I do not recommend getting a new baby from this breeder. In 2018 I bought an English Bulldog from him and in 2023 she developed a condition that was attacking her platelets and there was no treatment to be done to save her and she had to be put down right before she turned 4. I thought this was just an isolated situation and got a Frenchie from him in 2023. When I got the frenchie home she was sick, I worked through that and we then noticed her back hips would pop as she was walking, if she was walking over you you could feel her hips pop. The hips have tightened up but she definitely runs with a skip and we were planning on addressing this soon. Well, she is now 2 years and 9 months and she is still in the hospital after needing emergency IVDD surgery. I know these dogs are high risk but to have 2 with major issues before even 4 years old this is the true meaning of someone not breeding healthy dogs. I am heartbroken yet again from poor breeding and these poor dogs are not given a fair chance. I luckily will do anything I can for my babies and we have a long road of healing, therapy, and possibly a wheelchair for my dog. I have purchased two dogs from him and each was a bad experience. I even sent him a message just a few days ago, he has seen my message about this mess but didn't even take the time to respond. Update for 2026 1 yr after IVDD she is now having knee issues and will require surgery. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BREADER read more

I worked with Carlos to bring home the sweetest most adorable blue fawn French Bulldog in July of 2023. Carlos answered all questions and provided a wonderful training session to get me started on caring for our puppy. He also provided a care package with a toy and food. We are so grateful for all the care that Carlos puts into his breeding program because we received the most wonderful puppy. Thank you Carlos! read more

Update on our baby boy: He's almost 6 months on the 3rd of next month and took him to the vet last night because he recently starting limping. He's got hip dysplasia. Fully aware of how common this is in Bulldogs, just didn't think we would be going through this at 5 months. 1/22/17 update: our baby is now one year and 3 months old! read more

We bought a French bulldog puppy almost a year ago from Carlos and his family and we absolutely love her! Carlos and his wife were very kind and helped us and answered any and all questions we had prior to adopting her and for many weeks after bringing her home. We had lots of questions as first time puppy parents and their kindness and attentiveness never wavered and I felt they went above and beyond to help us like I said even after bringing her home. Once I convince my boyfriend into adopting another we will return again to Carlos and his family for another puppy in the future. Peppa is the perfect addition to our family read more

Tomorrow will mark 1 year since we purchased our bundle of joy from Bulldogs Bay. Chopper is 14 1/2 moths old now. He continues to remain healthy and still brings so much joy to our household. He loves to play and loves to cuddle; though he's a hefty lap dog. We couldn't imagine life without him now as he is always in tow wherever we go. Tow being the key word. We peruse the website weekly in anticipation of purchasing another one. It's only a matter of time... read more

My husband and I purchased an English Bulldog in 2014 and French Bulldog in 2015 (Jack and Daniel) from them via phone/text messaging. They were very fast and responsive. They answered all of my concerning questions (before and after shipment) and sent additionally pictures and videos to ensure we chosen the perfect ones. They were able to ship them over to us in less than a week (From Cali to Mass)! In a crate supplied with water and puppy food. All pre puppy shots completed and documents sent over. They contacted us throughout the process. Everything was professionally taken cared of. Would I purchase another puppy from this breeder? Absolutely! Yes! Happy customers! They are the best surprise from my husband ever! Still healthy. Lots of character. We love our furbabies. Check them out for yourself on Instagram @jackdanielbrothers read more

