After twenty-seven years, the wife and I decided it was time for a kitchen remodel. Our designer,…read moreRobin Ebding from Eye4Design, said there is only one place to buy our quartz countertop - Stone Living. We took her word and ended up with a fabulous quartz countertop. Our Stone Living sales contact was Allie and Victor in operations. If you've ever remodeled a kitchen or anything, nothing seems to move along as scheduled. We actually got out custom cabinets installed early and needed our countertop sooner than planned. Victor and his crew did the counter templates, Allie got the slab in early. We met at Stone Living with Robin, Allie and Victor to select the specific pieces of the slab for each area of the kitchen countertop. Delivery by Victors crew was seamless. Our beautiful Vadara - Bianco Molasa quartz countertop is gorgeous, the kitchen is beautiful, our friends and neighbors, I think, are envious, we love it! Thanks again to Allie, Victor and Stone Living.

Both times it took three weeks just to get to accurate estimate and at each turn the salesperson made sure to tell me and our designer that it was our fault they were delayed. In both cases we had the stone and all we needed was for them to pick it up, fabricate and install. Needless to say we completed the first job with great effort on our part. The second job we have just pulled from them because they misread drawings and the quote went up 400%.

The finish and colors were just right and also a very durable finish. I had them build a combination section of a place to fit a range with cabinets on one side and a built in bench seating, with storage, on the other side. I added blue striped bench cushions. This made it nice to put a table in front of the benches. Basim, the owner is great to work with and understood what I wanted and designed it very well. We are enjoying it so much and would totally recommend him and his whole staff to do a great job!!

We originally just planned a countertop for the kitchen island, all the sides would just be wood…read more Then we found a piece of labradorite lemurian that we absolutely felt in love with and decided the front of the island would also used the same piece. And we would use the cutout from the cooker as a backsplash for our coffee bar. But the slab was a little too short and had a missing corner. The backsplash would also be short by a couple of inches. This is where Frank and his skilled crew come in. Frank gave us very helpful suggestions on moving the electrical outlets. We had some wacky ideas on dealing with the missing corner and the too short backsplash. Frank was very patient with us and suggested patching the missing parts instead. He also sent a crew to thicken the plywood for the countertop for better support. He also added reinforcement on the slab. Turns out labradorite lemurian is on the fragile side. The end results were amazing. I know there's a patch, but I can't find it. We also compared the raw slab with the countertop. They didn't just cut the slab to size and installed them, but there was some thoughts and designs on what looked best. Extra shoutout to his crews for being detail oriented and professional.
