The food was awesome! the green fried tomatoes covered with carrot flour were amazing. Service friendly and proficient and ambience made you feel in Rhon, France.

Food was decent but wasn't anyplace my party would go back to. I would like to suggest better options in town including Martin's for the Cuban sandwich. They charge for a take out box which I have never seen. They gave frozen cocktail sauce with the shrimp, another first for me. Greek pasta salad & fries were good side options that we enjoyed. Everything was served on beautiful plates. Bison burger was delicious but staff seemed upset that we didn't know how to order it. We didn't say medium. Supposedly "no one ever asked before " to have well done. Staff was pleasant at times ...overwhelmed at the next. Seemed to be one person serving until kitchen staff came out and helped with food service. We ended up going up to counter to pay because the owner/server/ was dealing with deliveries and chit chatting swearing about keg order. All in all, seemed like it was geared toward much older locals who weren't on any lunch break time constraints. For a party of six all to agree to not go back here again, I wanted to share our experience. Check out Yellow Deli & Broken Spur instead both in same immediate area.

In the area for some antique shopping with my friends and stopped in for a quick something to drink and eat. We parked in the connecting lot so I didn't feel like walking far to get something since hubs was in need for a sprite. Upon entering I walked up to the bar area where from what appeared to be the owner or manager asked the young girl working to help me. The young girl was in the middle of getting a receipt ready for a table she was waiting and when I made eye contact with her I let her know she could take her time since I didn't know what I wanted. The place looked run down but it did have a few tables with customers dining in for breakfast. The drink menu was limited and they didn't have sprite. I got him a ginger ale and myself an iced caramel macchiato. I saw they had croissants so I asked if I could get a chocolate one warmed. The young lady was so nice. She got an older gentleman to come out and make my drink. I was waiting on my croissant to warm and a man came in and stood behind me, the owner waited on him and since I was standing there waiting to pay we both thought she was ringing me up but then she looked at him and told him his total. He looked at me and said "I thought she was waiting on you" to which I replied I guess not and we both laughed and I told him to go ahead. He was hesitant but I insisted since I was still waiting on the croissant. He did and thanked me. As she's now ringing me up, a customer that had been sitting at a table since before I walked in approached the counter. Without even looking at her the owner blurts out that someone will be with her soon and to have a seat. The lady said she was just wondering when they could get service since they had been sitting there for a while. The owner then yells to the back "can someone get out here and wait on this table, these folks are impatient and need to be waited on now!" I was in awe at that. If that were me, I would've walked out and gone someplace else. That was rude. No matter how busy you are, it's not cool to be that way towards customers. Reading through some of the other reviews I can see that this seems to be a norm. Everyone was cordial to me but I firsthand saw the treatment that others have referenced. My croissant was done warming and I was on my way. The caramel latte (I ordered a macchiato) was pretty good. The croissant didn't seem fresh. It was maybe day old. Stiff bread and the chocolate wasn't even melty despite it being a bit warm. Hubs ended up eating it.

Three weeks following my my review a comment on my profile picture as seen in the picture, the owner confronted me at my car as I was heading to my next job, angrily accusing me of leaving a review about an unexpected charge that overdrew my account. She further complained about my review to my supervisor, who frequents her restaurant for coffee, and disparaged me. I verified with colleagues who occasionally dine at her establishment that the prices they paid matched what I believed to be the correct amount, and I have never been given any complimentary items or discounts to my knowledge, unless such perks were provided without my awareness.

What a lovely restaurant. The people that work there are so nice and friendly. The food was delicious. I had the gator bites, french fries and coleslaw. The Gator bites were good and their fries, I'm not sure what they're cooked in, but were really good. The restaurant is in a good location. We enjoyed dining here.

This is one of the few restaurants/cafeterias that was open in Arcadia on a Sunday while I was visiting. myshelly's is open daily from 6.30 in the morning to 5.30 in the afternoon, and serves breakfast until 11.30 am and the switches to their lunch menu. Breakfast consists mostly of eggs, waffles, bagels and omelettes and lunch is mostly made up of sandwiches and salads. The cafeteria itself is rather plain and sits around 50 people. It was a little busy today and so the service was on the slower side, but I was impressed that they let me order an omelette from the breakfast menu for lunch. This is a mom and pop place and I would go back to support them again.

