Nada is one of my all-time favorite restaurants! You should definitely get a reservation if you're trying to go a weekend evening, because it definitely gets busy. Last night I was there for a birthday party so they sat us in the raised little party room at the smaller table. This was nice because there was plenty of room for everyone and it was a little quieter up there so we could all talk. We always order a pitcher of margaritas when we're here. They have their house recipe on draft and they're super delicious. 1 pitcher would serve 6 people. Another staple is the salsa trio and the guac. Everything is fresh and absolutely delicious. Be careful, though. While the chips and salsa is free refills, the guac is not and they will often bring you more without asking. For my meal I got the Mac and Cheese. It comes in a little skillet and it perfectly melty and cheesy. It's super filling, especially if you've been eating chips and salsa, so don't be fooled by the relatively small size of the dish. Nada is a little more pricey than I'd normally want to pay for a dinner, but it's absolutely worth every penny. Our server was incredibly attentive to our guest with a severe gluten allergy, and to the birthday of another guest (tell them it's your birthday and you get free churros for the whole table.) The food is great, the service is great, and the restaurant itself is stunning. and will be back for sure! read more

Gordon Ramsay, please visit this place... it's a nightmare! I had not been here for a really long time. The last time i went it was very nice, good food, good drinks. This time not so much. We had a reservation for dinner before a concert... while waiting for my friend to meet me, I ordered a margarita, which took about 25 minutes to show up :(. So much for enjoying a cocktail while i wait. The food was so salty it could not be eaten and the presentation/ quality of my friend's carne asada tacos was depressing. I could provide specific scenarios, but really don't want to relive this lackluster experience. Our poor server, Erin, had to hear patrons complaining all night.... she's a trooper. We heard the management had recently changed... hopefully they can get it together. I gave it a second star, because they did recognize the poor quality and did not charge us for drinks or our meal. read more

My go to spot to grab drinks and food before events in Arena District. The margaritas are excellent. Also a big fan of all the dips. The tacos come on a plate of 3, my only complaint is that you cannot mix and match--but it's easy to swap with a friend. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. read more

We come here every time we're in Columbus for a concert. It's amazing. Sit at the bar and Sally will take excellent care of you. Everything she has recommended has been fire. We will keep coming back for sure. read more

Reviewing food is so subjective BUT after twice trying NADA, this wanna be high scale Mexican restaurant doesn't come close to ones that offer a true, high quality Mexican experience- not even close. The decor is nice, the servers we have had were very nice but the negatives that I experienced were limited choices and average tasting food at incredibly high prices for what you get. As a reference point three of us had the enchilada with chicken that we all thought was tasteless and extremely dry. I always finish my food but not this time. As there are many good reviews, give it a shot and try it for yourself. read more

MAKE A RESERVATION Ok, now that that's out of the way :-) The food was great (I had the crispy pork belly tacos), and the prickly pear margarita was delicious. The place isn't cheap, but pretty reasonable for the Arena District. However, I hope you're not planning to have a conversation between more than two people, because this place is LOUD. It seems to echo and magnify conversations, which sucks when it's crowded, and the music is too loud to try to ignore. If you can basically talk into each other's ears, it's fine, but talking across a table required almost-shouting. read more

Nada Mac & Cheese= heaven. It may seem like a small portion but you could totally get away with a small app like chips and salsa and the Mac & Cheese dish. The Mac & Cheese is full of gooey, warm cheeses and very mild jalapeños. It is crusted and delicious. To start, we ordered the double guac and salsa. Their double is a very small portion, I wouldn't want to know what a single looked like. I'm not a guacamole fan but the salsa was phenomenal. The chips are some of the best I've ever had, I couldn't put the tray down. Our waiter was excellent. He was very professional and nice. He even put up with our request to take a picture of us. Kudos!! The decor is warm and inviting. I love the chunky wooden tables. It is very easy to find within the Arena District and close to other bars such as BigBang. I am not a big fan of Mexican so I'm very thankful for the Mac and Cheese dish and the fried chicken although I did not try it. However, if you do love Mexican, the enchiladas do look tasty and the menu is full of options. They do have other options not on the menu, such as cheese quesadillas, if you ask. read more

