They didn't have as many coffee options to choose from, and the lucky charm coffee almost tasted like a tea in a kinda weird way. But I asked for the honey pistachio matcha as a latte and they accommodated that which was awesome. That drink was pretty tasty because of the cream cheese soft top and real pistachios. I think it's a nice place, open and clean, they have games to play, and the service was great. Coffee wasn't bad, just not my favorite this time around.
Great coffee shop in Gilbert! The coffee is always on point, and the staff is consistently super friendly. Parking is hit or miss. You might score a spot out front, but more often you'll need to park nearby and walk over. The space has a very industrial vibe with high ceilings, which looks cool, but I do wish there were more comfortable and welcoming seating to really match the atmosphere. There are only a few tables, so it's best if you arrive at a good time. Overall, I'd recommend as a place to grab great coffee!
Low key/ casual spot to hang out and or get some work done. Tried the Pumpkin Pie Latte (hot and half sweet) and it was good! Would order again. Although it wasn't too busy when I walked in, there aren't a lot of tables to sit down at (just an FYI in case you walk in on a busy day). Couple tables outside for when the weather is nice as well. Overall, I recommend this place. Check them out!

Mythical Coffee was a hidden gem I just happened to find on a map, as my friend and I were looking for somewhere with coffee and food. Located in Gilbert Town Square shopping plaza, which also has a ton of other interesting looking shops, there was some street parking available at 830am on a Thursday when I arrived. Indoor and outdoor seating was available. Lots of beautiful art inside this modern looking coffee shop. They had grab&go drinks and pastries, as well as regular coffee beverages and some fun seasonal specials too! There was lots of coffee/accessories for sale too. The person who took our order was really helpful in explaining the drinks to us, and brought the food to us too! I decided to try the Purple Passion ube latte drink and it was really good, better than I'd thought it would be! I would definitely order this seasonal drink again. My friend ordered the Breakfast Sammy and said it was pretty good. She really enjoyed her chai latte, saying that it actually tasted like chai! Love this place and can't wait to come back!
I put a post on Reddit r/Gilbert to ask the community what they thought the best coffee in Gilbert was. Mythical Coffee came up multiple times in the thread and therefore I felt compelled to try it out! My daughter goes to school in the area, so on the way home yesterday from morning drop off I swung by Mythical right as they opened at 7:00 am. The shop was clean, nice open space, well organized and two very friendly baristas greeted me as I walked in. I told him I hadn't been here before but was interested in a latte. I asked for his suggestions/his favorite and he said the "purple passion latte" with whole milk. Not only was it beautiful, but it was delicious. Probably one of the best lattes I've had in the area. Because it was right at 7:00 am, I didn't wait long at all for my drink and it was ~$7 after tax/tip. I would HIGHLY suggest if you're in the area!

I enjoy coffee/ tea equally and specially when it is a locally owned business. This place has been on my list for a while and what better to meet a friend for coffee over here. When I walked in on a Friday afternoon it was packed. All the seats were taken and I just waited patiently. I went with a matcha latte and my friend a regular cappuccino. The people are so sweet and the service friendly and quick. The matcha latte was real good, it felt authentic and had really good flavor. The pricing is decent and this place has such a great vibe, can spend all day over here. Definitely, coming back!
Went here on a Sunday afternoon. It was fairly busy but staff was great. Polite and fast so the line moved quickly. I was torn between the banana pudding latte and the caramel rosemary latte. I went with the caramel rosemary latte and I'm glad I did! It was so good! I tried a sip of my friend's banana pudding latte and I liked the one I got better. Not a big space with a lot of seating. Parking in front and back. Clean space. I'd come back.
Cozy, modern cafe in Gilbert just south of downtown. There's always a good vibe here and coffee is great. I like the service and would recommend to anyone who likes coffee shops. There's a couch to chill on with your laptop. There's people so it feels alive but not over crowded that you want to leave.

This place was great. The interaction we had with the cashier was amazing as he was very nice and approachable. The line was long but he was very patient and kind. I ordered a London fog tea with half and half and it was the best. It was creamy, milky, and it was the right amount of sweetness. My friend had the seasonal drink and he also enjoyed it. We sat on the cute blue couch while we sipped our drinks and it was fun to people watch as it was very busy. The bathroom was clean. Overall, will be back!