Breakfast special! Half eaten of coarse!

The food was another story- we had a white choc raspberry waffle which was the worst waffle I have ever tried, seriously I could only eat 2 bites. It was very thin, so youd think it'd be crispy, but it was actually super soft, then they drenched it in raspberry sauce with a bit of chocolate sauce added.. they did not offer to remake or offer anything different and i could not eat it at all. My bf had the breakfast burrito and said it was bland but edible. You order at the register, and the cashier was friendly enough. They give you a number, then you seat yourself and they bring out the drinks/food. They took the number after bringing out the food but we still did not have the coffee drinks, so we had to flag the person down when they finally brought them. They collect the dishes at the tables, and I let them know the waffle was terrible- they didn't care, just took it away uneaten. They did have strawberries and a chocolate fountain today, which was a cool idea. But overall, we won't likely return for food again.

Great menu options, fun drinks, and a lovely interior. Not to mention the food was really good too. My daughter had the croissant with whipped cream and Nutella and loved it. I had the avocado toast with salmon and it was delightful. Id visit again.

WoW get ready to eat or bring it home. Very hearty portions of homemade scratch food! The corn beef hash looked and smelled delicious, the unbenny my mom had also was fantastic! I cannot think of the name of my sandwich but it was the rolled biscuit with eggs and meat, I did not have meat but added avocado (which is extra as well as potatoes) other sister enjoyed the endless mimosas with Country fried steak, which she has never had but said it was great. Definitely give this gem off of I-75 in Punta Gorda a try. The interior was Very Happy! I love it

Starting off with the ambience, the place is SUPER cute, decorated with a color theme I call "sherbet whimsy" with a smattering of smiling emojis. Our party of 6 was warmly greeted at the counter and immediately seated together. We started off with their delicious coffee, some hot & some cold...all excellent! The menu is fairly extensive for a breakfast joint, so the server gave us some good recommendations & said everything here is house made. Wow! OK... so we all got different menu items, and despite being warned about the HUGE portions...we could not have fathomed how large they are, but the prices do reflect how much food you're going to get! The breakfast burrito could easily feed four people. Our lone young male in the group - who might have a tapeworm based upon his ability to devour gigantic amounts of food - did his best, but could only consume about 2/3 of it. He said it was amazing, especially when paired with their delicious house made hot sauce. Two of us got two different bennie breakfasts, and raved about the hollandaise, the stretched "biscuits" & the fried chicken. Despite being smallish young ladies, they put a good dent in their meals. One of us got the outstanding corned beef hash, and thankfully generously shared with yours truly!! She could not eat even half of her meal, so I was glad to help out! :) The corned beef hash is not your standard ground-up version from a can. It is house made, with larger bits of potato, corned beef, onions & peppers. They get a perfect scald on it & serve it up with eggs & thick sliced perfectly toasted/buttered toast. My picky husband got the chorizo scramble with a side of fruit & really enjoyed it. I got the fantastic avocado toast with a side of potatoes. Everything was perfect... the thick slices of toasted wheat bread adorned with melted cheese then topped with very fresh & perfectly ripe avocado slices. I didn't prefer their scrambled eggs & should have gotten them fried instead, but it was still perfectly good, especially when dipped in their hot sauce. Thankfully my husband shared some of his fresh fruit, which was ripe & good. I dipped the pineapple into that hot sauce, which was delicious together. The place is very clean, including the bathrooms. The clientele were a menagerie from various demographics...retirees, blue collar workers, bikers, vacationers; everyone was pleasant & seemed to be enjoying their meals. This was one of the better meals we had during our trip, and definitely the best breakfast by far. It's so close to the airport, too. I'm so glad we got up early enough to be able to fit in a stop here before catching our flight home.
