Overall, would not come back unless everywhere else in town was closed. To start, the service is very sub-par. We went two separate days, and got two different servers each time, that both did not come to our tables but maybe two times. Thankfully, the hostess/busser was very polite and helpful. Secondly, the pricing of their food is definitely due to the area it is placed in, which unfortunately is too much in my opinion. Finally, we had breakfast, lunch and dessert here within two days. The breakfast tasted out-of-date, the lunch was better and more flavorful, and the desserts were perfect (but how can you really mess up a crème brûlée and brookie?)

10/4/25 We were in town for the fall festival and stopped in for breakfast. It was crazy busy, after about 30mins we got a high table by the bar. Becasue there was only 1 bartender, we had to wait a long time for the bartender to come take our order. During a rush like this they should have a wait staff for this section instead of relying on the bartender to serve as wait staff. Anyways, the food was good. Broadway Breakfast was a good platter Cinnamon Bun Pancakes were delicious, I recommend this!

Stopped in for lunch because it was cold out and I saw chicken pot pie on the menu posted outside. Turns out the menu was out of date and it's no longer on the menu. Grrrr! So, I had a cup of creamy chicken soup and a short rib grilled check with house made chips. The soup came promptly. It was very good, but not hot. That was discouraging. The sandwich, however was amazing. No shortage of beef, delicious bread, perfectly toasted. And their chips are amazing! I'll always take chips over an upgrade to fries. So, a couple small fails, but an overall win.

Great spot to stop by for lunch after walking around town. There might be a bit of a wait if you come in during a busy time, but you can always walk around town while you wait. Plenty of options on the menu. I ordered the bruschetta chicken sandwich and it was perfect! The outside area is so beautifully decorated for fall.

Beautiful decor. Good service. Enjoyed our food. Reasonable prices. Eggplant panini was excellent as were burgers and salads.

We went here on a Thursday night and the place was packed. The food was good but I won't say it was excellent. It was reasonably priced and the staff were all very nice, kind, checked on our table 3 times with a smile inspite of the crowd. I would return

Went there to while visiting Jim Thorpe, we got there for late lunch. Ordered a sparkling pear martini and a smoked old fashioned, both very tasteful and very well put together. Ordered chicken wings with chili hot honey sauce, they're perfect big size and lots of flavor on the sauce. Then we had a eggplant panini and a crispy chicken sandwich. The panini had a great flavor, fresh ingredients (cheese, roasted peppers, spinach & eggplants). We also had the crispy chicken sandwich, it was over fried-you could use it as an instrument, couldn't pick up any flavor since it was fried for too long. Then as a second drink we ordered two espresso martinis, they're perfect big both had great flavor but they added some sort whip cream on top and it just didn't go with the drink, it got a little harden so it was a little hard to drink and push the whipped cream away. Overall it was a great experience, would come back but won't get the chicken sandwich again for sure. Restaurant had an old town charm, great service too,

The Broadway Grill was a quiet and very welcome retreat for us amid the rushing tourists that filled Jim Thorp on a weekend that saw the leaves start to turn. The menu was good, but with tourist-town prices. We were seated on one of the outside balconies with a view of the meandering crowds below. Shrimp tacos... Yum! My wife loved her burger.

We found this place because I was looking for somewhere I could get a beer and walk out and around the town of Jim Thorpe (I believe they allow it here). But ended up staying for the vibes and plus we were super hungry. I wish I remembered our waitresses name but I believe she had pink in her hair. She allowed me and my girlfriend to sample some beers that she thought we would like because we were hesitant and what to order. We got the sangria sour beer and the white ale which were perfect for us. We also saw online that everyone loved the smash burger so we had to try it. We added truffle fries for 3 dollars which was so worth it. Some of the best fries we have ever had. Also I think we decided it was the best smash burger we have ever had. We both have never tried bacon jam and we were a bit hesitant about the pimento cheese as well. I think my favorite moment from this trip was sitting at the bar here and eating this meal. Plus the burger lived up to the hype. Thank you to the waitress we had you made our day!

We visit Jim Thorpe annually and were excited to try this place given its vegan options. When we entered the restaurant, the set-up was a little confusing. They did seat us pretty quickly though, and the service was probably the only positive to this experience. My husband and I both ordered cocktails; he had the Manhattan while I had a special vodka drink they were offering that day. Our drinks were overall fine but not anything special. My husband's Manhattan was very basic tasting. The menu and the food were the worst parts. The menu is unnecessarily long and phony sounding, like they are trying to be quirky but just come across as fake and condescending. There's extra, unnecessary description of the food that makes the menu difficult and frankly annoying to review. We ordered the bread teaser as well as the hummus. The pesto and the hummus were basic store level quality. The bread was definitely undercooked. For our entrees, we ordered the Cleopatra salad and a pasta dish. The salad tasted fine enough but it was basically just romaine lettuce with a very light dusting of nutritional yeast, vegan cheese, and a very low amount of chickpeas/protein. The pasta was an absolute travesty. It was extremely oily, flavorless, and bland. To top it all off, the food is extremely expensive! They have absolutely no business charging that much. The interior of the place is also a waste of space. It doesn't make any sense that it calls itself a pub. There's also stupid decor everywhere, including a sign that says "no" leading out to an employee-only location. I guess that's supposed to be funny but just comes across as condescending. It's a shame that this place has such a good location with Jim Thorpe and apparently can make a pretty penny serving subpar food and weird vibes. Don't waste your money.