Nada is definitely a welcome (and much needed) addition to the Arena District. Bf & I decided to try Nada for a fun boozy brunch. I was already familiar with the prices and portions before walking in so I was prepared to spend a bit more than the typical brunch. I made a reservation via Open Table (through Yelp), called an Uber and we were on our way. The building exterior is really gorgeous and I'm obsessed with the red stained wood. It smelled over-the-top smoky, which I didn't like but once we got inside it was fine. The interior is well done and suitable for groups large or small. We got lucky and got to sit in the semi-private seating at the back of the restaurant, perched a bit above the main floor so we could spy on everyone. Every host and server we interacted with was top notch. Friendly, helpful and the right amount of conversational. We started with Chips, Salsa ($2) & Guacamole ($7). The chips are thicker and a little greasy, but I was into it. Unfortunately we must've gotten the bottom of the barrel because we had tiny little miniature chips. The guacamole is very good and I love the slices of jicama they serve with it. I would like about 12 of those instead of 2. For our mains, we each ordered Barbacoa tacos (2 for $10) and split a side of Mexican Mac & Cheese ($8). Everything was so so tasty and I liked the tacos much more than I expected (there weren't many veggies and I usually load it up). Honestly we couldn't tell the difference between the regular and the spicy, maybe they forgot one was supposed to be diablo style? At first I was afraid we wouldn't have enough food (he's a vacuum) but we had the perfect amount. Also, the Mac & Cheese was addicting, I could have slammed my face into the bowl, but I'm a lady. Ah, yes, the cocktails. We ended up on a little tour around the cocktail menu and loved every. single. one. Run down: - Bloody Maria ($7): Bloody Mary with Tequila. Great twist on a standard. - Sparkling Grapefruit ($7): Small, but tasty. Sweet, but not overly so. - Tequila Sunrise ($6): Thought it was weak at first. Nope, just well made. - Peach Fuzz ($6): YUM THIS TASTES LIKE VACATION GET ME ON A BEACH - Velvet Underground ($8): Most interesting cocktail of the bunch. Sour, but I kept wanting more. I definitely can't wait to brunch here again! read more

Came in for brunch on Arnold classic weekend. Brought my mother and her husband who drove from Toledo and she has a scheduled spinal surgery next week. I put that down on a reservation for a booth and when I called, Mary answered the phone with questions about what my mom liked. I mentioned she liked Star Wars and nerdy stuff. After an amazing tasting French toast brunch with quac queso with mimosas they brought her gift basket out. She tried to hold back tears and how amazing this staff was. I would do anything for her to feel special like they made her feel today. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you again to the whole staff, Conner our waiter, Mary who did everything and honestly Everyone. read more

Watch out, Bakersfield, Nada's here and contending for the top trendy, upscale Mexican in town. Actually, forget Mexican, this place is just snazzy in general. We were there on Saturday for lunch before most of the customers started filing in, so we got to get a good look at all the interior and funky decor. The girlfriend and I loved it. Our server, and I forget her name, was super helpful and enthusiastic in going over the menu and making recommendations. She was a bit slow at times with the refills, especially since it wasn't busy at all, but I can forgive her for that, because the food was incredible. I decided to leave the pastor tacos for the girlfriend and went with the bacon and egg (pork belly) tacos. In the meantime, we got the guacamole, and it was delicious. My girlfriend liked it more than Bakersfield's, but I'd say they're about on par with each other. However, the homemade chips may have a slight edge here. They were awesome, and I like the fact that the guacamole actually comes with salsa as well. Our food came out pretty quick, and I was not expecting an over-easy egg on top of my pork belly tacos, but I like where their heads at. As soon as I folded it up, the yolk spread out all over the pork belly, combining with the pickled peppers and onions and diablo salsa, forming an incredible taste sensation. The habanero salsa on the table was combined with carrots to form a bright orange color, and it was fantastic on the tacos, giving them a huge kick. My girlfriend now wants to make it at home, because she loved it so much. She was also a huge fan of her pastor tacos. Along with the tacos, we split an order of Mexican mac 'n cheese, and I'm a huge fan of anything with roasted poblano and jalapenos, so that was a winner for me. I thought the two tacos wouldn't be enough food, but I was pretty full by the time I started eating mac 'n cheese and really had to muscle it down. The pricing here is my only gripe. You're going to pay more than you would at Bakersfield, and you're quite far from the trendier area of the Short North. However, I feel the tacos at Nada are slightly bigger and edge out what I had at Bakersfield but only slightly. I'm not sure how busy this place actually gets, but I doubt you'd have to wait nearly as long as you do at Bakersfield. My girlfriend officially loves this spot more, so I'm sure we'll be back, and that's not a problem here, since I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. read more

