Does excellent work at a fair price. We have been taking our cars and our kids cars there for years.

I had driven by Roux's Garage a few times after moving to the area about a year ago. I had not done…read morebusiness with them until I recently purchased 4 tires online at TireRack and found that Roux's was given their highest rating for the installation of tires. I had the tires shipped directly to Roux's and made an appointment to have the tires installed on a Friday. I dropped my car off late Thursday afternoon (4-ish). At 5, just as they were closing, they called to tell me that 3 of the 4 tires would be done and ready for Friday but that one of the wheels (rims) was very slightly bent and needed to be repaired. I approved them to send the wheel out and they explained that it would not be back until first thing Monday but that they would get the tires completed as quickly as possible. I went to Roux's early Monday with the expectation that I would sit and wait there. True to their word, the wheel was returned to them very early and they had the last tire mounted and balanced in very short order. Paul and all at Roux's could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I plan on taking my cars here now for anything that does not require direct manufacturer (warranty) service. They were personable, friendly, and efficient. I never felt I was being "sold" anything I did not ask for or need. The prices charged were fair and were as stated on the TireRack website. Note:1 this is a working garage without a customer waiting area. Though not a problem for me, you should realize that if you plan on waiting while your vehicle is serviced, you will be sitting in the front of the garage, on a folding chair likely watching the work in progress, with the vehicles just a couple feet away. Arranging to be picked up and dropped off might be appealing to most of their customers. Note 2: Roux's uses an advanced method called Road Force Balancing when mounting tires. This is a very precise process which actually simulates the pressure a tire feels against the road, when it is being installed on a rim / wheel. They are happy to explain and show you the process. This process takes a little more time but yields much better and longer lasting results.

Great service, great customer care and support, super helpful…read more. Recommend the garage to anyone

These guys rock…read more They were recommended to my wife by a coworker, and we decided to give them a try. I had a quote for work on my Subaru that came in at over $1400 from the dealer; MJ did the work for 900 and did it well. We have had them maintain my wife's 99 Explorer and my 02 Subaru for many years (Until the Explorer rusted out (at 1778,000 miles) and the Subaru got totaled in an accident (at 169,000 miles). Mike & Jimmy were always honest with us about what the vehicles needed, their prices were fair, and they kept the vehicles running in top shape for a good long time. When the Explorer was rusting out, Jimmy called me and told me that before he started doing the big scheduled maintenance I'd brought it in for, he wanted to let me know what else the truck would need. After hearing the list of what was wrong, I asked him what would need to be done to keep the truck running safely while we looked for a new car - he saved us a BUNCH that way, and he kept my wife safe (All he did was to fix the serpentine belt (that was ready to go) and a nearly rusted out brake line). One time I had to have my Subaru's front axles replaced. When I got it back, there was a vibration in the front end. They took the car back in and replaced them again - no charge. But it still vibrated. They took it in again and tried a different brand of replacement axles - and THAT solved the problem - they had been given bad parts by their vendor. BUT... they fixed the problem - at no charge - because these guys stand by their work. Now that I'm looking for a replacement car, and looking at used cars, I brought the cars I was looking at to them to have them checked out - they've kept me from making one bad mistake, they are helping me get out of another one (I DIDN'T have them check one out until after I'd bought it - and their repair quote is helping me invoke the Lemon Aid Law and return the junker) and the third vehicle they looked at, they found four things I'd missed... and the dealer is fixing them before I buy it. Sure, it cost me a few bucks to have them check it over... but it was worth it, and I wish I'd taken the second car to them first, too. My "new" car will be being maintained here at MJ, too - when you've found a great local shop, you stick with it. These guys are honest, competent mechanics and they do damned good work. If your mechanic doesn't seem to be able to get it right, or you're tired of paying dealer rates - give MJ a try. You will NOT be sorry.

They called and discussed the work they would do prior to starting anything. And when the work was done, the price was very fair. They also had some other work they would recommend but were not pushy about getting it done. Overall, very fair honest reliable mechanics.