They seemed a little understaffed for the season, though the staff that were there were super friendly and doing their best to keep things moving. Outdoor seating was really nice. Breezy, shaded, and a good spot to rest your feet after being out all day. Indoors is small but cozy in that old-town way. A lot of people stop here because there's a restroom, so there's constant movement, but even with all the traffic the place stayed clean and the staff stayed kind. The food was solid. I ordered the stew and it was exactly the kind of hearty dish I wanted. Rich gravy, tender meat, and it was served over mashed potatoes that soaked everything up in the best way. Comfort food without being heavy in a bad way. Portions were medium but fair for the price. It did take a long time to get my box and check at the end, but considering how busy they were it made sense. Overall, it's a nice spot in a charming little town and a good place to take a break while exploring all the autumn-vibe streets around it.

The murder mystery itself was the highlight, the storyline was engaging, and the actors were clearly well-trained in improv and very kind. Murder Mystery: 8/10 The room was fairly standard, what you'd expect in an old-timey house. No TV or modern extras, but there were plenty of charging outlets, which was appreciated. Room: 7/10 The food during the stay was incredibly disappointing. Most of it felt like reheated microwave meals. Breakfast included eggs, bacon (very thin, broken pieces), cubed potatoes that were oddly watery, ham slices, stale danishes, cereal cups, and a parfait option that had run out by our 9am time slot. Dinner was similar in quality. I chose the cheese ravioli, but despite being second in line, it was cold. The same watery potatoes from breakfast were served again, along with green beans. The only highlight was the coffee, which was good. Food: 2/10 Unfortunately, the parking situation is very poor. There are only 5-6 spots directly outside and a few more up the hill behind the carriage house. I was dropped off at check-in and informed staff that my boyfriend would be arriving late. I was assured there would be parking available and that staff would be present 24/7 to assist him. However, I woke up to a call from him saying he couldn't find parking. I went downstairs to get help, but no staff could be found. Not wanting to disturb other guests, I eventually gave up, and he had to park on the street in the neighborhood on top of the hill overnight. At breakfast, we were briefly told about additional parking behind the carriage house, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the issue from the night before, nor any attempt to make it right. Parking: 1/10 The staff overall seemed inexperienced and, at times, unprofessional. While I empathize with younger staff members, there were several uncomfortable moments--such as hearing an employee joke about "killing" another staff member over a small mistake, and staff walking away mid-conversation while we were trying to ask follow-up questions. Staff: 4/10 Overall, there were some enjoyable elements, especially the murder mystery, but the experience didn't quite match the price point. With a few key improvements, this could be a much more worthwhile stay.

The mansion's impressive facade could have been taken from a Gothic novel, so much so that the building's design caught the eye of Disney Imagineers where my partner, his aunt, and I came to take some photos last Saturday. For my entree, asked the server if I could please have extra vegetables instead of noodles, and she said that there was a "language barrier" in the kitchen, so she didn't want to ask that. I thought that was an odd comment for her to make. My daughter ordered some sushi rolls and liked them, and my husband and our friend also liked their sushi; so maybe sushi is a better choice here. The first thing that we noticed that was interesting was the eerie music playing. At first I thought it wasn't bad, but the longer we stayed the creepier the restaurant became. More people left and the unlit street outside was pretty creepy as well. Drinks were decent but service was surprisingly slow and seemed a bit understaffed for a Saturday night which I thought was weird. Our appetizer was the melted mozzarella on focaccia with chimichurri and honey (too much of both). The bread was super soggy and cheese was half melted and wet as well. The restaurant is tucked into the hand-built stone rowhouses, surrounded by vibrant colors, artwork, and even a few birds outside the windows. It caught my eye right away, and I'm glad it did. Note for diners: Moya is closed Monday-Wednesday, and I'd recommend making a reservation if you can. I visited on a very busy weekend in Jim Thorpe and managed to get seated around 4:30pm on Saturday without one, but the restaurant filled quickly and I think I got lucky. Inside, the space is eclectic and beautiful--rich colors on the walls, abstract art throughout (which I later learned is by the chef's wife, who co-owns the restaurant and has her studio in the same building). The atmosphere felt upscale yet comfortable, and the quiet dining room was perfect for good conversation. Our total bill came to $95.90 before tip, and it was worth every penny. Moya's menu is designed for sharing, and that's exactly what we did. Drinks: Pineapple Cosmo ($13) - perfectly sweet without being over the top, even enjoyed by a bourbon drinker. Apple Brandy Sidecar ($14) - well-balanced and beautifully made. Plates we shared: Burrata ($18) - served warm on focaccia with an olive & herb tapenade. My first time trying burrata, and I loved it. The warmth was unexpected but wonderful, and the tapenade set it off perfectly. Fresh Gnocchi ($29) - with jumbo lump crab meat and fresh tomato cream sauce. The gnocchi were perfectly dense without being heavy, and the crab chunks were huge--bigger than the gnocchi themselves! So fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Prosciutto Salad ($18) - spinach, dried figs, gorgonzola, spiced candied nuts, balsamic glaze. Generous prosciutto on top, and the dried figs added such a clever texture and depth. A lighter dish that paired beautifully with the richness of the burrata and gnocchi. What stood out most about Moya's food was its simplicity. No over-complication, no excess of ingredients--just perfectly chosen flavors that worked in harmony and allowed each element to shine. Every dish felt thoughtful and intentional. Service was excellent--attentive without being intrusive. The bathrooms were clean, the vibe inside was intimate, and everything about the evening felt special. No on-site parking, but there's plenty of street and community parking nearby, and Jim Thorpe is a lovely walking town. My suggestion? Spend the afternoon strolling through town, enjoy dinner at Moya, then take a romantic walk down to the train tracks and water afterward. Moya isn't an everyday dinner spot for me, but it's absolutely on my list for celebrating something special--or just celebrating each other.