A nicer take on Mexican fare - Nada fancies it up. Their guacamole is hella good. Seriously, eat it with the jicama. It's the perfect fresh crunch to go along with the guac. Always order the double ($12). A margarita is a requirement, I kept my order basic with the a classic 'rita, salt on the rim. It comes in a high ball glass and one lasted me through dinner. Baja battered fish tacos were my meal of choice. $15 gets you 3 hearty tacos with corn tortillas (no sides) but I was full to the max after that meal. Loved that they paired it with some guacamole. I haven't had that with fish tacos in the past and it's a good complement to the overall flavor. The decor is all intentional with little surprises tucked inside the seemingly elegant wallpaper and fabrics. It's like an adult version of the game, "I spy...". Plus, their secret party room is unreal. I'd book that for a birthday party or bachelorette in a heartbeat. read more

Nada means "nothing" in Spanish and in this case it means "when you finish your first drink you will get nothing and like it". To be fair, there's a lot of good going on here...guacamole, margs, tile on the floor is pretty, "banos" are clean..Baja tacos are delicious. Bad things here...well one main thing however other things fall under the same pretty little drink umbrella...THE SERVICE. Empty margarita glasses...empty water glass. I'd imagine if I were someone that liked non alcoholic beverages my Pepsi glass would have been empty too. I love tequilla. I love margaritas. When my glass is empty I'm sad and when I'm sad I cry. Therefore, Nada makes me cry. read more

Now that I've visited twice, I can honestly say, WHAT a great restaurant addition to Columbus, and to the Arena District. I first went for a UYE last week and we were seated at the big table in the bar area. Servers were on top of their game, and we even got a cool tour by a manager. We saw the hidden party room, and fun features in the men's room that aren't in the ladie's. The servers even come brush crumbs off the table after dishes were cleared. We sampled the salsa trio (love the chips), guacamole, and queso with black beans at the bottom. MIke G. and I split the fish tacos and the shrimp tacos, which were both excellent. I ordered the Nada fries, which are seasoned fried potatoes, and I tasted the pureed black beans side. All wonderful. Last night I met 3 friends for dinner; it was their first time and all liked it very much. I had the salmon tacos which were even better than the previously mentioned tacos. I plan to get them again next visit. Our server was great. They try very hard here, and succeed in giving a lovely dining experience. Perfection: the food, the service, the atmosphere, the seating, the location. If you go after 6 pm, parking in the garage behind it is free. read more

I'm a sucker for good Mexican food... and Nada had me at Hola. I've eaten here three times now and each time I've thoroughly enjoyed my meal. My favorites: - The Salsa Tasting Trio: The chips are light, flakey and unlike any chips I've ever had. The salsas = amazing! - The grilled salmon tacos - The carnitas tacos - The pastor tacos - All of their margaritas I'm pretty sure that once I make my way through the rest of the menu, the entire menu will be listed as my favorites. Everything is fresh and flavorful. The service is always great as well! Today, we stopped in for lunch and Griffin was our server. My friend has an allergy to onions & peppers that made it hard for her to order from the menu. Griffin had the chef prepare a special batch of guacamole for us that had no onions or peppers. It was delish! He also helped her to create an order for tacos that weren't on the menu so that she could enjoy the Nada flavors without any worry of an allergic reaction. We will definitely be requesting Griffin to be our server when we visit Nada again. He was the sweetest ! The Atmosphere is funky and fun, but the bathrooms are probably my favorite of any restaurant. My next visit will be for brunch after seeing the pics of the pork belly & fried egg taco! read more

