Brand new location and nice and modern inside! Love how they cut their gyro meat. So much better than the slices. You can't go wrong with this place. Everything is flavorful and delicious, solid portions, great service. Until next time :)

This restaurant is fast food place but in the evening they will serve you at a table. It was clean and bright inside. It was yummy food, came quick and was filling. The "baked" spaghetti is not a true cooked baked spaghetti. They put spaghetti and sauce on a plate and cover it with cheese and melt it in their oven. The combination plate comes with one piece of gyro and one skewer of chicken and one spanakopita triangle. It doesn't look like much but is good. Kids chicken nuggets were nothing special but works for kiddos. I didn't find the server very attentive but people dropped off food and provided for our needs.

Service was good They're pretty fast. Everything I've eaten here has been really good. I did dine in would have been five stars, but I do not like when restaurants charge you for extra sauce when you dine in. No I did not ask for five sauces. I asked for one extra tzatziki, one extra dressing. I don't feel like that was an excessive amount other than that great experience.

We both have colds and wanted some of that great chicken soup, so I ordered online take out with a combo plate: chicken souvlaki and slice of gyro, pita and salad. Very good. The salad dressing was particularly good, like a strawberry vinagrette. Parking was difficult but I lucked out with a spot. On Battleground next to Biscuitville.

Cost effective, fast, and nice casual atmosphere. After spending 24 years near Tarpon Springs, FL. which has a large Greek Culture, I have to say Mythos Grill was the best Greek food that I have had in NC. I would recommend this one.

Ooops, I did it again! I wanted a healthy dinner so I went to Mythos Grill for their "Mythos Bowl" and I absolutely must get a side order of the dolmades. The bowl has their delicious seasoned chicken on a bed of greens with red onions, olives, tomatoes, feta with their delicious Greek dressing. It's filling and I end up taking a to go bag. It's always fresh and delicious!

Mythos has been a staple in my life for many years. It never disappoints. My son ordered the Chicken Souvlaki 2 skewers of chicken with Greek salad and fries. Came with a side of pita bread and tzatziki sauce. The portions are huge and he brought home half of it for lunch tomorrow. I have always loved their Greek spaghetti. It is the BEST! I, too, ate half and brought the rest home for lunch. It's is modestly priced and it's a really good deal when you can get 2 extra meals out of what we ordered. Our server was prompt and friendly. Thank you, Mythos, for another great dining experience.

This place rocks! I absolutely love their food, and the service is always quick and efficient. I've been dining here since they were at the old location across the street (on Battleground) and have never had a poor experience. Their great service continued through the Pandemic and has been nothing short of amazing post-Pandemic. We dined in on a busy Saturday and the line seemed daunting at first (out the door!) but the staff handled it quickly, patiently, and with ease. The new location is definitely larger and nicer, I'm glad they were able to make this move. The bigger parking lot is a huge plus, too, as the old one tended to be quite congested. The inside is beautiful, creating a nice and clean environment especially for a quick dine-in spot. Their prices are very affordable and fair. I always order the Chicken Souvlaki platter, either with fries and salad or just salad like today. That salad dressing, y'all! To die for! I can't explain it! It's tangy but with a hint of sweet. I could drink this stuff, truly. The chicken is tender and seasoned to perfection, and coupled with the pillowy pita and creamy tzatziki is such a delight. My mom ordered the turkey club today which she also really enjoyed. Fresh toppings, and a great nod to your traditional turkey club sandwich. Please add Mytho's to your list if you're in the area! Great for lunch, dinner, or a quick to-go order. Yum!

Made to order. Always fresh. Always hot. Always good. Portions are great for the price. Consistent with taste and service. My go to spot to grab a bite to eat.

I have now had the opportunity to dine in and get take out from Mythos' new location on Battleground. The new space is for sure larger which helped significantly with wait time for a table and food at peak times like the lunch hour. So that's a big plus. However I don't love the shopping center it is within. The parking lot is very difficult to get into and out of. And it's general layout is not easy to maneuver. Both items we got stuck for a bit trying to get out of our parking space as there's a line up of cars trying to exit and waiting for a clearing onto Battleground. This is a bit of a drag and does make me lean more towards the Market Street location. The food is still just as delicious and consistent as before. I'm pretty loyal to ordering the chicken soulvaki with Greek salad. The pork soulvaki is also great and they do let you do one skewer of each. The meat has a nice marinade, the vegetables are fresh and crisp, and their tzatziki is nice and creamy. I use it as my salad dressing. It's just a solid, healthy, and yummy meal. They also offer wheat pita unlike other Greek places in the area which is nice. Staff is always very pleasant and efficient as they can be to serve their customers. And I think the new larger space is a great help to only improve this.

Always an excellent meal and friendly service. During these colder months I have really enjoyed their soup...lemon, chicken and rice. The broth has a deep chicken flavor and the lemon really brightens the fish. The rice provides some body to the dish and makes it feel heartier. If you haven't tried it I'd recommend it strongly. I like to pair it with a side of spanakopita...a spinach pie made with phyllo dough. The phyllo is always nicely crisp and flaky and the flavor of spinach is well balanced and robust.

