My fiance messed up his painting and the instructor helped him fix it and get him back on track. Our paintings are great but we have two of the same so the next time we went back we did a couples painting. This instructor was even better. Step by step instructions, lots of fun and interaction with us painters and she was so clear about how to do the next step. She also started a little early since everyone had arrived and it gave us a few extra minutes to complete harder steps. I never felt rushed and I love the idea of the SOS day to get help if you feel your painting isn't something you are ready to hang on the wall! Can't wait to go back Edit: just picked up my at home paint kit. Pick up was so easy and everything was nicely packaged. Should make for a fun date night!

I had the pleasure of attending their "Christmas in July" class. I've never been to an AR workshop class before and had no idea what to expect. Upon entering they have your crafts laid out and labeled with your name on it. Shortly after a large bachelorette party came in and no one had a mask on! I thought maybe the employees would ask us to put our mask on so I kept mine on. The employees gave a welcome address to us all to let us know how the session would work. At the end of the speech the employees said we didn't have to wear a mask !! There was well over 20 people in this class and with the exception of myself and one other employee no one was wearing a mask despite the current mandate by the Governor. I made a custom pillow and the staff was so nice and helpful. Each table is given an AR employee to guide you along the way with paint and power tools for the ones making wooden signs. The staff had individual bags of Christmas cookies and festive Christmas music to make things fun. I really enjoyed making my project and would consider returning once the Pandemic is over. My hope would be that the Mechanicsville AR team takes the necessary steps to keep their customers and themselves safe throughout this pandemic.

Honestly, it ended up being one of the most fun experiences our team has had! The staff was extremely attentive and welcoming! shoutout to Colin and Jake! The facility was clean, the food was good, and the drinks were cold. They also provided videos and pictures from our event, which was a really nice touch and gave us something to look back on and laugh about. I know the price may seem a little steep, especially for larger groups, but honestly, I can say that we had a great time every minute we were there. Our team will definitely be coming back, and personally, I'll be bringing my wife next time so she can check it out too! Thanks again for an awesome experience!

The first time we came it was on time and we loved the Dragon Tower escape room: it was the perfect mix of puzzle and action. This time we showed up 10 minutes early and they said they were running 5-10 minutes behind because of "cleaning issues". Well it turned into 20 minutes late so thankfully we already canceled our dinner reservations. I think it would've been fine if it wasn't $250 for a family of five for 38 minutes and the ninja trials escape room was not as exciting or interesting as dragon tower. Also one of the equipment pieces we were given was faulty so that made it less fun for one of us.

He told us after we got there once the young ladies in front of us were done we could connect with Bluetooth to play our own tunes while we took pictures! He gave us a flash fob for our phone so we could easily take pictures and a tripod selfie stand to help us take good photos! The couple areas we were sad about is: AC was either off or not working which made it really hot in the building because, it's a brick building it radiated heat inside. Also it was obvious a few rooms were in transition changes... which made us sad cause one room I was looking forward to was a purple room with a bike and we got there no bike. Also they had transitioned their swing room from yellow to pink which I wasn't necessarily sad about but my besties favorite color is yellow so I had hyped up this room only to not have it for our photos. So all in all I would definitely go back so I could see what new things they do with some of the rooms! And the customer service spot on! I think it would be wise if they put on their gallery photos rooms subject to change! Just so people know they may not get a certain room everytime. BUT GO HAVE FUN CHECK THEM OUT!!