I like places which offer mouth watering cuisine and dishes and also give you the dinner date feel! And my friends this is one of that cool restaurants in columbus downtown that you would dig for. Nada is full points on its decor and its limited menu options. I guess its like a new thing restaurants are doing to make sure the taste and quality of the items in their menu remains consistent and popular. Drinks here are alright but dont mistake me for it being horrible. Its just that the experience i received in food and feel of that evening, drinks lacked that luster. So coming to the food 1. Mex'Orean Fried Chicken- you have to try it and i am sure you will love it- 5/5 2. Guacamole, Chips and Salsa- chips were little thick. The texture of something which i like- 4/5 3. Butternut Squash Soup- Probably the best soup you may try this winter in a Mexican restaurant-5/5 4. Baja Fish Tacos- They were average for me considering everything that overwhelmed me - 3.5/5 5. Braised Chicken Enchiladas- Juicy, cheesy and just amazing entree you may have tried, it was something new-4/5 6. Caramelized Vanilla Bean Cheesecake- This was so delicious that i am ready to declare this place as a "go to" for just this dessert. -5/5 They sure know how to treat you on your special occasions, so make sure you let them know when you book a table for you and your party! read more

I would give it a zero if I could. Honestly the hosts were rude as can be and acted as if they would rather us not be there. The whole place was filthy and the drinks were so expensive and sickeningly sweet. We waited over an hour for a table and there were empty seats everywhere which tells me they can't manage effectively.I would avoid at all costs. Simply cannot rave enough about Nada Columbus! Delicious Contemporary Mexican cuisine, with a fun and energizing environment, and amazing staff that goes out of their way to ensure you enjoy your experience. Definitely worth checking out! They were totally booked on opening night and the energy radiating from the restaurant was so inviting. The Grilled Salmon Tacos are to die for! Tender grilled salmon with a lime crema and corn pico, all put into s corn tortilla. Give it a try- you won't regret it! The Guacamole & Queso are a go to, for sure! The Queso has a black bean purée at the bottom which gives it a uniqueness you won't find anywhere else. read more

Nada...can I just say how much I loved this place? I went for our awesome CM, Bryant ' one year anniversary party (thanks again Mike G for setting up). The place is beyond gorgeous...probably my very favorite setting in all of columbus. I mean...the bar area where we sat was cool casual and comfortable and the dining room was so modern and chic. I loved the wood walled "arched" entry to that room. So dramatic and beautiful! The the private dining areas, especially the "birdcage", I could live in there. And the bathrooms...totally cool...can your decorator please come do my house? I ordered three tacos. At our server, Adams recommendation,I ordered the pork belly and salmon tacos. I also ordered the fish (I think cod) tacos. Let me tell you...the fish taco was very good but the other two beyond delicious! I mean totally over the top so good! I loved them and can't wait to go back for more. We also had chips and salsa and guacamole...all very good as well, especially the guac. Someone ordered soup...pumpkin or squash that looked really good. I would like to try that too. The service...these guys really went all out to take care is us. And I don't think it was because we were a group of yelpers. They all, especially Adam and Molly, seemed to genuinely want to take care of us and make everything perfect, which it was. In talking with Molly after most of the group was gone, I learned of the restaurant's customer service philosophy and hiring practices. I was super impressed as I know there have been times when a mediocre meal becomes something entirely different just based on the service...these guys really seem to have it together. Looking forward to my next visit...Hope it's soon! read more

Recently just visited here for a friend's birthday. Inside has tons of seating for huge parties which is great because there was about 16 of us. We went on a weekday so didn't have a wait and it wasn't too crowded when we got there around 6PM. There's also a hourly parking garage nearby that wasn't too expensive. The inside was cute and I felt cozy especially since half of the seating was a booth! The server was nice and came to check up on us often, which I appreciated. I got the al pastor tacos and they were pretty tasty. A little pricey compared to other places though. If you're hungry then I would suggest getting some apps to share because it will definitely not fill you up. Some of us split the queso and I wasn't a huge fan because it tasted too cheesy for me, but my friend loved it. Would probably come back to try their other tacos and get a drink since I didn't get a chance to at this visit. read more

Went to Nada today because my lady is seriously obsessed with tacos, and it was some seriously good mexican! We went for brunch and it was unique/delicious. I ordered the eggs benedicto, with crab + avocado holindase sauce and it was teriffic and very fresh. I did not taste as much crab as i was hoping but that was perfectly fine. My lady got the egg and pork belly tacos, and she was the winner. They were some of not only the best breakfast tacos but tacos ive ever had in general! So good. The portions dont look that large when youre served but thats deceiving, i was very full and satisfied when we left. We also got the guacamole to start, and it was as good as id expect from a restaurant like this. Its a pretty nice environment, not your run of the mill mexican restaurant but a little more up-scale and i enjoyed it! A good change of pace. But be careful... They have pretty fair prices but with a couple drinks and sides we racked up a pretty nice bill in a pretty quick time! read more

