Daphne and her big brother Recon. She finally came out of her pup bed and up on the bed to nap.

I figured I would do a review. We met Daphne at The Depawsitory meet and greet in downtown Appleton around June or July of 2019. We were leaving the shop, when we saw this ball of fur cowering in a corner. No one tried to pick her up or pet her. So we went back in and decided to give her a little love and attention. We sat still and just let her move closer to us until she finally climbed into my lap. Carmen the organizer looked over and said OMG! I can't believe she is letting anyone hold her or love on her. Once she fell asleep in the hubby's arms we knew she was ours. So we adopted this sweet little girl. She is definitely a different pup than when we met her. Since coming home with us she has a big brother ( boxer) to show her the way and play with. Unfortunately she has taught him the art of power chewing through toys. Trust me you would think there is a hoard of toddlers in my home with all the pup toys. So we go through toys at least once or twice a week. A few days after we brought her home we found out she had worms, we called New Pawsibilities and they had us bring her in to check her. They did give her a dose of medication until we could get to our vet appointment the following week. They did offer to take her back if we weren't ready for these type of issues especially since we had another puppy at home. But really how could we give her back, big brother was already attached and even let her sleep in his bed. After her vet visit we found out she is only a day difference from her big brother in birthdays. So it was definitely a match. She is happy, healthy, playful, love able and funny. I definitely would recommend one of their events for a public meet and greet, this way you can really see them and maybe a glimpse into their personality. Seeing them in a shelter is probably more stressful than being out in public. Adopt if you can, don't over look the shy, older or medical needs fur babies. They needs us as much as we need them.

Buster Buddies injured my dog while grooming and when I posted a review describing what happened…read morethey were not truthful about what really occurred. I don't know if the owner was aware of what transpired because I never had a chance to even show the owner a picture of my dogs paws because the groomer was so loud and obnoxious. In the owner's written response she said I did not provide a time stamped photo. This is not true, I did provide a time stamped photo to the groomer and the groomer knows this. My dog's paws were razor burned and when I returned home with him I noticed a few spots of light blood on the floor and only then investigated further. The groomer kept yelling "you didn't say anything about his paws when you left." Yes, that is correct. I don't inspect my dog before leaving from a grooming appointment. I did not call to complain about his paws because I have never had a problem with grooming services in the past, so I decided to address it with the groomer at his next 12 week appointment. It wasn't my intention to stop using their services initially, I only wanted validation on her part to make sure it doesn't happen in the future. The groomer became verbally combative. I then left the room and went to speak with the owner and the groomer followed me. The owner implied I wanted to " make a deal". What I was looking for is reassurance that this wouldn't happen again, which I made known to the groomer. To imply anything else is wrong! The owner said absolutely nothing while the groomer continued her verbal assaults, accusing me of lying. I am now responding to Buster Buddies response of my original review because their description of the event that transpired is not correct. I wish I noticed their response sooner because I certainly would have responded. I believe both the owner and groomer handled the situation inappropriately. I was not hostile when I approached the groomer, only asking her to be more careful. I guess that was the wrong thing to say because she became belligerent and the owner allowed her to act in this manner. I would NOT recommend Buster Buddies for their grooming services.

First the dogs can see owners that pick them up so they all run to the gate climbing on each other…read morestarting dog fights... not good! The place has a bad tick issue. My dog came home with ticks 3-4 times. They have aggressive dogs that cause issues.... Just not a dog friendly place at times. Went across town to Tailwaggers much much better layout and staff...