A truly lovely place. The spicy chai, extra hot, with honey cinnamon and oat milk is my go to. Eric, Cher, Michael, Junior, Anthony, and Keaton (whom I see the most) are such a joy to interact with and I love sitting her to read & journal. I've made friends with customers who also sit here organically. Great natural lighting. read more

Finally checked out mythical coffee!! They have their own version of the Black Caf from Disneyland!! It was so amazing!! Will definitely be going back again to check their other seasonal drinks!! The service was so friendly!! read more
Really cute little coffee shop. Both baristas I interacted with were super friendly and nice. I got a London Fog with oat milk (iced, because Arizona is already too dang hot!) and it was lovely. Had a distinct lavender floral taste, which I love. They also sprinkled some dried lavender buds on top and that was the cherry on top for me! read more

I've given this place so many chances to redeem itself and unfortunately they always fail. They're just down the street from me and I love supporting local, but at some point you just have to move on to the next, especially when your basic expectations are not met. I've ordered online for pick up and EVERY TIME, my drinks are never ready and by the looks of it, they're just getting started on my drinks when I get there. I order online for a reason, because when I do that usually means I'm pressed for time. I don't mind waiting for my coffee if I walk in, but I think the main reason for online ordering is defeated when your drinks aren't ready by the time stated on your receipt. To clarify, I arrive 5 mins AFTER the time they give me for pick up (which is about 20 -30 mins from the time I've placed an order). I know they get busy on the weekends and some weekday mornings, but someone needs to fix the pick up time algorithm online if customers arrive on time but their drinks are still not made. read more

We always stop in when we're in Phoenix and sometimes even order coffee from Austin. It's consistently high quality, and fantastic service. This time around the espresso and sprinkle donut were fantastic. My wife enjoyed the sugar cookie latte! read more

Stopped here to grab a latte and was blown away by the seasonal menu. The gingerbread latte with a gingerbread cookie on top was a nice touch. The eggnog and maple donuts were incredible too. The only thing I wish they had was the avocado shakshuka toast. They said that was a limited item and they don't make anymore. Sounds delicious. read more

Ordering ahead using their website was a good idea! It showed all of the seasonal options and treats too. I have been wanting to try this place for a long time and stopped after my visit to the Made With Love market at San tan village. I ordered the caramel apple latte iced and made with oat milk. My drink wasn't ready yet when I arrived, but I did not have to wait very long. It was somewhat busy, not too many people waiting, but pretty much all of the tables were full. My drink was really good! I couldn't taste the apple flavor but it was still delicious! I want to come back and try the pumpkin pie latte or the other seasonal apple drink they had. And one of their baked goods! Everyone there was really nice too. A lot of them had fun masks on which I appreciated haha. Glad I checked mythical coffee out! read more

The atmosphere is super open and welcoming. They also have good seating inside and available outlets. The coffee is really good too. I also like how they don't blast their music inside so I can still put my AirPods in a focus on my work. Prices are reasonable too and the baristas were very welcoming. I also find it nice that they have a water station as well when planning to a little longer. Definitely will be back to try more menu items. read more

This place has hands down the best coffee, matcha and donuts in Arizona!! The donuts are gluten free and Vegan and are made in house as well! The owner, and staff are always welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere is clean and relaxing. If you are ever in the Gilbert or Scottsdale area this is a must!! read more
Pretty happy that Gilbert is growing and growing with more local coffee shops. This place is very aesthetically pleasing, and great for hangouts. The selection on the menu is quite hard considering they have a lot of choose from. I originally wanted a cold brew but I ended up getting a passionfruit tea. My friend who took me here, ended up getting a coconut coffee and it looked really good. The glass cups here are also great detail. But I'll definitely be coming back to try drip and cold brew coffee! read more
It was crowded with people working, studying, having a group together during the Tuesday afternoon I went. It is a nice little plaza and didn't expect to have a nice coffee shop in the suburban town of Gilbert. But the spaces opened up when I was leaving the coffee shop. Got a bourbon peach iced latte. I got half sweet so I didn't taste the bourbon syrup, so next time I would probably just get a regular latte . :) Nice baristas there and one of them noticed I did some rock climbing in my spare time. Visited on Memorial Day, place was bustling. We ordered some iced drinks, a breakfast sandwich, and avocado toast. Food and drinks came fast and food was quite tasty (shoutout to the avocado smash, very well done!). Prices are very reasonable, good ambience inside, lots of light, overall great experience. I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I've come here multiple times because I like the drinks and small bites and ambiance. I've had their chai which I really like, and also their matcha latte. It's the only matcha latte I've had where I didn't have to add any sweetener, it tastes great just on its own. I've also tried a couple of their seasonal drinks which are always pretty unique. For the food items, I really like the overnight oats, and I love that they always have a vegan or gluten free option for their pastries! I want to come back and try their avo toast cause it looks really good too. They will occasionally have local bread for sale or even flowers! I will continue to come back here :) read more

