DO NOT COME HERE. I wanted to love this place given the online presence and reviews, but my experience was disappointing from the start. When I arrived, no one acknowledged me. The receptionist (or technician) was on the phone and made no effort to greet or check me in. It felt uncomfortable enough that I left and waited at a nearby café for nearly an hour instead of sitting in the lobby. The pedicure itself lasted about 25-30 minutes and felt rushed. The tech was extremely young and inexperienced. There was no proper nail cleaning, no cuticle work, and no attention to detail. I still had visible black polish residue from my previous pedicure when I left. For $50, I expected significantly more care and thoroughness. When I chose my color, it clearly needed another coat for full coverage. Instead of addressing it, I was told that "next time" I should ask for full coverage. The service was completed at 5:35 PM, and they close at 7 PM, yet everything felt rushed as if they were trying to get out the door. The space is aesthetically pleasing and has beautiful chairs, but unfortunately the chairs don't recline and the overall service did not match the presentation. Social media presence and follower count don't always reflect service quality. Overall, it felt like a waste of money and not an experience I would repeat. I have been here too many times and I did give it a chance, but....I can no longer be quiet: The man in the front is fake to all the customers and someone needs to let him know. I stood there as he helped paying customers. He was fawning over the great work that someone had done on her nails. He had another customer that needed to pay, and as soon as the 1st customer walked out he started that whole routine again and it made me realize, its an act for the business. Hell I even bought into the first few times. I am disappointed because what I thought this place would look like vs the reviews who said its great, The plus of this place your offered champagne. The aesthetics are outdated, its not a clean nail salon. The ceiling is in need of repair, the AC was leaking when I was there on one appointment, the pedicure stations are so uncomfortable, and outdated. 1 pedicure and maybe the department of health should inspect the odor coming from the water. The worst is all of the flowers. Did the decorator go to Michaels and buy all of the faded wilted flowers they could find. They need to be vacuumed or replaced to remove the dust. If your looking to see any pricing posted dont bother looking for any. This is how it works. You get 1 design or 10 depends on the work and time the tech puts into the work.. I have had the same thing done each time. The cost was between $60 if the girl was at the desk, or if the man was there it would be $85 sometimes more. The money this place is making does not go towards the shop from the way it looks. Its a shame, I was hoping for MUCH more from a place that everyone talks about. read more

I'm in from Chicago and visiting friends in Punta Gorda. Hands down (pun intended) this was the BEST manicure that I've ever had courtesy of Eli. She was precise and gentle. She did an ombré french manicure and it was BOMB! And not to be overlooked is Sidney at the front desk. She is welcoming, bubbly, and kind. The owner, Danny, came in later and he's a whole mood! not very impressed with Pinque nail bar. I had 4 in my group for pedicures. Only one of the tech's was friendly. I had several skin abrasions on my toes and side of foot from the roughness when filing my toes. She should have used a smaller file. Before applying the polish she said she used an acetone and brush on my toes to finish with the clean up. VERY painful!! i gave them tips because they did the job but I will never return. This is by far the best nail salon in south FL. I moved here a year ago and I have tired a lot of them and after coming here, no need to look for anymore. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is so friendly, and just make you feel right at home the moment you walk in. I have been looking forward to coming here for a very long time so I was pretty disappointed when I had a bad experience.. The pedicure/manicure was overpriced and I probably had my feet in the water for about 3-5 mins. The massage was maybe 2 mins long. 3 days after my gel manicure it's already chipping. I came in as part of a bridal party and when I was offered a drink I asked for water. The manager kept forgetting and we asked him about 3 times. Eventually my manicurist had to get up and get me some water. Another girl in the party had gotten acrylics and one broke off that night. Just overall disappointed that it was more expensive than your average nail salon and my nails are starting to chip. The girls were nice and decor nice, but will not be returning. UPDATE: It's been 6 days since my manicure and multiple nails are chipping. The manager has reached out to me and sincerely apologized and offered me a credit. I have been there twice. The first time I went, they gave me somebody who literally must have just finished nail school. My nails were all different shapes and she filed the ends after she finished putting on the gels and I had white tips on each nail. So the next time I thought I would try somebody different and I went to KAT. She had no patience for me and was on her phone the entire time worrying about who was texting her. She seemed annoyed that I asked questions regarding my nails. She rushed my pedicure so fast and I had paid for a deluxe type of pedicure. My nails only lasted one week and I was so frustrated when I left there that I'm never going back there again. I didn't see one person working there with a good personality, everybody seems annoyed all the time. A total waste of money twice. read more

I had high hopes for this places given the reviews but I left frustrated. All I needed was my previous gel removed and a manicure with new gel. I was there for 90" and my nails look ok. I wanted French but the tech (who did not seem experienced) told me my nails were stained red and this would show through. I know that's not the case. My nail shape and length is inconsistent and my cuticles were not trimmed. The place was very crowded and loud. I don't think they will be getting another chance with me. read more