Absolutely amazing delish and fresh. Joined a friend for lunch on a Friday. Parking lot was packed! Be patient because people leave all the time or if needed you can park across the street and risk battleground. Yikes! Super fast and full of lively locals and familiar faces. This Mythos is just one of their locations and it's in a nice big restaurant. You order at counter and food is brought out to you. Beverage is self serve. We both enjoyed a full plate of food. The Greek salad is topped with feta and a pepper. Homemade dressing. Chicken skewers is a great option for some protein.

My absolute favorite place for Greek food! The service is always fast and the food is fresh and flavorful. I always get the Chicken Soulvaki, but I'm sure you can't go wrong with anything else on the menu!

From the moment we walked in the decor and overall vibe felt like stepping back in time in a good way. You can tell a lot of thought went into the place without it feeling overdone. Service was top tier. Alejandra took care of us and knew the menu inside and out without sounding scripted or fake attentive like some places do. I got the salmon and yeah... ridiculous. The interior and overall vibe are really nice, and the food was good -- but nothing especially memorable. What completely ruined the evening, though, was the service and how an accident was handled. A server from another table accidentally dropped an entire chocolate dessert shot glass behind me, and I got covered in chocolate -- my neck, hair, sweater, jeans, and even half of our table. Accidents happen, and I totally understand that. What shocked me was that neither the server who dropped it nor my own server reacted or even apologized. My server saw everything happen but didn't hurry to help or check on me. I sat there for more than 15 minutes with chocolate in my hair and all over my clothes. Eventually, I had to call the manager myself and ask for napkins or something to clean up. To the manager's credit, she responded quickly and was helpful. Ironically, my server only came over after the manager had already handled everything. In the end, I left the restaurant with a dirty sweater, stained jeans, and chocolate still in my hair. Instead of properly following up, they simply handed me a business card and told me to email or call about the incident. Honestly, after what happened, why should I have to chase the restaurant for a resolution? A much better approach would have been for someone to ask for my contact information and proactively reach out. Overall, it was a very strange and disappointing experience, especially for a place that presents itself as upscale. Sadly, I wouldn't come back again.

That's the way it was for us and Taproom, a long time Greensboro pub on Battleground Avenue. The last time we stopped by was pre-pandemic. Prior to Covid we had been somewhat regulars, visiting every couple of months. As we walked in, it was as if we had entered a time machine. Nothing aesthetically had changed. That's a good thing because Taproom exuded the comfortable dark wood intimate setting that it is always enjoyed. We wanted a little bar food and a couple of adult beverages. At the suggestion of the bartender, we split a Caesar salad as well as a Black and Bleu black flatbread. The Caesar salad is a classic and was very satisfying. Can't say it is special, but it is simply delicious. The flatbread was a lot of fun. It comes with olive oil, caramelized, onion, crumbled bleu cheese, mozzarella, and balsamic glaze. We added blackened fillet tips as our protein. My only complaint is I should've ordered two. The flatbread is incredibly satisfying and the beef tips were savory, tender, and flavorful. I went old-school on the drink. I had a 20 ounce Guinness, while my wife had a mule. Both were spot on and worked really well with the food we had. Everything was very affordable as well. Taproom is loud and feels neighborly. I reviewed it nine years ago and I'm changing nothing. I highly recommend a visit if you're looking for drinks and pub food in a classic environment.

Her demeanor always remained professional and courteous. The food varied based upon what was ordered. Those who ordered sandwiches reported they were good; those that ordered salads said they were okay (the Cobb was missing the egg and the chicken tasted pre-cooked; one person was charged 75 cents for extra honey mustard dressing), and those that ordered burgers said they were mediocre, reporting that the meat was room temperature and had a texture that felt pre-cooked. Beer was great. The issue came from the management. A person in our party ordered a Mint Julep. The waitress had never heard of it and checked with the bartender to make sure it could be made. She said the bartender wasn't familiar with it, but could look it up and make it. The drink never came. One of us went to the bar, picked it up, and brought it to our table. The drink lacked color. When our friend drank it, she said she couldn't taste any bourbon. (A classic Mint Julep should have 2-2.5 oz of KY bourbon.) We asked for more bourbon to pour into the drink. When the bill came, our friend was charged $23 for the drink: $10 for the drink that was made incorrectly, $10 for the extra bourbon, $3 for the sprig of mint. All our wanted was to be compensated the $10 for the incorrectly made drink. Management said they could not do it, that it would be illegal for them to do it, and that the bartender followed "their" recipe and that, even though it may not be what she was used to, the drink was made in accordance with their recipe. In other words, they lied. Management can always "make it right" by offering a $10 compensation, but they would have none of it. The integrity of the restaurant is lacking, particularly regarding management. So many great restaurants exist in the area. (We ate at two other restaurants that week that were excellent and in the same price range.) Why take a chance on one like this? Reading other reviews shows that something is terribly wrong with The Upper Deck Kitchen.....and what they call cocktails.