Carlos is an excellent Breader! Not only does he bread the most beautiful dogs they are healthy, loved, and clearly well taken care of! We just love our English Bulldog who we affectionately refer to as Tikka! From the moment we welcomed him into our family at 8 weeks old, he has fit right in! He is sweet, playful, hilarious and gorgeous! People literally stop in their cars as we walk him to tell us just how cute he is lol Carlos is a wealth of info and makes some great recommendations. Tikka is 14 weeks now and he never gone #2 in the house and has only had a few wee wee accidents inside, which were probably our fault bc we forgot to take him out. I don't know what Carlos did but he is basically house trained! He is also pretty well crate trained. Carlos also provides a complimentary goodie bag filled with goodies and treats for the pup which was so thoughtful! I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking to welcome a Bulldog to your family...we were on the hunt for a long time and are so happy we found him! Prices also very reasonable considering the quality of dog and the fact that he's located in the tri-state area! can't say enough positive things about our experience :) thanks Carlos! read more

I purchased my English Bulldog from this breeder in 2019. While I love my dog deeply and he is a good soul - I have paid over 10k in 3 years owning this dog - not what I expected buying from a breeder. My dog at age 6 mo was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia and extreme arthritis - the future costs not paid yet and insurance will not cover. Coupled with his extreme allergy issues - I am living with taking time off from work to visit vets and extreme vet bills. This is my second bully (first not from this breeder) my first one wasn't costly until last 2 years of his life - my vet bill with this bully started at 6 mo. Highly skeptical of the 5 stars they post on their site. My vets (multiple now) agree it has to do with his breeding. DO NOT BUY from this breeder - the dog is in pain and your checkbook will also be. read more

Thank You Carlos for giving us the opportunity to bring home a new member to our family. He is healthy and smart!

I have been looking for a French Bulldog for a few years now and boy am I glad I stumbled upon Bulldogs NY. Carlos was absolutely amazing. They are extremely reputable and make sure to give the puppies the best health possible. Even after picking up my little Stella he still is okay with me giving him a call if I have any questions. Super thorough about how to take care of the puppies, their medical histories, and the policy if something were to happen to your pup. Would HIGHLY recommend! read more

Instead of Mythic Bulldogs they should rename it Mythic Crickets because thats exactly the sound you get when you try to contact them about a bulldog. They have no response to text or call. No point of telling people to call or text if they are interested if you have no intention of answering those calls or texts. Don't waste your time. If you're looking for a bulldog look elsewhere to somebody who will actually respond back to you. read more

Absolutely amazing experience! Carlos was very thorough in explaining any questions we had about our new French bulldog. Milo unfortunately got a cold 2 days after we took him home and Carlos had us return him and payed to take him to the vet and for his medicine, and made sure to do everything in his ability to make sure he was healthy before returning our Milo back to us. I probably asked him questions every two days about everything from potty training to grooming his facial folds, and he very quickly got back to us. Our little guy is now 3 months old, and is a beautiful, happy, healthy boy! I highly recommend Bulldogs bay to anyone looking for a quality bulldog! read more

Absolutely horrible service. This breeder will not contact you back when inquiring about a dog. I've been in the search for a breeder for a while now, and stumbled upon their site. I've emailed them, I've called, I've texted, no response. I've had other people try to contact them, and they would briefly respond but wouldn't answer any questions. If you're serious about getting a bulldog, I suggest not wasting your time with this breeder. Poorly managed is an understatement. read more

Came across this guys website. I called to ask him some questions and set up an appointment to come meet the pups. He stated he had 2 females and 1 male, different from what the website listed. Not a big deal. But what I didn't like is that after speaking with him and setting up an appointment, he didn't follow through with sending me the address to where we would be coming to meet the pups. I thought this guy was legit. I would not recommend him. read more

Bulldog Bay is a bad place. When we saw our beautiful baby, Lexi, we fell in love. Little did we know, she was very problematic. We took her to the vet for a check-up and it turned out that she had mange and a very weak immune system. Our dog was about to die in the first week, so we called the owner of the business and he said that the dog was not his problem anymore. We decided to take care of her because the owner did not care anymore. My son kept praying and kept researching online about her problems. We also found out that the breeder mixes the puppies and the parents to create offspring. THAT IS DISGUSTING!!! When you get your bulldog, ask the owner to show you the dogs' environment and how they act with each other. read more
