We were hungry for anything so I recommend sushi here. From the way past, this place used to be pretty good. Still is & very fast service as well. Sushi was a bit dry for some selections but really good Philly roll. The seating can be odd but if sitting at the chairs by the window; not too bad!

My wife and I stopped here to pick up a takeout dinner as we headed to a cabin we had rented for three days in Blakesley, PA. I placed my takeout order at the bar with Ryan the bartender. He was friendly and helpful. I ordered drunken noodles with beef for my wife and the teriyaki steak dinner for myself. I explained to Ryan that we would like some extra Szechuan spice for the drunken noodles because most Pennsylvania Asian/Thai/Japanese restaurants do not make the drunken noodles spicy enough for our taste. I watched Ryan type in the order for the extra spice on his screen. He also asked how I would like the steak and I said rare, and I also watched him hit the "rare" button on his screen. I had a Yuengling beer and checked my email messages while I waited for 15 minutes for the order to be prepared. I then headed out to my car and drove the 30 minutes to Blakesley, PA. We had dinner shortly after we arrived, and everything was still pretty warm in the Styrofoam take out containers. I can give five stars to the portion sizes..... but that's where my good marks end. There was no Szechuan spice, in the takeout bag or anywhere in its contents. And without it, the drunken noodles were the most bland, dry, and unflavorful drunken noodles we have ever tasted. I wasn't about to drive 30 minutes each way back to Jim Thorpe to get the spice so we just toughed it out and ate about one 1/4 -1/3 of the drunken noodles and threw the rest of them out. I'd rate this entrée as a one star. The side salad that came with the teriyaki steak dinner had lettuce that was a little tired, but not horrible. I would rate the salad two stars The mushroom soup that came with the teriyaki steak was possibly the most bland unflavorful Asian soup I've ever ordered. I would rate the soup one star The teriyaki steak entrée itself was quite tasty, but unfortunately, the steak was not rare and one would be hard put to even call it medium-well done. If I had been dining at the restaurant, I would've sent it back and asked them to do it over. I would rate the teriyaki steak entrée three stars. Note to self... Always check the menu when you arrive at the restaurant for the correct prices. The menus posted on the Facebook page must have been old and the prices in them were significantly less than they are now in October 2025. A total cost (including tip and tax) of the two dinners and the one beer I had while I was waiting for the order to be prepared was $54.35 I rarely ever give poor reviews... But I have to be honest and truthful when I'm writing my reviews or they turn into "puff" pieces. I'm not saying that you shouldn't try this restaurant to see if you might have better success than I did.......But I will not be trying it again.

After walking and touring around the town of Jim Thorpe, me, my wife and our friends got famished, searched for a good place to eat on YELP and we chose to try this establishment. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed that the atmosphere is great and phenomenal, lots of interesting decorations, mostly work of art that I assume is for sale as I saw almost all of them had a price tag. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and was immediately seated. I looked at their menu, they have a wide selection of food and drinks which I perceived is Asian-inspired. Table setting is casual, nice, clean tables and chairs. We ordered Sushi and sashimi combo, shrimp fried rice, shrimp hibachi dinner and bento box A with chicken. All were perfectly prepared, fresh sushi and sashimi, everything was delectable and palatable. I observed and noted that they give large portions and delicious, aromatic, flavorful food. Good value, special mention about their flexibility and being helpful with dietary restrictions and fast service. Staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodating. Great experience, awesome atmosphere, top-notch food taste, good value, wonderful staff, fast service, what more can you ask. So if you happen to be here at Jim Thorpe and decided not to try this restaurant, you are missing a lot. This food establishment is definitely recommendable.

Nice spot located right near the train station. Service was quick and friendly, food was very good. Felt a little "touristy" on the pricing for the drinks, but otherwise really cool spot for a bite to eat. Definitely recommend.

I've been a regular customer of this establishment for approximately 4 years Great food but as far as customer service my wife and I are very disappointed We were asked if we could get a larger table and quickly told no we don't do that Due to surgeries we were accommodated before but today we were should down even before we could explained We promptly decided to leave I was really disappointed on how we were treated and we will no longer patronize this establishment

Stopped in for lunch while visiting Jim Thorpe for my sister's birthday weekend. Place is very eclectic in decoration, and music choices, but fun and interesting. Food was delicious, came out fast and was made fresh. Definitely a must try if you're in the area and want great sushi.

