colored at a wedding I had just attended, but that I do not use suntan lotion at all (I am dark complexioned already). Nonetheless, I was not blaming anyone or accusing the nail tech of anything, I just wanted to know if they could be re-painted, or buffed out, and what the fees would be. He insisted I used suntan lotion, and his voice got very loud. There were at least 5 employees all yelling across the salon in another language, with everyone apparently discussing my nail dilemma. By this point, I had other patrons staring at me intently. I became very humiliated, apologized for wasting anyone's time, and left almost in tears. I felt personally attacked in a very vicious way, and practically chased out of the salon. After being a loyal customer since moving here, I felt wrongfully accused and humiliated for simply asking questions about how to fix nails I recently had done. Again, I was not claiming or blaming anyone had done a bad job, I knew the staining happened from something although I haven't been able to pinpoint it. I did not mind paying to have them repaired, I just did not appreciate being confronted by multiple defensive employees yelling at me all at once and talking about me in a language I did not understand. It was very uncomfortable and demeaning and I will gladly take my money and business elsewhere. I went to another nail salon, who immediately understood the issue. I had ONE person very kindly tell me staining could happen from anything-dark clothes, makeup etc. No one accused me of using suntan lotion. They buffed and repainted my nails for a small charge and I will continue to have my nails done there. read more

My regular salon is closed for relocation, so I gave this one a shot. Hmm. "Functional" is about the best I can say. They did a fairly good job of shaping and polishing my nails (although one of my toenails just cracked, which has never happened before), and because I had broken nails on several fingers, the technician told me he'd do acrylics on all of them, followed by the gel I'd requested. I did appreciate that. However, I got NO massage whatsoever; not on feet, legs, hands, or arms - all of which are standard in the salon I usually attend. In fact, the pedicure didn't even include a salt scrub on my feet, much less my legs, and the manicure didn't even include hand lotion afterwards. Part of the allure of having a mani/pedi is the feeling of treating yourself to a little luxurious pampering, and I most definitely did NOT feel that. Instead, I felt as if they were trying to rush me in and out (despite the fact that I'd made an appointment). And they charged me $15 more than I normally pay for far better service. They do a decent job. I got my fingernails polished and a pedicure. Neither were outstanding, but because they do it inexpensively, I wasn't expecting a stellar job. They could have done a better job filing my nails an making sure that they were all the same length, but that's something I can easily fix myself. With my pedicure, I expected to get my feet filed so they weren't so rough, but I simply got the scrubby pad. read more

When I first went there I was not happy with the way my nails were done so I returned the next day and she corrected them and she did not have a bad attitude about it. I put an app on to translate it to English. Lisa shared in her native language her disgust for everything about me. She was rude, rough and in a big hurry. I just moved from NY and needed to find a nail salon. I actually google nail salons near me and read the previous reviews about this place and figured how bad can they be. WELL they are BAD! I Walked in and the place smelled so bad from all the different nail products they use that I had to cover my nose and mouth. Isn't there a ventilation law in FL ? Told lady at counter I wanted a pedicure and manicure and all she said was sit down, so I did. She was rude and didn't even tell me how long of a wait there would be and no one else that worked there seemed to have personalities either. After one minute I got up and walked out due to the smell and how rude they are. I've never walked out of a nail salon before but had to with this one. Stopped in for a nail polish change on my lunch break, normally go to a place nearby but they were booked full.. So I gave them a chance. First impression was the poor customer service or lack thereof. They told me to sit down and I clearly stated I only wanted a polish change. The girl gets the manicure stuff out and tries to give me a full manicure. After I corrected her on my request, she seemed put off the whole rest of the time. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she was not helpful in looking for colors, she told me just to "pick one". She didn't talk to me the whole time she did my nails. Positives were that she ended up being very quick and did a pretty good job. Criticism would be the customer service needs an improvement! Customers like to feel engaged and welcome. read more