I was introduced this joint by way of a Yelp UYE. The restaurant hadn't even been open a full month. It was an enjoyable evening! Good atmosphere; food; employees. I'll start with the decor. At first glance, this place looks to be quite sophisticated. Later in the night, the Manager took our group on a tour, pointing out what stands them apart: Subtle humorous details throughout the joint that let the customer relax and have a laugh :) For instance: Skulls in the paisley-print chair cloth; a giant T rex head in the men's restrooms. The bold, bright colors used in this place are a personal favorite!! I arrived solo, and was promptly greeted upon walking in. Adam, our waiter, was an awesome gentleman. Very polite and conversational. Good personality, too! He gave a quick gist of the menu, and always seemed to check in with us at the right moments. The establishment provided complementary chips and salsa, guacamole and Queso dip for us to try. I'm impressed. The Queso dip and homemade chips was very flavorful. It had a bit of spicy to it, but nothing that killed the cheese flavor. Mmmm!! I tried some of the guac, but I thought it was slightly too salty of a taste. I ordered the Grilled Chicken tacos. Best thing about em? I could taste the chicken haha. A good amount of strips in each tiny wrap. I was especially drawn to trying this dish because the chicken tacos came with "black bean purée". I couldn't really taste it (assuming there just wasn't enough onthe tacos to stand out), and after bringing this up with Adam, he quickly offered to ringer out a complimentary side dish of the purée so I could judge it by itself. Not too spicy hot. I could definitely taste the beans. It had a "sweet" lasting taste I my mouth. Overall, this was a fantastic event put together by Mike and my tummy was satisfied :) read more

Update: this is my 2nd time visiting Nada after my first experience & it was totally different. I never wanted to give up on this place because I truly believed that it was just one of those days. I arrived around 4:30pm which is hAppy Hour time. The drinks were great, the service from my waiter was impeccable. He was attentive & always walked by to ask if I needed anything else. I was waiting for a friend who was running late so I got the chance to just relax & really pay attention to the entire feel of the restaurant. I started out with the Salsa Trip which included three different kind of salsa to go with it. They were all tasty btw. I almost finished it all before my friend got there. I also had the Chicken Quesadilla which blew me away. The presentation itself with the flag on top was the cutest thing ever. I'll be stopping more often for sure. read more

First time visitor after hockey game. Good service, nice decor and the chicken tacos were great.

As an aficionado of tacos and tequila, I am thrilled for Cincinnati's nada to join the scene. First impression walking in, excellent decor. The hostess greeted us promptly with a smile. As I was just scoping the place out, I headed to the bar. Bartender Jennifer navigated me through the drinks and I went for the chile-mango margarita. A+ nada!!! Ancho salt rim was better than a cherry on top. I thoroughly read the menu, but must return soon for the culinary treats as I had big dinner plans. On my radar: beet and goat cheese salad, pastor tacos, and tamales. I'll be back nada Cbus. read more

It's busy and loud. The menu is minimal. The drinks are small and costly. I ordered the $16 taco dish. I got three tacos, no sides, presented very nicely. The taco tortilla was cold and hard, it was filled to the max. Did I say they were $16 for three. I think I'll stick with a taco truck, Chipotle, or El Camino. Our server Jessica was top notch, ask for her! PS. We had to pay for chips and salsa. Really. It was an endless supply however, and the chips/salsa were very good. read more

Sad to see such inconsistencies with the menu and food preparation here. Don't fix whats not broken. It started when they stopped serving warm chips. That was a bummer, but we went ahead and continued to visit. Now you've completely changed your chicken tacos. I am sad to say that I will not be returning, as I don't even recognize the food that I once loved. Total bummer. read more

