This is hands down the best nail place I've ever been to. I driven around 45min to three hours (I go to college in Wisconsin) for this place and I've been going here for years : proms, graduations etc. every single person here takes their absolute time and will fix your nails (as long as you don't exit) to make sure they are exactly how you want it to be. They are also friendly to your real nails and their pedicures are to die for. If you have crusty , dry , aching feet; this is the place for you!! It also great if you're balling on a budget and don't mind a little hood. The things I'm not really fan of but still think it's worth it Are : the smell, the lack of seating and the wait. I went for the first time because an aunt had recommended the place. I choose a color and they give a totally different color. When I told them about it, there answer was, "it's the same color but it looks different in the book because it's just too old and we are trying to get rid of the colors". Therefore I responded, "well then if the book is old and not the exact color as showed in the example book, then why not get rid of it right away?" And then they replied, "the color still looks nice on you". I said, "yes but it's not what I paid for. I asked for this color thinking it's the same color (because it's logic...)". He then ignored me and changed my nails. I give them two stars because of that. I'm not a fan of driving down Kedzie because for as long as I can remember there has been some type of construction going on and it's just a Hot mess. But because I received a generous gift certificate I thought I'd bear down and bite the bullet and get there alive. I was the first customer there at 10:15 a.m. and the guy who was setting up for the day was surprised to see me but quickly dropped what he was doing to set up my pedicure chair. I was impressed at how clean and modern the salon appeared and the guy who took care of me was so thorough and patient. He did an amazing job on my pedicure and manicure. Plenty of parking as it is in a shopping center area. Bonus: TJ. MAxx is right next door! I wish this place was closer to me but if I can spend some quality time with my sister I may treat her next time. Mani and Pedi for 32$ NOT BAD! Nice place...give it a try! read more

This place gets packed pretty easily but they do their best to accommodate everyone. Everyone is saying they have bad customer service but they're simply trying their best to get everyone serviced. All I can say is that I've been looking for a nail salon around here and they've all been horrible. This place is in decent condition considering the location. I got the best no chip and pedicure here that I've had in a very, very long time. The guy that did my no chip literally took only 20-25 minutes and they still came out perfect. He was great and I'll definitely be going back to him. They had a promo going on- if you spend over $50 you get a lotion or a pair of sandals. So I got a beautiful mani and pedi and a free lotion! The only bad thing was that I went on a Saturday morning and there was literally a line before the place even opened. They open at 10 but the owners didn't even get there until 10:30, I'm assuming that's why there was a line. Your best bet would be to go on a weekday. I have given this, please hours of my life waiting because they do such a great job. What I mean is, anytime I go and get my nails and feet done. I know that I have to cancel my plans for the day. I know the place opens at 10 AM, but normally the nail techs arrive around 11 AM and by then there are at least a good 10 or 15 people already waiting. Everything was great until it was time for the nail art. I had them apply some diamonds and they fell off the same night! I went back, they were super accommodating they added new diamonds. We came in right at opening time because they always look packed. I'm glad we did this because there were about 4 people already there too. We waited about 10 minutes and then we were all tended too. Prices are good. $30 for my no-chip. $30 for my mom's fill-in because 2 nails had fallen off. And $15 for my niece's basic mani. I wish I could give less than 1 star. Lately, their attention to detail has been horrible. I get acrylic full sets and they only last me one week, before they would stay attached for 2.5-3 weeks. Also, on a Saturday, I showed up with my mom and sister at about 9:45, they're opening time on the sign said 10am. When we got there, there was already a line of about 2-3 people. However, no one was there to open at 10am. They did not open until 10:45. 10:45!! 45 minutes later than the time that appears on the sign. Seriously, horrible customer service. I gave it an extra star simply because the lady who attended me did her job well. I don't come here often because the wait is simply ridiculous. I waited 1hr 15 mins before there was someone available to start my pedicure. Insane!! Every single manicure table was full and there was someone waiting in every single of the eight pedicure chairs. while all manicures where being taken care of in a more reasonable manner, there was only two people doing pedicures at one point! They should either staff appropriately or figure out a system to ensure they take care of people on a first come first serve basis. They didn't take off my clear polish I had on, so to make it smooth they put on a thick 3 coats. My nails weren't filed completely evenly. And the place was not very clean (worn disposable sandals laying around, nail dust everywhere, etc). Worst of all, the massage did not feel like anything.
