My husband booked this hotel for our vacation. It's a very nice, quaint hotel. The bare necessities are given and the rooms are VERY small. We didn't have any issues with it really, because we were out and about so much. The hospitality was great. Since we did visit in the winter, the usually open court yard where breakfast and cocktails can be enjoyed was covered and still allowed for smoking with electric heaters. I was surprised to learn they have more rooms than what you would think! The staff were wonderful. They gave us some ideas and places to visit. The strike was going on so a few workers stayed there, so it was nice to see familiar faces. Again, it's small. This is not your luxury hotel. It's affordable and when we had an issue with travel we had no problems getting to stay an extra day. And that crepe place I mentioned is right around the corner! Check out my review on that.