For all Columbus food pictures, follow @cbusfoodauthority. I've been waiting so long for the Columbus location to open and it did not disappoint!! I was nervous that it wouldn't be as good as the original, but they've brought up some of the chefs and servers from Cincinnati to ensure the same (or better) Nada experience. I ordered my usual pork belly tacos plus shredded cheese and they were on point. My dining companion added a fried egg to one, a trick I learned during a Nada brunch a few years ago. They are definitely our favorite menu item. We also tried the four cheese queso and it was very good, enough for four people. If you want to try a mix of their tacos, I believe you can order them a la carte for $6.50 each, although it's not an option listed on the menu. Our server, Lita, came up from the Cincinnati location to help train and she was very helpful in recommending drinks. We tried the pink grapefruit margarita and the mango margarita. Both were sweet and we preferred the grapefruit. My one pet peeve with Nada is that they charge for chips and salsa. Their chips are phenomenal, but I personally don't think any Mexican restaurant should charge for salsa. It's like an Italian restaurant charging for bread. read more

Sorry, Bakersfield, El Camino and Local Cantino...I think you've been one-upped! I dined at Nada for Restaurant Week last night and I was super impressed! I made a reservation for me and my gang for 7pm at Open Table. We ended up getting there about 30 minutes early and they were able to seat us right away which was great. For the five us, we had a huge table that allowed us to spread out and really enjoy our meal. The atmosphere was warm and possessed the Latin energy that gave the space an authentic feel. The restaurant is very large and has a great patio that I am looking forward to trying out this summer. Now, about the food: since it was restaurant week, I had the chance to try four things. The first thing I tried was the guacamole and it was delicious. I also had the goat cheese and beet salad and it was superb. I loved the complex flavors and anything with goat cheese is a win for me. My main entree was the chicken taco meal and it was so tasty. Two of my other friends had them as well and we all loved them. The other two members of the group had the fried honey chicken and they couldn't stop raving about it. Finally, for dessert, I tried the raspberry lemon sherbet and it did not disappoint! Can't wait to come back again! The location has made this my future events at Nationwide Arena more exciting! I'm already looking forward to stopping in before the next hockey game. Kudos to Nada! read more

I finally made it back! And everything was just awesome. Maybe they had an off day my first visit. And you know what? I can accept that. I've had 4 off days this week... Well the service was super efficient and friendly this time. Which sometimes I can appreciate more than the food! Speaking of food. The chips...get out of here! I could eat 7,000 of them, they are so light and crispy. I'm still not a fan of the queso which my brother got. I still feel like the food is a strange mix of reinvented authentic. I'm just picky about Mexican food I suppose having lived there. For sure well made and thoughtful. Nonetheless it's a great atmosphere and I'll be back again and again:) Service was whack. Every beer I wanted was gone. The beer was served sort of cold. Waited for ever for anything. The queso was more like ranch queso. I just will never be back the cincy location is lightyears bet Edit: willing to go back for another try. The general manager reached out to me to understand what happened which is more than I asked for. I simply asked for my check after drinks and apps than sit thru what would have been a struggle dinner. I'm sure next time will be better :) read more

I thought I was going to die when our waitress said they don't have the fajitas. I also highly recommend the lemonada (lemonade, vodka and muddled blueberries) and the sparkling sangria. Love the ambiance and is good for dates or large groups, dressing up or going casual. I have to say that this place was great! A few friends told me about it, but every time that we considered it the wait was outrageous. Tonight, there was no wait, and we were off to ordering in no time! The waiter was fantastic, super cool hair, great sense of humor, and provided great recommendations! We landed on the queso- tinga, chicken enchiladas, crispy potatoes, and tacos. The queso was SoOoOoO goOoOod- seriously get it! The enchiladas came highly recommended, but was a bit too salty for me, potatoes- good, and the tacos were all great- the salmon really stood out! I also ordered a mango cocktail- nice option, especially if you like a little sweet and salty in your life! The interior design was sleek and retro! Cool half moon red leather booths, with regular tables placed in the center- all fun and inviting! Nada also had a few high top tables for fancier dinning. The restaurant can truly be for any occasion you'd like. The service was fast, thorough, and friendly! Guessss what, friends? Happy hour is available 7 days per week! What?!? Yup! Where do I even begin...First of all thank you fellow Yelp reviewers for leading us to the best place I have eaten at in Columbus. Our waitress was also one of the nicest and most courteous people ever. We started with the trio salsa platter which was awesome! My husband and I loved the corn/cider vinegar one. My husband had the Blueberry limonada mixed drink and it was delicious! I ordered the Arracherra which was sirloin and the salsa that I loved. This does come with avocados I asked to hold them but they forgot so I pulled them off. My wonderful waitress noticed without us saying and gave us free churros for dessert!!!!!!!! (Which were out of this world!) My husband ordered the pork belly taco with the pickled red onion and I stole one of his. It was so delicious. The ambience of the restaurant was nice. We both love contemporary establishments and this is the epitome of that. This place is worth the trip while around Columbus!! We will be back... Maybe for brunch next time! read more