This coffee changed my life. I never knew a coffee shop in a strip mall in Gilbert AZ was gona change my life. Who knew the subtle scent of vanilla and mint can become more pronounced with the infusion of oat milk. This was my last coffee on a trip to Arizona and I still think about it everyday :') read more
Awesome & down-to-earth owners. They both took the time to chat and describe the vision for their business. Love the vibe and the space. Great coffee, tea, & baked in house pastries. Their hot drinks are presented at the ideal temperature so you don't scald your mouth and they also roast their own coffee beans. Will definitely be returning in the near future! read more
I've been twice. First time I got a bourbon peach latte. Second time I got a smoked maple latte. I also grabbed a bag of beans to take home. I love the inside; it's open and airy. There are several tables/seats along the walls, but when super busy, it can seem like there's no seating! There is some seating outside, which is nice. There is plenty of parking, so no worries there. You order and then wait to the side to receive your order. This can feel crowded, if just waiting around and it starts to get busy. However, the drinks were really good. Smooth and sweet, but not too sweet. I really liked the smoked maple latte and would get that again in the heartbeat (but it was only seasonal, so I hope they bring it back). The beans I brought home were good on the espresso machine and made nice lattes. I would highly recommend checking this place out to try some unique drinks and to enjoy the atmosphere. Everyone I talked to was nice and helpful and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. I'll be back! read more

Mythical is a cool new coffee shop and roasterie just opened up in Gilbert. Unique to local coffee spots, Mythical doesn't rely on an outside roaster to supply its finished beans. Instead, they custom roast their own stock. And it shows. This is custom coffee experience for the true coffee lover. The shop is bright and spacious with 12 tables of various sizes, music playing lightly in the background and friendly talk happening at around the room. It's the kind of place you can go and meet with a friend and talk. The vibe is new and yet peaceful. I tried the chai tea latte and it was perfect. Not too sweet, which is tiring in a chai drink, but nicely and warmly spiced. Also tried was a standard latte. The milk was airated perfectly so the steamed milk and foam had a great mouth feel and the latte art was flawless. The espresso (roasted in-house) was Ethopian, it had fruit and nut notes. It's exactly what a latte should highlight, the espresso and not gobs of sugar and whip cream. The shop also has homemade tasty pastries for a lite snack whilst you are enjoying your beverage. I chose the cranberry scone and I must say it was marvelous. The lightly heated it for me and it was delicious. The staff was friendly and warm, like the drinks and pastries. They took our order quickly, which was nice so that the line moved along swiftly. The staff served our drinks quickly and even brought one of them to our table. The prices were actually very good, and not exorbitant like is the case with many custom coffee shops. Overall the experience at Mythical was excellent and I definitely recommend this new coffee shop! read more

For those coffee lovers, on a Lorelai Gilmore level, who are looking for pure joy in every sip, they would understand the importance of this shop coming to Gilbert. Sure, don't get me wrong, I adore all local shops, but this is a pure magical gem that though shouldn't be kept a secret. From beginning to end, this place is the best coffee shop in the valley. They roast their own ethically selected beans. They are extremely detail oriented about making sure the coffee brewed with those beans is as good as it can be, from the water to the grind to the cup. Eric and Kat know good coffee. And they also know how to make sure you have a good experience. Enjoyability is the only metric they care about, and they welcome feedback. I seriously love this place. Came here 2/6/20, and can confirm that this place absolutely deserves the perfect 5 star rating here on yelp. Of all the chais I have sampled in the east valley this currently holds the spot as my favorite. They have both a masala and sweet chai - which you can mix and match to get what you're looking for. The combination of quality and a size can not be beat, and you're truly getting a great bang for your buck. Parking is easy to find in this shopping complex. Inside there's a great amount of seating with tables, and outlets on the periphery to work done. But be warned, even on a weekday morning this place will be packed like it was because of the solid drinks. The decor is bright white, and minimalist with splashes of unicorn adjacent artwork. You can regularly find the owner behind the counter, which shows me that this place is committed to doing their best. My fiancé and I were coming down to taste test some cakes when we decided to try a coffee shop in Gilbert before our appointment. She heard that Mythical Coffee was really good so we decided to give it a shot! We walked it to it being packed but such a spacious place! We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We asked the barista what was good since we have never been here before and he said we'll try our special fall drinks! I decided the get the caramel apple latte with oat milk and my fiancé got the London fog with a shot of espresso in it. These drinks did not disappoint. There was a great ratio of milk to espresso. The drinks were not overly sweet which I definitely like! You all need to come try this place. They also have cute merchandise which I bought as well as coffee for my own espresso machine! read more

They have 3 different herbal teas. Iron goddess black has passion fruit, baked peach and rose, eight immortal oolong has mango, flowers, orange blossom and lastly spirit white has tangerine, allspice and rose water in it.