I would understand if I were not working from home or otherwise but I'm 5 days 1 broke and 8 days 3 broke off. Very bad work all times I have went in. And I'm disappointed. No stars. Worst nail experience ever in my life. Apparently I had an amateur just learning and while I understood she had never done an ombre look before and the nails ended up looking like when I let my friends practice on my nails. She completed the job, but they were so bulky and looked ridiculous, one could tell it was not professional, but according to the nail tech that was the best she could do and I would have to live with it. I was even more shocked when I got to the register and they wanted $75 for my ombre fill. I told them I would pay, but no way was I paying full price for amateur looking nails. I would pay the tech as she did take time but I did not end up with professional looking nails and it was the second time I had this tech. The first time I paid $75 for a new set. Now, the second visit was $75 too? How does this make any sense? No, I will pay what I think the service was worth because in my eyes, it was not professional work. Period. I was not happy with the service, was willing to pay what I felt was fair because I had no interest in going back and taking more of my time going with another tech. There are too many nail salons to choose from for me to continue on with amateur hour. They lost my trust, no way was I going to spend even MORE of my time having them remove my nails either, which was their answer to me being unhappy. I also want to mention I wonder if they ever clean those nasty UV lights. No one was required to wash their hands before the service which always creeps me out. Looks cute in photos, a bit dumpy in real life located in a filthy strip mall with poor parking the music was so loud i had a hard time hearing my tech talk tech didnt have knowledge of basic acrylic styles, only trendy styles stools were uncomfortable and I had to sit sideways because their nail bar can not accomodate tall people due to the unadjustable seating.(i'm 6'+) charged me $10 for a take off and $70 for french acrylic, ok thats fine but then she used tips instead of sculpting, didnt have any nude base to match my skin tone, and tried to PAINT the french tip on. she tried to fix the off-color acrylic by offering to paint it with a shimmery pink (?????) I declined and asked to start over with a solid glitter acrylic, she did not want to start over and agreed to do the tip color set in acrylic as opposed to painting it like we had agreed to in the beginning considering a pink and white set is $65 this didnt make sense to me. she cut me several times with the dremel and trashed my cuticles the design and style of the tips are not what I wanted(i should have brought a picture to her she said), the nails are poorly shaped with no apex and already had to be removed to avoid injuring myself. throughout the almost THREE hour appointment I was passively antagonized by several other employees with faceteous "oh dont you just love those nails!", im assuming because I kept complaining. The manager then took three phone calls as I waited up front to pay ive been having acrylics done every 2 weeks for almost 20 years and heard so many great things about this place lets just say, lesson learned. No stars. Red flag! Not going back because of the unhealthy (and scary) conditions of the facility. Ceiling caving in, air conditioner not working. Not a safe environment for the staff or clients. I was a client for over 2 years (pedicure) and this place and the staff were awesome but last time (before Thanksgiving) I was there things were falling apart. I was especially concerned with a pregnant technician who almost got struck when a rack in the back room fell over. My technician has since left this place and I will be following her. I've also heard that there has been a huge turnover in staff which is a red flag! read more

Called pinque salon on 5-1 -- 2 days after my appointment to notify that my gel polish was already getting scuffed & looking dull, & that I paid for services I didn't actually receive (acrylic overlay instead of a fill in with gel). I requested 10% off my next appointment since I didn't actually get what I wanted & the receptionist apologized that there was a huge mixup & that the owner would call me back. 5 days later, no word. That's why I'm leaving the review. When I asked the nail tech (sophia) if she had ANYTHING but gel she said no. Come to find out, they do offer other colors that are not gel (which I knew better) but this girl just wanted me the hell out of there. The gel color selection isn't impressive & I HATE gel because it doesn't stay fresh for long but this nail tech couldn't have cared less what I wanted. The lady sitting right next to me got the dip?/powder acrylic color (exactly what I asked for) but it wasn't offered to me when I asked. Why???? The truth is that this salon entices customers with its GORGEOUS, feminine decor & very friendly customer service to compensate for their incompetence. Sounds harsh, I know... but its true. The owner is warm & friendly & the  atmosphere is lovely, but the service needs work. If I'm off base, then why would the OWNER let me leave unhappy when I TOLD him that Sophia not only misunderstood what service I was getting so she started cutting my nails off, but THEN I was charged for their mistake & only offered gel color when I specifically said I didnt want gel??? Is that good customer service??? And why on earth would a competent nail tech think that my nails need to be removed when I told her that I need a fill in over acrylic??? How hard is that to understand??? If I owned that place there is no WAY I would let my customer leave not totally satisfied & I would apologize on her behalf. I'm a reasonable person -- I know people make mistakes, have bad days, etc, but I'm not calling a third time about this when I shouldn't have even had to say it twice. However, and this may be my own mistake but don't go if you are looking for just a manicure with a non gel paint. I took my mom and sister to get manicures. We all work in jobs we can not have gel nails but we were on girls weekend vacation and thought getting our nails painted would be fun. Experience definitely was fun however we paid 25.00 per person without tip to get our nails shaped, scrub and massage and painted (not gel) It is called a Nailespresso + Rum. Two hours later my nails were chipped and the job was about as good as I could have done myself. My mom and sis agreed. We could have went and bought new nail colors and painted each other's for the same price and quality. I hope their gel and acrylic experience is better. Just not worth 25.00.
