But because I didn't like the price, here's a little background. Continue to read if you want my rant. If not just understand See's is good but not real specialy chocolate pricy good. I always like coming to See's candies during the holidays.Not so much during the regular year, or else I'm going to have to change my lifestyle. If I want chocolate from See's candies i need to budget for it ,price checking The nuts and chews. (MY FAVORITES)1 pound box is $33. 2 pound box is $63. The Maple brittle is $22. The fancy gold boxes are $70 for the 2 pound and $40 for the one pound box, the soft centers are one pound for $33 and two pounds.$63 . To each his own / her own. As much as I like this place, I don't see that I need chocolate this much that I would pay these prices after going to Switzerland and getting "real" chocolate for about the same price. The quality level is still really different. And I don't think it's worth it. But the samples I had today,were good. Honestly, I don't know if they're $35 with tax for a pound.. good.

    For over thirty years I have been filling my children's Christmas stockings with See's candy. After…read moremy recent experience, I will never again give them my business. Giving the whole See's experience with website, this store, and telephone customer service with corporate a big fat 0. Placed online order for store pickup. Receive email to not head to store and that I will be contacted when order is ready. I have done this in the past and usually receive the "pick up your order" email in a few hours. This time several days elapse. Looking at See's online there was no way for me to check my order status although my credit card company (AmEx) showed that I had been charged. After two days I called the store to inquire about my order's status and was informed that this particular store does not fulfill online orders for pickup even though the store was an option on the See's website and the initial email from See's indicating this would be my pickup location. Furthermore, they had no way to look up my order and provide a refund. They recommended I contact See's through their website. On See's website there was no way for me to cancel my order and receive refund. I called their customer service number and was told they had no record of my order and I should go to the store of my order and get refund there. Frustrating and impossible since the store has no record of my order. I was out on hold several times for long periods of time while the customer service rep spoke with her supervisor. Several time I requested to speak with her supervisor or manager and was put on hold. Each time the customer service rep returned and said they would not talk directly with me but relayed "what the supervisor said was...!" In the end she took my info and assigned me a case number and said "you will be contacted" but I've yet to receive a call. We will be reporting this to American Express and Better Business Bureau.

This is going to be a long review, so buckle up. I got a paint pallet from Michael's and wanted a few words engraved on it for a Christmas present, so I go here. I go in and my first impression was very bad. No one greeted me and the office is in shambles. Everything thrown around and unorganized. I say hi to a man who has his back turned to me and doesn't look at me and says to wait a little bit because he needed to print out some more work orders. Very rude. I wait for a bit, and eventually I get to explain to him what I need. He starts asking me questions about the engraving that only a professional would know and tells me that I need to be teaching him. Very weird. As a customer coming to a business, I am paying them to cater to my needs, not the other way around. He tells me that his buddy will call me before he makes it to give me a price. I say okay, fill out the work order and head on my way. A few days go by and Christmas is getting closer, so I call and check on the product. He says it'll be ready today. I say okay and am wondering why they didn't call me with the price before they made it. I didn't get a call that it was ready, so a few days go by and I call again and he says it's ready. I go and stop by. I get there and they forgot a part of the engraving. We look on the work order and it was all there. They say they can fix it right then and there so I wait. They bring it out to me and the font is wrong, and the engraving ruined the surrounding wood, so I look at it very disappointed. I ask if they can lower the price, and the lady says they can do $20. The product was originally $36. I still sound disappointed, so the man says if I can get a new paint pallet, they can fix it and he'll account for how much the pallet costs. I say okay, drive 13 minutes to Michael's and 13 minutes back. They remake it and the man says, that'll be $25. I look at him and say not $20? The lady says yes $20, but I'm still shocked he tried to change it after how patient I've been with all of the mistakes they've made. I end up paying the $20 and the product looks very good. As a general, your reputation is worth so much more than an extra $5 on one order. Even after all the mistakes I was willing to work with them, but that was the last straw for me. All in all, they'll make a good product, but the headache is not worth it. Kudos to the lady as well, she understands good business etiquette.
