This is going to be a long review, so buckle up. I got a paint pallet from Michael's and wanted a few words engraved on it for a Christmas present, so I go here. I go in and my first impression was very bad. No one greeted me and the office is in shambles. Everything thrown around and unorganized. I say hi to a man who has his back turned to me and doesn't look at me and says to wait a little bit because he needed to print out some more work orders. Very rude. I wait for a bit, and eventually I get to explain to him what I need. He starts asking me questions about the engraving that only a professional would know and tells me that I need to be teaching him. Very weird. As a customer coming to a business, I am paying them to cater to my needs, not the other way around. He tells me that his buddy will call me before he makes it to give me a price. I say okay, fill out the work order and head on my way. A few days go by and Christmas is getting closer, so I call and check on the product. He says it'll be ready today. I say okay and am wondering why they didn't call me with the price before they made it. I didn't get a call that it was ready, so a few days go by and I call again and he says it's ready. I go and stop by. I get there and they forgot a part of the engraving. We look on the work order and it was all there. They say they can fix it right then and there so I wait. They bring it out to me and the font is wrong, and the engraving ruined the surrounding wood, so I look at it very disappointed. I ask if they can lower the price, and the lady says they can do $20. The product was originally $36. I still sound disappointed, so the man says if I can get a new paint pallet, they can fix it and he'll account for how much the pallet costs. I say okay, drive 13 minutes to Michael's and 13 minutes back. They remake it and the man says, that'll be $25. I look at him and say not $20? The lady says yes $20, but I'm still shocked he tried to change it after how patient I've been with all of the mistakes they've made. I end up paying the $20 and the product looks very good. As a general, your reputation is worth so much more than an extra $5 on one order. Even after all the mistakes I was willing to work with them, but that was the last straw for me. All in all, they'll make a good product, but the headache is not worth it. Kudos to the lady as well, she understands good business etiquette.

When you're spending money on something, you want to feel like you're being treated fairly and that you can trust the person you're doing business with. Getting a quote that didn't seem to match what I was asking for made me uncomfortable moving forward. I ended up going with another company, even though it cost me about $100 more, simply because I felt more comfortable doing business with them. I'm giving two stars instead of one because I never actually received the finished products, so I can't fairly judge the quality of their work. They may do great work and their pricing may be competitive. My review is strictly based on my customer service and quoting experience. I really wanted to keep the business local, but unfortunately the experience wasn't good enough for me to continue.

I used them at my last company and we ended up switching because he couldn't get it right. Years have passed, and I decided to give them another shot. I ordered 19 dozen hats and 17 were incorrect. Looks like the jokes on me. At first he tried to blame it on me, but in the end he at least owned up to his mistake. The remedy was to credit me on each of the hats that were wrong or redo the stitching. Redo the stitching? Come in. Because we had such a large credit, I decided to order a couple more items from them and he told me with confidence, they could be done (stickers). These items were ordered over 2 1/2 months ago, and I still have not received the total amount. I've been by there numerous times with him telling me they will be done in a day or two and that they would give me a call. I've let weeks go by and popped in to have him lie over and over to my face. I've gotten to the point where I don't even want to talk to this guy, and I feel like he gets my drift so he's taking it upon himself to drop stuff off at my office and start lying to the ladies that are in there. It is unbelievable that anybody that owns a business would let somebody like this work for them for this many years. I can't imagine that I'm the only persons order that he screws up. Maybe he's good at coloring shirts but he needs to stay AWAY from customers. It's unfortunate because the work is good but the BAD C S trumps anything they can do right. But if he wants to maintain a good reputation, he may want to reconsider who's left in charge. Between the poor quality, lack of follow-up on a quote, and no ownership of the mistake, I can't recommend them to other businesses.
