900th review? Whaaaaat…read more It is going to be a problem having Indian Curry and Grill nestled so conveniently in the new neighborhood. A problem because it is just thaaaaat delicious and they have a massive vegetarian menu I want to work my way through. A very yelpy problem to have if I may say so. We ordered a take away last week for lunch with veggie samosas, garlic naan, basmati rice, and an order of mushroom masala for me, something meaty for my love that I've forgotten the name of. We loved our food and the ease of ordering online for pickup. Everything was fire. Rich, flavorful mushroom masala with plenty of fresh vegetables. How I savored the sauce. Yum. Luckily there were leftovers for the next day! The garlic naan was plenty garlicky, fresh, hot, and yummy. Samosas were so hot it took awhile and some patience before they could be savored. Excellent. Crispy perfection on the outside, and packed with filling and spices. Even the basmati rice was fantastic. I would order everything again. But. I have so many other items to try, from paneer to curry to okra served in a different way than I am used to. We have not dined in yet, but I'm sure we will soon. Service so far has been great. They made sure we didn't forget anything when picking up, from utensils to rice sides. Prices were lower than what I'm used to as well, so that's a bonus. Can't speak to the ambiance much yet, but it seems like a good place to dine in.

I ordered food to go, to bring it back to my mother-in-law's and feed us all. Personally I got the non-vegetarian Thali Dinner... it was fantastic! I received more food that I could have imagined for $22, and among it all was a lamb samosa that I can only describe as my favorite new comfort food I never knew I longed for. I've never had one, not sure I would have ordered one had it not come with the dinner, and can't explain the favor other than to say iykyk. And I will go back here just for them alone. It tastes like being welcomed home. But also the curry was delicious. My kids got their own butter chicken and finished mine too. And to top it all off the kheer (rice pudding) was a perfect compliment to ensure I could eat no more. While my wife and I waited (we ordered there) we were offered water, and given little glasses of their mango lassi (a lovely and hospitable gesture that made us hope the food was good so we wanted to come back all the more). We've already talked about taking the family there next time, because it feels like a place that is glad you've come, and the food is hella good!

Some inconsistencies, but for the most part, a solid 3…read more I LOOOVED the ambiance. Not so much the restaurant decorations one would expect in an Indian restaurant (they had that), but the artwork on the walls were amazing. I kept looking at them throughout my meal, as opposed to my phone. The sole gentleman seemingly running everything by himself was very nice, and water and Naan were always on the table. Now then...the food. Typical Indian buffet standards. I had chicken Tikka masala, goat curry, samosa, palak paneer, and tandoori chicken. The flavors were amazing. The goat was a little chewy, but still good Why only a 3 stars? Well....ALL of the food was....warm? There was little steam coming from the buffet table, and everything was room temperature. This restaurant definitely has potential for a higher rating, but.... I like my food hot. Would recommend based on flavor, but work on temperature control

We have a couple of places we like, but they are either take out only or don't have a vibe inside that makes dining in seem like a good option. Wow am I glad we tried Indian Flavors! Not only was the service fantastic and dining experience wonderful, but the food! Wow! I had only had Korma at these other places, thinking I loved it. Well I did love those places, but I don't think I will be able to go back. The amount of love put into the dish really showed me how little I knew about how good it could be. It really was something special. Paired with their garlic naan (one of many Indian bread options I plan to try) it was seriously spectacular. This alone earns a 5 out of 5. They also brought out this dessert cheese dish for us that was so packed with flavor we both had to do a double take. They apparently have a lunch buffet with a super reasonable price that I will surely be trying. I have gone basically my whole life eating the staple butter chicken, but this restaurant helped me fortify how much I love Korma while inspiring me to expand my taste and try new Indian dishes. I hope Lodi, Galt, and the surrounding cities can help support this restaurant. What I tried was special. The Mexican restaurant that used to be here was a favorite of many locals but didn't make it. Please try this place if you love Indian food and help make sure we keep restaurants like this in our town.

We were traveling south from Sacramento and decided to stop…read more The garlic naan was the star of the show for us! It was some of the best I've ever had. We started with samosa chaat. The samosa was crispy and the chick pea curry was fantastic!! Unfortunately the tamarind sauce was ketchup. I was disappointed, but the other amazing components almost made up for it. We ordered chicken makhni and saag paneer for our entrees. Neither was what we have come to expect for these dishes, but both were tasty, so maybe it's just a regional flavor? The chicken was a little sweet and the paneer dish much less creamy than I'm used to. Tasty, but different! The young lady who waited on us was a delight! Attentive and helpful. One area for improvement is maybe clearing the empty dishes off of the table as we finish. She's young and learning, so I can't fault her much. The dining room is clean and orderly - cloth napkins on the tables. The chilled water bottle for each table earns major points in my book! I wish them much success!
