I absolutely hate driving, but I came all the way to Bothell to visit this salon because a dear friend of mine gave it a glowing recommendation. After picking the brains of my friends who have lash extensions to make sure I knew what I was getting myself into, I made an appointment with Alexa. Having never gotten eyelash extensions before, I was a bit nervous- but she sat me down and made sure I got exactly what I was looking for, went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable the entire time, and the entire place was spotless and quiet. I love this place! I was afraid to get lash extensions because I had them done about 2 years ago and was in pain every time my eyes got wet. Decided to take the plunge again because I loved how they looked and thought it would be nice to not worry about eye makeup for a few weeks. I got a Groupon in March and called to make an appointment for the following Saturday. The lobby is beautiful, bright and clean. There was no one at the front desk for my first visit (nor is there usually) but I was quickly greeted by Khue and was told she would be with me in a few minutes. They have water and complementary tea/coffee while you wait. After finishing up with her previous client, Khue came to get me and walked me back to one of the rooms. They work on you in a comfortable recliner as opposed to a flat table. You also get a soft, cushy blanket to keep you warm. I love the blankets there and they usually put me to sleep pretty quickly :) I think my first appointment took about 2.5-3 hours. Khue and I chatted for most of it - she's super sweet and has done all of my fills for me except for one. I feel like she does her best to get as many lashes on my super short and straight Asian eyelashes. Jessie did my other fill and she did a fabulous job as well. I constantly get compliments on how pretty my lashes are. I have not had any issues with my eyes hurting after getting wet. There is sometimes some stinging during the first 24 hours after application, but it's mild and goes away quickly. I don't notice it as much when I'm not wearing my contacts either. I go back every 2-3 weeks. Fills take between 1-2 hours for me, usually 2 if I haven't been for 3 weeks. Can't imagine going anywhere else. I love MyLash Lounge! read more

Technicians are inconsistent with quality of work and customer service is sub par. I had been going here for over a year and you never know what you are going to get when asking for something specific. Vic is a technician I would avoid. Scheduling is convenient and prices when paid with cash are decent- which is why I continued to frequent this location. Not worth the money or time spent overall after multiple negative experiences and such an ongoing lack of customer service. I also question hygiene as I have gotten an eye infection after getting my lashes done here. The last straw was when I wanted something natural and I left looking ridiculous with the outer part of my lashes drooping down on both sides. I was told she couldn't fix it for a few days and advised me to go home and cut them. read more

I would recommend calling Mia to get your lashes done. She has been doing my lashes for 2 years now and I always get compliments! She really does a good job creating a look you want the compliments the shape of your eyes. My lashes last 3 weeks and with the help of some lash syrum they stay healthy. As soon as you walk in it's fresh and bright, I've either been greeted or had one of the gals say hello and confirm my appt from one of the rooms she was working in. Either way I like both I usually show up a few min before my appointment. So it's nice to sit and have a cup of jasmine tea that is in the waiting room. So I've been coming here for a couple years now- overall, great experience. In the last few months, I have to say the experience has gone down hill. They are consistently double booking or calling to reschedule at inconvenient times for me, calling to say someone has 'stomach cramps' and can't do the appointment, a lot of times late when I get there. The only reason I'm even giving these two stars is because I like Jessie and the attention to detail she has when doing lashes. I've come to this place three times now and the first two visits took a lot longer than I expected but that was fine. My third visit was just ridiculous. I walked in 5 minutes before my 2pm appointment and waited for someone to come out. I heard someone say hi but wasn't sure who they were talking to so I proceeded to get myself some tea and a snack. This place does not have a front desk person which is probably something they should look at. All the stylists are usually in the rooms and do not have time to take phone calls or greet clients. Bottom line, I waited for 55minutes for my 30minute lash fill. Just as I wasn't going to wait any longer, I heard someone wrap up with a client and walk out. She came out with the scheduling book and asked me and two other girls what time their appointments were. At this point, both mine and the 2:30 appointments were past due. I told the girl that I called yesterday and made the appointment and she saw that it was written in the book. Obviously someone did not pay attention/overbooked. I got a quick apology and was taken back within a few minutes. I'm giving this place only 2 stars because although they realized they messed up, the quality of work is not consistent with all the stylists. AND they charged me full price after I was done. I love My. I have followed her wherever she goes. I won't trust anyone else to do my lashes other than her and I learned this the hard way! I have been to her salon in downtown Seattle, Kirkland (fabulash) and now bothell (mylash lounge). My is personable and does an impeccable job. The only reason why I tried diff lash people was because she was so far away (I live in Renton and she was in bothell). After having terrible service (lash addict) and snappy attitudes from lash ladies I thought - why am I wasting my time and money to get treated poorly? I made the trek to bothell and even though it's out of my way, at the end of the day, my lashes speak for itself. Full, voluminous and from corner to corner, no lash is left without an extension. This is the quality of work any woman who has extensions shapeless expect! I will always go to My no matter the distance! Her new place is amazing, reminds me of a winter wonderland. The chairs recline and are super comfortable. She also provides blankets and neck warmers. They also offer microblading which I did not do but if it's My, I'd trust the quality and price! read more

