MyEyeDr. DON'T GO THERE. - They got my bifocql script wrong and when I complained I couldn't see anything up close , they blamed the size of the frame which I bought elsewhere , nice time to tell me . I went there to treat myself to a new pair of glasses they were sickly sweet while I was purchasing and hostile afterwards . They agreed to see me about the problem , then tried to charge me for the visit, huh ? I said Im not paying for your mistake . The manager said you were told- , ah -no I was not I replied . he gave a secretary the meanest look when he asked - " Didn't you tell him?" I felt bad for her. I also believe they send their glasses out to low cost optical grinders. read more

This place is a disaster!!! I had my eye exam in January and decided to get sunglasses, reading glasses and anti glare glasses for driving. The sunglasses came back without the "mirror tint" and without the reader - obviously sent them back! The reading glasses were wrong strength and gave me a headache and the anti glare were no better than clear glass - sent them both back! In March, after going back and forth for months, I went to pick everything up and they were still ALL screwed up and the lens to adjust the reading glasses wasn't there! And this is after the manager called me the day before and said that everything was ready for pickup! Save yourself time, money and aggravation - don't go there!!!!! read more

UPPER CHICHESTER OFFICE, Dr Cherria Changel; I went in with issues my eyes were puckering up and very itchy. I couldn't tolerate the sun, it blinded me, even with sunglasses on. I told her I was diagnosed with Blepharitis. She examined me and said I did not have Blepharitis. Wednesday, I saw a Medical Doctor who diagnosed me with Blepharitis and told me it would never go away. I knew that. Why didn't Dr Changel? I have used the medication the MD gave me 2x's and I already feel better. I still can't tolerate light/sun but it certainly isn't as debilitating. Think twice if you get her as your doctor when you go there. I really should have read the reviews before I went there. Dr Ozer sure would be disappointed. read more

This place is a complete disaster, if you are trying to order glasses. I first came here December of 2022 to order safety glasses. A couple weeks later I was told to come back in and order another pair because those were no longer available. I asked them would this affect my insurance, they said no. I few weeks later I get my safety glasses but no side shields. Those took about 6 months to finally receive. Now, December 2023, I was told to come in the 30th to order safety glasses. I come in and after a half hour of their confusion, I was told I have to wait til January 20th. So, the year before they cancelled my claim and billed it again. So, I get penalized because they do not know how to bill the insurance company. They could not do an in store credit. This location seems completely inept at ordering safety glasses. They do not even know what safety glasses are available. They have issues not knowing how to bill the insurance company. I have no idea how this place functions. I have been getting glasses for 20 years and never had an issue until I moved and had to find a closer eye dr. I should just drive the hour to an eyeglass place that knows what they are doing. The customer service here is horrible. No one wants to help resolve the issues. read more

We have been patients for years. Paid almost 1100 dollars for two pair of glasses this year and it's been a very bad experience My husband's glasses took 3 weeks to come in when we were told 2 weeks. Got a call they were in. They were not. When questioned, were told that they were on back order. They had not notified us of that. His lenses scratched 2 days after he picked them up. After questioning and basically blaming him, they ordered new lenses. When he went to get them, the replacement lenses did not fit in the frames. (Was that the reason they were delayed?) This time they asked for his glasses, so he's now got to wear the wrong prescription for 2 weeks. This eye dr was a wonderful office until they switched to my eyedr. We are planning to switch to another eye dr for next year read more

Been going here for many years. Dr.Ozer office WAS a great place until MyEYEDR took over. It took 2 adjustments and frame broke within a month. Had to pay more money! Love the DR. but an awful experience and will not be back! read more

This is a mixed review. My husbands employer pays for his safety glasses but there is only certain Mr Eye Dr's that accept the payment from this employer so we are forced to go to 2 that are about a mile from each other. Let me tell you, what a difference a mile makes. WE used to frequent the one on White St. all the time however, in the past few years they became rude and we felt like we annoyed them by asking them to do their job so we switched to the My Eye Dr at the Town Center Mall about a mile away. They are night and day. Today my husband had the task of picking up both pairs of glasses. He was in and out of the one and Town Center Mall in 5 minutes was greeted promptly, with a smile, he was given his glasses, they made sure he was happy with the fit and they fit comfortably, off to the next. He was greeted by a receptionist that told him they were super busy but that he could have a seat and wait. Which he did since his RX changed he wanted to be able to see clearly at his job. 45 minutes later he was called back, had his safety glasses nearly thrown at him asked him to try them on which he did but then they went to help another patient so even if they didn't fit or needed work he was basically SOL. So he left. The front desk staff seems to have time to sit and gossip though. Maybe cross train them so they can help with the glasses. Wish we never had to go back to the one on White St but until they all take the plan for his work glasses we are stuck. So while we had 5+star service at Town Center Mall we had -5 star service on White St. read more

The only reason they get above 1 star is because the staff is very sweet and sociable. It's the corporation that sucks. Their automated system said that my glasses would be ready 1.5 weeks ago and all anyone will tell you is that they've been moved to priority status, which seems to mean nothing. Corporate seems to really pressure the staff into doing everything possible to up sell you so don't fall for it - get your digital prescription and buy elsewhere. If you can help it, avoid this company and go to your local eye doctor. Really sad to be leaving this review because the staff was so nice and caring Update: it took a full 3 weeks to receive the glasses. Still waiting on how they plan to "make this right" (their words, not mine). read more