    Drunken Noodles

Food is not good and the place is really cold. They should really turn up their heating during winter. The service for our table was nice. We ordered thai fried rice, drunken noodles and udon. Drunken Noodles was the only one that's good enough. I hope they improve the taste of the food.

Our Waitress was super friendly, the bartender made great drinks. And the food is big enough to share.Totally enjoyed this spot

This place was crowded and there was a bit of a wait on a Friday night, but it was worth it. The staff is very nice. The food is yummy! We enjoyed looking at the art (that's for sale) on the walls. This is a great place to eat while visiting this area.

Beef tatake, eh. Crocodile (back) and angel rolls. Yum!

Cool place set within a crowded, yet cute town. My waitress Adriana was great, and aesthetically, this is a great spot. To start, I got the beef tataki. It was quite fatty and cut too thick, but the staff were accommodating and removed the item from my order right away. I also had the crocodile and angel rolls accompanied by 1 piece of scallop sashimi, all delicious! Their menu has a great variety.

I, and my group, had never seen a hibachi place with seats that are behind the chef and where you cannot see anything. What's the point of hibachi if you're not able to watch the chef? Then, you're crammed into the seats like a pack of sardines. Looking at the menu, the drinks do not have any prices. Our waitresses came around and took our drink orders, they kind of jumped around the table a little - taking order from half of my party and then jumping to one of the tables behind the chef stoves, then back to us. My husband orders a Strawberry Daqauri. I order a Pina Colada Daqauri and a water. Both of these are non-alcoholic. (This information is important for later) Drinks are brought out. It took roughly about 20 to 30 minutes for a chef to make their way around to us, no big deal. The music is loud and we can only hear the person next to us at best. Chef Harry and Nathan come out and starts cooking dinner. He warns us to backup and I cannot because my seat is in front of a beam, mildly dangerous. I had to turn away from the heat and brightness if the flames. Chef Harry starts cooking and he's very entertaining to watch and literally the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. When the protien is being cooked and served, they were served in very small portions. The NY Strip looks more like a flank steak and only had flavor from the fat of the steak. The chicken was dry and tasteless, the chicken teriyaki had no teriyaki. The food is mid, at best. It's absolutely not worth it for cheap chicken and flank steak from probably Aldi. The chef also seemed very confused by what order went to who and I don't really blame him with the amount of people that he has to manage. However, he messed up my friend's meal twice. First confusing his meal with his girlfriend's who was next to him, then the other he placed the shrimp on my other friend's plate then picked it up off her plate and moved it to his. What if they didn't know her or she was allergic to shellfish? We also received only one refill during this time. I drink a lot of water while eating so this was hard. Dinner wraps up, checks are served. My husband's Daqauri was $6 and mine was rang in as a virgin Pina Colada (I told them Daqauri) at $9. After mentioning this to the server, they have no way of ringing in a Pina Colada flavor for a Daqauri. She went to speak to her manager and we're informed that actually my husband's drink was also supposed to be $9 because all the virgin drinks are that much (much doubt). Then she walked away. Once the chef is done, they pretty much push you out the door, whether you're done eating or not, so they can turn the table. This is a tourist scam. Save your money and find another hibachi place.

We visit Jim Thorpe annually and were excited to try this place given its vegan options. When we entered the restaurant, the set-up was a little confusing. They did seat us pretty quickly though, and the service was probably the only positive to this experience. My husband and I both ordered cocktails; he had the Manhattan while I had a special vodka drink they were offering that day. Our drinks were overall fine but not anything special. My husband's Manhattan was very basic tasting. The menu and the food were the worst parts. The menu is unnecessarily long and phony sounding, like they are trying to be quirky but just come across as fake and condescending. There's extra, unnecessary description of the food that makes the menu difficult and frankly annoying to review. We ordered the bread teaser as well as the hummus. The pesto and the hummus were basic store level quality. The bread was definitely undercooked. For our entrees, we ordered the Cleopatra salad and a pasta dish. The salad tasted fine enough but it was basically just romaine lettuce with a very light dusting of nutritional yeast, vegan cheese, and a very low amount of chickpeas/protein. The pasta was an absolute travesty. It was extremely oily, flavorless, and bland. To top it all off, the food is extremely expensive! They have absolutely no business charging that much. The interior of the place is also a waste of space. It doesn't make any sense that it calls itself a pub. There's also stupid decor everywhere, including a sign that says "no" leading out to an employee-only location. I guess that's supposed to be funny but just comes across as condescending. It's a shame that this place has such a good location with Jim Thorpe and apparently can make a pretty penny serving subpar food and weird vibes. Don't waste your money.