I bought a Groupon for this place (I know, I know.... you get what you pay for). It was a bit of a feat getting my initial appointment made. I tried their online appointment scheduler first, but it was down. Tried calling a few times & left messages with no callback. Finally I emailed them thru their contact link on their website & I got a message back saying "We have have booking online yet . We all working in the room so couldn't pick up the call but we always return call between clients . You should call again or left the massage next time . Thank you." Ok so clearly we have a language barrier too. I'm sorry, but it is hugely frustrating to me when I can't communicate with someone that I'm trying to do business with. Maybe not such a big deal when it comes to pedicures (cuz we're all used to that), but when I'm trying to make an appointment where my eyes are going to be taped shut & they're speaking in a foreign language it's a bit disheartening. I honestly would have given up by this point, but I'd already purchased the Groupon & it was non-refundable (I checked). I called back & got thru & made my appointment. EUREKA!! Arriving at the Bothell location, the lobby is beautiful!! Everything is so bright & shiny & clean!! No one really greeted me. I stood there for a few minutes until a customer walked out of a room followed by a technician. She walked me back to a room where there were two comfy recliners & I took a seat. I've only ever laid on a table to have lashed applied, so this was a nice touch. I thought it was neat that there were two recliners in the room (you know, in case you & your girlfriend want to get lashes at the same time). The language barrier was so bad that she couldn't understand me at all. She had to do get another technician to translate when I was asking to see the different lengths of lashes available. So finally we get started & I will say she took extra care applying the little gel patches under my eyes. I've found this part pretty uncomfortable in the past & this time it was barely noticeable. Plus she only did the eye she was working on, so I didn't have unnecessary stuff stuck to my eyes for an extended amount of time. About halfway thru my first eye, they walk a second customer into my room & sit her in the chair next to me. This is quite distracting considering I can't open my eyes, I've got two women speaking in Korean & a customer trying to get settled. I honestly couldn't believe what was happening, but apparently this is a normal thing. There were several other open rooms, so not sure why they chose mine, but whatever. I'm happy with my lashes so far. We'll see how they hold up. I have a fill in a couple weeks, so stay tuned for an update. read more

My is the best! I have been going to her for 6 years and she has never been disappointed me. I started seeing her at Myano in downtown Seattle and will follow her anywhere she goes. I've had to go to other places when she is out of town and have been upset every time. She takes her time and listens to what you want. She knows what I like and never have to tell her it doesn't look right. When she does my lashes they stay on for at least 3 weeks and still look like you just had them done. I unfortunately was going here for several months. I knew there may be an issue the first time I was asked repeatedly to scoot backwards in the recliner they do lashes in. The chair is unstable. Well, unfortunately my person, in the middle of my lash extension appointment, got up! No warning no nothing.I was in such a trusting position. I flipped backwards on to the ground . The chair and all. The lash lady screamed . There I was, on the ground, feet above my head on my back!The worst part, is when it came time to pay, I had to pay the full amount! No offer of less , nothing. By doing this, they obviously don't value their customers. The chairs they have are unacceptable, unsafe, and cheap. I went to a lash place in Everett with a table. Honestly I've never committed to one lash lady, as I'm used to moving around quite a bit. Ever since I went to Mia at the Bothell location, I have fallen head over heels in LOVE with the way she blesses my life with amazing, long, and voluptuous lashes! Most importantly, she does my lashes the way I want them done as opposed to the way she wants them done or "would usually do them" so to speak. I have been coming to MyLash Lounge for about a year now (give or take due to Covid shutdown). My lashes come out consistently full and I find I have the best lash retention from my services here vs other salons. I regularly see Mia or Alexa and am always happy with my results! Chairs are comfortable and salon always seems clean. My only complaint is the light in one of the rooms seems extremely bright and always gives me a bad headache. I have been going to mylash for a couple months now and I used to refer everyone I knew to go there but then they changed the prices and they raised quite a bit and the last couple times I have got my lashes done there they just don't look good. Overall, disappointing experience. I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment. The lobby was full of boxes and looked like they had just moved in. No one was at the front desk, and I waited a couple minutes until a lash tech walked out. She seemed very confused to see me. I showed her my appointment confirmation but they had double booked my spot. She called who I assumed was the owner/boss, and I spoke to her on the lash tech's phone. She offered no apologies or explanations, but offered to get me on the schedule the following day. It left me with an anxious, icky feeling in my stomach. I wish I could leave zero stars! My daughter saved up her money to have her lashes done before a trip. She spent time showing them pictures and describing what she wanted. The lash technician "Vic" seemed rushed. My daughter called me from the car in tears. Her lashes look AWFUL (see attached photos of what she asked for and what she received). She went back and they argued with her and wouldn't take time to fix it. Then I called them and spoke to Q who also argued with me. I asked to speak to the manager and was lied to about who the manager was (it was the woman i was speaking to) and whether or not she was in. I left a message never received a callback. Within 13 hours lashes were falling out in clumps. I called the next day and was told I should call the owner in Renton. I called and she "wasn't there"! After looking at their reviews here I see they have no interest in customer service. That coupled with the crappy job that they did and the cheap materials they used compelled me to leave this review to warn others about their shady business and complete lack of customer service. read more