I went to MyEyeDr on a recommendation of a friend. The young lady that waited on me was hacking and coughing the entire time, WITHOUT A MASK. She constantly tried to upsell everything and when finished she quoted me a price that was easily twice of the two prices I already had from her competitors for the same lenses. RUN! Since it was sold to My Eye Doctor, this place has gone downhill. Called at 8:30 am this morning due to an eye issue. Was told I would hear back from a nurse. 5 hours later I call and they said "we thought someone reached out to you, you need to be seen but we have nothing available". Waited 5 HOURS to tell me that! I could have been told that at 8:30 am when I called. Plus with it being an eye injury you would think they have emergency appointments available. I was then told "well if you want to go to urgent care you can if it's bothering you". I wouldn't be calling if it wasn't bothering me. So much for heath care or vision care these days. Will NOT be returning EVER AGAIN! read more

very expensive, staff pushes for upgrades scratch resistance, tinted lenses (goes dark when sun) frames are expensive, contacts are very expensive, tried to return unused contacts (note to self do not order a years supply in advance) prescription changed box holds all contacts so once its opened you cannot return them. staff is short handed office is not open on Saturdays Miss Dr Ozer's staff this is run like a business just trying to make a profit, miss the old Dr's service read more

My mother and I went in today to pickup my prescription sunglasses and prescription lenses, for my current glasses frame, and to our surprise only the sunglasses were available even though a receptionist called to let us know both items were ready for pickup previously. After this was made aware, my mother asked if someone could call the laboratory to see when they would be slotted to come in and their response was that only one person out of the whole staff could call and that she was too busy at the moment to do that with us in the building. Mind you that before My Eye Dr. bought this specific location it had been a well run family operation that my family has been coming to for over 50 years. Due to this fact, the 35 minute drive that we take once a year to go to the eye doctor hadn't been a problem because of the quality care taken by the previous owners. Overall, our experiences at this new run My Eye Dr. were disappointing and I can speak for my entire family when I say that after a couple instances like this, we will not be returning. So sad to see such a wonderful business be turned into just another chain location. read more

My daughter was seen here on 3/14- her 1st time seeing an eye doctor. She did need glasses, they were ordered that day and paid for- well after 41 days, still no glasses. Each time I called (4 times) I was told " a shipment came in but hasn't been opened, they may be in there" Finally a young lady told me that they were still at the lab. I called and asked to speak to the supervisor Freda- she was with someone but I was told she would call me back. She hasn't - I now just want my money back and I will go somewhere else. I saw Dr. Ozer for years - it is really sad that the practice he worked so hard to build is in the hands of such an incompetent company. Me and my Family are long term customers and patients here when it was owned by Dr Ozer. He has sold this practice to My Eye Doctor and this place is terrible now. Staff is terrible. Every single employee from when Dr Ozer owned this is gone. That should have been my first clue. I ordered a pair of glasses and paid a TON of money for them even with my excellent vision insurance paying a lot. These glasses would have been over $1,000.00 if not for insurance. I need these glasses badly and my prescription has changed dramatically since an eye surgery. For the last three days I have been calling and being told a large order has come in and it is unknown if my glasses are in that order. No one will go look for me and every day I goto work in the emergency services field without the glasses I need. No one cares here. I will NEVER come back here after I FINALLY get my expensive glasses from them. This is a completely different place from before and it's sad to see it fall like this. All these years and as soon as My Eye Doctor took over it was run into the ground in less than a year. read more

where to begin. i was welcomed in a friendly manner and I did not wait long at all. those were the positives. Now, the negatives. I went there two years ago and was told by one of their doctors I have cataracts and I was told to make an appointment with a cataract specialist chosen by the doctor. I decided not to go, because I spoke with a number of people and told them I'm barely having issues with my eyesight and they said there are different degrees of cataracts and it usually takes a while for it to be serious enough to warrant needing a specialist. I figured if it had gotten any worse, this time that I would get it taken care of immediately, but, quite the opposite happened. it was another doctor this time and at the end of the exam she said OK well I don't see any issues. Everything looks good. And I asked what about my Cataracts? And she proceeded to tell me i don't have cataracts. I asked why I was told by another doctor at this location that I had cataracts two years ago? So she said let me look again. Then she says, well, just baby cataracts. Baby cataracts? really? oh, and let me back up. A few minutes before this she tells me I can't legally drive without glasses. I was absolutely shocked and asked her how that could be possible when I have absolutely no trouble at all seeing without my glasses, when I drive. I explained I only need them for reading. She says, "let me take a look again". Oh, yes, you're right. The test in the hallway can be deceiving. No, you are fine". Wait, what? you just told me I can't legally drive without glasses and a minute later, you tell me you made a mistake. Holy cow! Now, I finish my visit with being escorted over to the lady who now wants to sell me prescription sunglasses. She tells me I might as well since my insurance is going to cover it. I say, okay...if you're sure they are going to cover it, then let's do it. We get the process started and she says, of course you will have to pay some out of pocket. She deceived me and they always pressure me to try and upsell everything. I am so over this place! read more
