The staff in the back were wonderful and the doctor was great. But I'll never go back. Then today a co-worker called them to advise them of her 2nd ins after getting her exam and glasses there. The person who answered the phone rudely told her they are 2 separate things...didn't offer to file to get her coinsurance back for her...or send her a claim to file on her own even. I work in the dental field and if we treated our patients this way we'd never have any repeat patients. Do better!

I always call ahead to ask for pricing to be sure I can afford it before going. They let you know what's included and always explain what you're paying for. I do not have vision insurance but they always check my insurance on file just to be sure I'm not overlooking a benefit. They also accept CareCredit, which is a great help if you don't have the cash. I love the eye exam technology they use. When I first went, I was concerned about my eye health and this device allows them to get a deeper look into the physical health of the eye as a whole versus just diagnosing off of symptoms or assumptions. They are knowledgeable and quick to recommend a reference should you need one. My recent contact fitting at the Mandeville location was just as thorough and efficient as always. They always have the latest products. I received Acuvue Oasys Max dailies and they're amazing. Best contacts I've ever worn. My favorite thing is they never get complacent with my care. Every evaluation is taken into the utmost consideration for what is best for me at that time. The ONLY con I have to say about this company is that they tend to only offer higher end/luxury brand of glasses, at least that has always been the case at the Mandeville location. I wish they offered more of a range in respects to glasses frames, but I will say that the fitting for glasses, the manufacturing and shipping, and any aftercare concerning the glasses was impeccable. I had an incident with one of the arms of my glasses and they were helpful in assessing the damage and providing solutions that have allowed me to get the most use of my glasses. Also, they went over every step of pricing with me throughout the service so that I knew the entirety of what I would be paying. Overall, they're thorough and communicative and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for elevated eye care.

Ironically enough, I had come to this appointment from the working out at the gym. Guess I am not fit enough according to her standard. If she had asked me a single question about my situation, she would have known I also already do "talk therapy." I was telling my husband my experience as we were walking outside and I think the secretary overheard and sent the Dr. out. She came outside to ask if I had an issue with my experience and when I tried to tell her she told me to leave and offered no apology. I can say as a veteran, I have never had a worse experience at a medical office and would never recommend a fellow veteran go here and support this place. I will be submitting a formal complaint so the VA can reconsider using this facility moving forward.

The staff at the front desk and the clinic were very unprofessional, and the place wasn't clean. Even though I have insurance and the clinic is in my insurance network, they charged me the full fee as if I had no insurance. They told me they charge upfront, and if the insurance covers it, they'll refund the fee. This is the first clinic I've encountered with such a policy.

She is very thorough and provided a lot of insight on top of answering every question I had. She was very patient, warm, and friendly. She actually had a sample lenses for me to wear to make sure the prescription will be comfortable. It was quite fun to try on different frames. There were so many to consider! They have something for all budgets and face shapes. I have a wide face, and I was so grateful for a selection of more than just five to try on. I asked for recommendations, and they spent at least half an hour helping me find the right one. They had already looked up my insurance before my arrival, so it was great to already know what my insurance allowances were and follow a budget. I have received many compliments on my glasses. These really fit my face and the style I picked was from their recommendation. It's a fresh look! They put the glasses together in house after the lenses come in. Go to checkout and I'm told that my vision insurance is out of network, so I'll have to pay the full amount of the visit. That they stopped accepting my vision insurance. I asked why at no point was I informed of this and they couldn't give me an answer. I always check in network/out of network for new doctors. But I've previously gone here (and so has my son), so it didn't even cross my mind to make sure they still accepted our insurance. If they're in network for you, great! The docs are awesome! But you never know when you'll suddenly become out of network and not be told until after your exam. The office manager was helpful in providing me the information needed to file an out of network claim with my insurance. However, at no point did a receive an apology or a promise to better train her staff.
