I procrastinated and waited to get them two days before I went on a long trip. I asked if there was any way I could get them the next day but they said it would take at least 4 days for the glasses to come in. The medication made the difference between possibly needing surgery for the underlying infection. In addition, Dr. Ulc gave me specific home treatments that helped expedite healing. Dr. Ulc not only spent an extensive amount of time with me during my initial visit, but also personally followed up with me to check on my progress. I highly recommend Dr. Ulc. What I didn't like about this office was how much they push sales. When I was getting fitted for glasses I just wanted to get what the insurance would completely pay for-which was one pair of frames on the rack. I didn't want any of the extra add-ons or insurance and even after saying no it was continuously repeated to me. I get that it's their job to sell but if I say I don't want it, I don't want it. I also had retinal imaging done while I was there and I was informed that it wasn't covered by the insurance, it was a $30 charge. I had it done and as I was sitting with the optician my break down of benefits that she had in front of her very clearly stated that retinal imaging was covered under my plan. They still charged me and said that they will bill my insurance for the procedure but it wasn't a covered service. I later spoke to my insurance and they did confirm that the break down of benefits was correct and that I shouldn't have been charged for the imaging. A few days after the appointment I called my insurance to make sure that the retinal imaging was billed, and the office left it off the claim. The office in turn lied when they said they would still bill my insurance. The office staff also gave me a problem when I asked for my pupillary distance and my frame measurements. I understand that they want the patients to order frames through their office, but in the event that I need to replace my glasses, I will not pay the hundreds of dollars when there are much more affordable ones online and a much wide seThe patient has every right to obtain their own information and the office can't withhold it for their own benefit.

Professionalism as well as Covid 19 adherence was magnificent…read more REVIEW DESCRIPTION My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Bonnanzio's for years. She continues to display the utmost professionalism, expertise, honesty, and if needed empathy. We always leave our visit knowing she has the best interest in the well being our vision. Additionally, the staff is and always has been fantastic. "Moddi" continues to be an expert in helping us pick out just the right glasses for our face frame... We were extremely apprehensive to attend our visit during Covid 19, as I am an OSHA Safety Trainer as well as an Educator in Infection Control Practices, I unconsciously watch to see if everyone is following guidelines. Needless to say, this office practice was spot on and received a 100. The door was locked and only patients who had an appointment were allowed to enter. The entire office was immaculate, seats and touch areas were immediately washed after use. Masks all worn properly, hands washed, touch surfaces such as countertops were washed, glasses that were tried on were sanitized, equipment washed in front of us prior to use. Thank you to Dr. Bonnanzio and her entire staff.

My last visit they were rude…read moreas usual and were telling crap about another patient until Dr Kline came out from the back to talk to a medical sales representative, at which point they were as pleasant as could be. Have an issue with billing and the woman who does the billing is just as rude. Every year we go we mysteriously have a credit owed us. She always claims it's the billing from corporate in some other state. He has always taken time to explain every aspect of your care. When I mentioned having a stoke since my last visit he really bore down with questions and tests to make sure that it did not impact my vision. I am not an expert but Dr Deluca seems to have the latest technology to assist in making a diagnosis. It is important to note that he uses the technology to assist in the diagnosis rather than to make the diagnosis. It is the time he spends evaluating the tests, in your presents, explaining the results for which I am particularly grateful. Dr Deluca recently split with his former partner. I think it says a lot that the entire staff elected to remain with Dr Deluca. I can't say enough about the staff. From the women at reception, the women that assist Dr Deluca, to the men and women that fit and adjust your glasses. They are all top notch. Caring, informative, and above all expert at their jobs I would also like to mention that Dr Deluca had to "fix" the two prescriptions I had prescribed by his former partner. Bottom line. We don't think we can get the same care anywhere. The office staff is as wonderful as the doctors! They are very professional as well as approachable. Any questions you might have during the exam will be answered. They are always very accommodating when we need an appointment and thankfully we've never needed emergency care but we do know other family members who have been in that situation and they were seen immediately. You can't find better eyecare!
