Long story, short version...Mahan delivered me the wrong prescription contact lenses. I had trouble seeing with them and when I dug deeper, discovered that this was the case. They gave me the wrong prescription! Since I opened the boxes (which is how I discovered that they didn't work properly), I was informed that NO refund or replacement would made. They pulled out some kind of unsigned disclosure form and emailed me it. They never at anytime were concerned with the fact that I have been wearing the wrong lenses! Vision works is a wonderful place to order glasses from. Though their prices are a little higher than others around you're buying quality. My family have chosen other places to order their glasses, they bundle things like glare free, scratch resistant etc. Not one family member has expressed satisfaction in glasses. I have never had a problem with their staff, they are always friendly, quick to serve and they do not pressure sell. They offer you options and if you say no that's fine. Last week their sales man Charlie assisted me, not only was he extremely polite and made me feel like his priority. He was also practically running the whole room, assisting others with joy and care, cleaning up as he went, never rushing his customers though it was the peek bust lunch hour, I got in and out within great timing. Their glasses options are good, there's one brand I'm hooked on, Longchamp, which is part of the reason I keep coming back. So, I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews for this location, and I'm going to call shenanigans on those reviewers. In fact, most of them read like overly entitled weenies too accustomed to having their butts kissed and have clearly never had to deal with the public before. What can I say? When you're born with a silver spoon up your ass and told the whole world should grovel at your feet, you tend to start waving your "friends" (Franklin, Jackson, grant) around and spouting b.s. legalese like the world owes you something. Yea, I'm talking to you, boomer. The people at this location have been extremely nice and pleasant both times I've gotten glasses there. Both pairs were a good price, good quality, and I received them more quickly than I had expected. Their optometrists are kind and work efficiently, and the sales staff uses a light hand when it comes to upselling. A simple "nah, I'll be ok with one pair" made the point. No hard sell means I'll be back. If anything, I wish they carried Oakley glasses, but the ray-bans I ordered should be pretty equal in quality, so I'm satisfied. I normally reserve five-star reviews for top-tier places, but I thought I'd give y'all a counterpoint to the rampant trolling that appears to be coming from some customers. They're full of shit. Great experience; had more explained to me at 30 years old than I ever have had before. (Worn glasses for 23 years) my previous Rx was too strong and my eyes weren't as bad as I thought-just needed an Rx that didn't make my eyes work so hard! Would not recommend vision works to anyone I needed glasses quickly due to an eye condition. Can here and was told only after they took my money that it would take a few days. Also told they do not bill insurance so had to pay out of pocket and have to bill my own insurance 8 days later called to inquire about glasses still not done wanted to complain because I can't go back to work without these glasses and was told to call the following week to speak with a manager. I will never recommend vision works to anyone and could have gone to the eye doctor I take my children to, not paid a dime and gotten the glasses just a fast read more

Less than an hour! Broke glasses the morning before work. Went to the Visionworks at the Belden Village Mall in Canton, OH. Picked out a pair of frames and ordered the lenses. To Whom iT May Concern: First, regardless of the resolution we agreed to, I will not withdraw my complaint with the Ohio Attorney General. The practices at the Canton, Ohio store shall never happened again. I have also wrote this review on google as well. In January of 2017, I had an eye exam with VisionWorks. I was unhappy with the selection and was being pushed into buying something the optician wanted to move and not best for me. I made my purchase at BJS. This is not the issue. On December 28, 2017 I began searching for new glasses(I usually do once a year). I wanted a completely rimless pair, I found one at Americas Best. I had the optician call the store for the prescription and the store said I never had an eye exam there. The Retail Consultant said they had no record of it, just a record of me buying a pair of glasses in 2013. Needing to move on this, I went over and spoke with Mary the Retail Supervisor and she told me the same the same thing. Had Mary seen my friends(President Jackson, Grant and Jefferson) she would have made damn sure she found that prescription if I were buying the glasses from her, but since it was her competitor, she was not going to be helpful. However, that prescription is mine, I paid for the services, Mary and the store associate(even though she lied and said she did not speak with Americas Best)is in violation of Ohio law. Please read Ohio Revised Code. 4725-7-06 Prescription release. An optometrist will provide the patient on completion of the examination and diagnosis a copy of the prescription for any vision correcting item, device or procedure unless there are significant medical reasons which would prohibit the immediate release. The medical conditions restricting any release of the prescription must be documented in the patient's records. There is in medical reason why this could not have been done. Either I will get that prescription or Americas Best or other retail establishment shall have it faxed at their request. The actions of the store are why Vision works is a dying company, it never was a serious challenger to Lenscrafters and has less market share than Target, Walmart or drug store chains. Think of this as me doing you in favor. I understand that with my prescription that Americas Best may not be able to create my glasses. I would be open to another pair of semi-rimless, but, I will NOT purchase from Vision Works. People who break the law must be dealt with. There are no misunderstandings, this is a deceptive practice that would never have occurred if I purchased from Visionworks. It is simple, you break the law, you get punished. Greg Soper read more

This facility could be running a scam. I called to make an appointment as a new patient. One of the first questions they asked was the name of my insurance provider. After giving them this information, I proceeded to make the appointment. Several days later when I arrived for my appointment, they asked for my insurance card so that they could make a copy. It was at this time that I was told that they did not take my insurance and that I would have to pay out-of-pocket. read more