Nada - This says it all! - Mexican Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

Nada es muy bueno, and a great place for whatever you're looking for in an upscale setting. Dark wood, low lighting, backlit bar separated from the main dining area, semi-open kitchen, tequila on tap. Both the setting and clientele are, as fellow diner Lori put it, "very nouveau-Short North." (I have another term for this, but she is much better at polite wit than I am. Ahem.) Anyway. We made a reservation for 8pm and were seated quickly by a rotating staff of hosts. Our server, Molly, was friendly and answered our questions and made suggestions for combinations. The tacos come in threes, and they are mix and match - the menu is a little confusing, as prices are listed for three-of-the-same rather than a la carte. There are also non-taco options. But, back up to the appetizers. We got the salsa trio and of course, we ate all the chips because no matter what you tell yourself, once the chips appear, it's nom time. The salsas were delish! Most especially the habanero salsa - hot, spicy AND sweet. I'd eat that with a spoon, no chips required (and to be honest, I did dip my spoon in a couple of times, just 'cause). I ordered the pescatarian options - shrimp, salmon and Portobello mushroom tacos. The shrimp taco came with arugula and a chipotle aioli, and with a little dab of the habanero salsa, was pretty darn close to perfect. The Portobello taco was also great, and all of its ingredients gently enhanced the flavor of the mushroom - which I like. The salmon was cooked to near-dryness, and overcooked salmon is extremely pungent. There was no way I could even consider a second bite. However, two tacos paired with chips and salsa are plenty to fill you up at Nada. They were happy to bring more habanero salsa for us, and refresh water and drinks regularly. Drinks - they do have the aforementioned tequila and all associated drink combinations. They also put tequila in the sangria, which made me sorry I'd ordered beer. The cerveza here is all bottled, gotta save those taps for Mexican gold! Overall, it's a great upscale experience that won't break the bank, staff are efficient and friendly, drinks strong, and the food is good. It's worth making a reservation in order to check it out. read more

Nada - Pescaterian dinner - shrimp, salmon and portobello tacos. - Mexican Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

Pretty impressed. I was worried when I saw how small the menu was but my parents, husband, daughter and I chose some items. Our waitress was great. She helped us navigate my food allergies into the safest option possible and then when the kitchen missed a sauce that would have been terrible, she was very apologetic and made it right quickly and efficiently. And to top it off she brought churros complimentary! read more

We needed a quick place to eat before Disney on ice. Kid friendly, and we like to actually sit, so jimmy johns across the street was out. The service was quick, and enjoyed our server, "young Lindsay lohan" (sorry can't remember her real name, but she is a dead ringer! Lol) The food was phenomenal! I am on a low carb diet and was nervous going into a Mexican restaurant. Luckily they had 2 options. I chose the chicken. Oh my gosh! One of the best dishes I have had in a long time. The flavors were so amazing and everything from the cauliflower to the salsa went amazingly together. My husband had the tacos and said they were so fresh and yummy. We split the beet and goat cheese salad which now I wish I had not split;-) Best of all, we were on time for our show! Thanks you so much!!! We will DEF return! read more

Nada - Waiting for our yummy food at nada!! - Mexican Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

We went to Nada for the first time in a while this past Friday night. We were with a big group so they sat us in this private room off the bar area. If you're in the bar area you won't even realize this room exists. Very cool and a nice touch. Would highly recommend this if you have a big party...I think we had around 12 people. I ordered the pork belly tacos, which might be best taco in all of Columbus. If you're hesitant, please do yourself a favor and check them out! I would go 8.6/10 on these alone. We also shared some chips and guac. Very good. Their special for the night was a bone-in ribeye. To be completely honest, I'm a little depressed I didn't order that. Someone in our party got it, and it looked awesome. I'm a steak guy all the way though, so hopefully this is something they add to the menu. Everyone in our group seemed very happy with the food and drinks. Also, the service was really good. If there is anything that brings the rating down, it is the pricing. I think you may leave the first time thinking it was pricey. But, the food is very good. Enjoy! read more
