The shop's reemergence is still so fresh that the awning and signage haven't been placed just yet, but it's definitely worth a stop. Yes, they have lots of rustic, country home decor and gift items. That's their thing. There's a big fall-themed section with loads of stuffed pumpkins for display, among other autumn-related goods. But they also offer a cute jewelry, clothes, and consignment (all sales final) section. I couldn't resist purchasing a versatile clunky bracelet, and my mom treated herself to pre-birthday earrings and a bracelet that she tried on, loved, and forgot was on her arm until she walked up to the register! For the clothes, they're contemplating creating a dressing room area in a side corner. As of now, you can still try them on via their restroom in the back, which has a full-length mirror. Instead of shelving everything under one broad "romance" section like most bookstores, they had little signs for different tropes and subgenres--billionaire romance, mafia, fantasy, aliens, and so many more. It was such a refreshing way to browse and made it easy to find exactly what I was in the mood for. I also think the concept of pairing a romance bookstore with a sex shop is incredibly unique. The two are separated into different sections of the store, so if you're only interested in browsing books, you never have to enter the sex shop area. I thought that was a really smart layout because it lets people enjoy whichever part they're comfortable with. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're a romance reader. It's one of the most thoughtfully organized bookstores I've visited, and I'll definitely be back.

What a GREAT shop…read more.. The Golden Feather is (what I consider) a boutique shop. There is plenty to see, and is the PERFECT place to shop for gifts. They even have gift cards! What I love the most about the Golden Feather is that everything is unique - it all comes from local artists. They have jewelry, pottery, scarves, artwork, tons of cute things for babies, and lots more... When you walk in, you'll see lots of tables and shelves, with merchandise all over the place! On the walls, on the floors... It's a great at-home feeling, not the sterile shopping experience you get at a department store. There is a lot to see here, so take your time! The prices range - some items are higher than others, but again, keep in mind that the items are handmade... And you are paying for quality. They always have clearance shelves also, I just got something today marked as $60 for 50% off! My mother swears by this place - whenever she has to go to a baby shower/house warming, she comes here for all of her gifts. They have great gift baskets, and they will gift wrap for free. They put your merchandise in a beautiful bag with tissue paper and a peacock feather... Very nice touch. There is a parking lot outside with plenty of parking, and is right off of Rt. 30, so it is super easy to get to. The staff have always been cordial and will help you out with any questions you have.
