So the following year when I went in for my contacts exam, I was surprised that he didn't even mention the eye map test or macular degeneration at all. I asked the woman at the desk for a copy of my exam records and she told me no. She flat out refused to let me see any of my own exam records! Pearle Vision is a sham! They also were high pressure about selling glasses when I was only there for contacts. I will no longer be going there. Also after that, I went to a different eye specialist for a second opinion, and was told I didn't have any macular degeneration at all, which was such a relief! I really don't recommend Dr. Amundson at all.

We were able to get our exams, meet with the doctor, and pick out our frames in a matter of an hour. The girl that helped us with picking our frames was so nice. We were told it'd be about 10 business days before our glasses would be in, and it was exactly a week when they called to say they were in. Picking up our glasses was such a quick and easy process. I have zero complaints about the whole process from setting up the appointments to getting our glasses.

I did NOT have that experience . Everyone was very nice. The Dr. was kind, very thorough . He spent a lot of time making sure I was going to get the correct lenses. I read they didn't run your insurance, not true again. Virginia ran my insurance several different ways to see best price for certain add ons. She had a good sense of humor, was knowledgeable, and kind. I was given clear, written instructions on when my glasses would be in. I will definitely recommend them, and be back! Only 1 thing they could improve, they tell you to look at frames while waiting on appointment, but, don't tell you , without asking, which frames are for the $89 deal.

They put drops in my eyes and I had no clue what they put in my eyes because they didn't tell me. Then I was told to go wait in the lobby, my vision all of a sudden got blurry as I was looking at my phone so I had to frantically call my mom to try to figure out what was going on. eventually they came out to get me and observe my eyes. They failed to ask if I was driving or anything like that. So, I had to drive home with a very blurry vision, which is very dangerous from the doctors failure to inform me what was going on.
