Subpar food and service. Burrito bowl was flavorless and cold. Lady serving was mumbling and hard to understand. She mumbled something about refried beans or black so I said black beans but then she just didn't give me any beans. Very abrupt though we were the only customers at the time. Sometimes I'll come back to a place I reviewed and not update it because nothing's really changed but yesterday's experience was a little disappointing and I thought I would share why. The steak taco had pieces of bone and lacked any flavor. The carnitas taco was better but the corn tortilla was stale. The guacamole lacked seasoning and I needed to pep it up with some bottled sauce. Service was okay. Nothing to shout about. Was just disappointed overall on this round. read more

I was really impressed with this place. Such selection for a small eatery. Did I mention that I LOVE the name of this place ! The set up is kinda like chipotle or subway. Everything is put together in front of you and you get to choose how you want it. The ladies working here were super sweet and accommodating to complicated orders. Yes, the burritos are $8 but they do not skimp on the meat or anything else. I think it is a good deal and it leaves you stuffed. The outside seating is great for family dining. There are some tables inside too, but the outside area is great. Self serve soda machine is great for the kids to get what they want. read more

The best nachos in town I get the $8 nachos with no beans and it fills me up or sometimes I get the 2 tacos it's right off the main drag right behind the townpump. It's all street parking and the place is small plus it gets busy sometimes but the foods good. read more

Thanks Yelp for helping us find this place. We were hungry and started our search and boy did we pick right!!! Nacho Mama's is a cute unassuming place that had a nice vibe and good quick eats. The price is very reasonable and the food quality was great!!! We had a group of 4 people and 2 dogs. We wanted to find somewhere we could get takeout or eat outside. This place has a nice fenced in back patio with picnic table seating were we could have the dogs. We ordered inside and took it out back. There was hand sanitizer available and the place was very clean. We each got our meals and also a couple cheese dips to share, yummy!!! We definitely would recommend!!! read more

Great food, people and patio in a small town! We were just driving through with a dog and saw this place had a patio, so went in for lunch. Nice menu with a lot of options. For the area, it's definitely pretty good and definitely will scratch that itch if you are craving Mexican food. I would have given it 4 stars, but alas I feel I must deduct one for the staff not wearing masks in a pandemic. This is a small restaurant but it has seating both inside and at brightly painted picnic tables outside in a quaint garden area. You order at the counter and go down the line specifying what you'd like on your taco, burrito, nachos or quesadilla - much like a chipotle. But this place was much better. Everything here was great. Staff was super friendly, prices were reasonable. Loved the bright and fun decor as well. Best part about it though was the food. Absolutely all of it was wonderful. Tasted like everything was made right there. If I'm ever in the area again I'd go out of my way to eat here again. read more

The only reason this is a 3 and not a 5 is because of the way the owner spoke to her helper in gront of customers and the way she spoke bad about people moving to the area and airbnb people (which we are). read more

Went to Ennis for golf, then we wanted some lunch. What's better than a burrito? We pulled into Nacho Mama's and went through the line. The girls were helpful and efficient, getting through orders at a good pace. We had a chicken burrito and a pork burrito. They were good, comparable to Chipotle/Qdoba. They tested the limits of the maybe a little chewier/thicker tortilla by stuffing it with ingredients, then adding some more. I liked the burritos a lot. However, the chips and salsa were like Santitas chips with Pace picante sauce. Which I personally love for home use, but when I am out and about, I want some effort in the salsa. This was a little more egregious since they had fresh looking pico de gallo, why not whip up a little salsa? Anyway, I would visit again, and may hit up the one in Virginia City someday. read more

Great idea for a fast food restaurant. Just not a great execution. My only real complaint is the tortillas, which is big since everything is served in a tortilla. They need to be crispy because once you add the saucy fillings and wrap it in tin foil... It gets limp real quick. We used a fork and tossed the wrap. Loved the decor and bright colors! read more

Absolutely love this place!!!! I love going here to grab lunch! It is a quick in and out for an hour lunch break! I love the owner and the staff! They have fried tacos which are delicious!!! My favorite item is the burrito! You get a choice of rice, choice of beans, choice of meat (the pork is my favorite!) it is then filled with all kinds of goodies, corn, salsa, guacamole, peppers, cheese, sour cream, lettuce! It is large enough that I usually split with it between two meals. The nacho with the queso is another fantastic option!!! The homemade brownies and cookies bars are also a great treat! Update: I just had Nacho Mamas cater our Re/Max open house and it was amazing! We had truck tacos, chicken and beef enchiladas, queso dip and bean dip. They also brought a bunch of chips and home made sombrero cookies. But if you go for lunch try the naked burrito. It's a burrito in a bowl...no tortilla and you can customize it any way you want.
