I honestly don't know how to describe how I felt after eating here. The sandwich wasn't bad...actually, they use high quality ingredients. The bread was good and it had plenty of meat, but for some reason, the flavor profile just fell short. It just didn't hit. I got a 5-inch pastrami and a soda, and it was almost $20. That's a bit high, even with great ingredients. The vibe is your typical Midwest-style sub shop. The staff wasn't exactly friendly, but they did the job. All in all, if you're in Arcadia and looking for a decent, quality sandwich, it's a safe bet. However for me, I probably will not go back.

10" Turkey Avocado Sandwich
Ann C.

Our friend recommended this place so we tried it out today. We got their 10" Turkey Avocado Sandwich and their 10" The Real Italian Sandwich. Both were really good but I think we preferred their turkey avocado one more. The flavor was light and bright. I think if we go back, next time we'll order online to avoid the wait time.

Superior sandwich shop with lots of different options. You can also make your own sandwich. They have lots of different ingredients and the sandwiches were packed with flavor. Definitely some of the best sandwiches I have had. The interior is large and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Custom Wrap

My Deli has great sandwiches! They're a little pricey, but two people could easily share one wrap or other sandwich, especially if you grabbed a bag of chips too. The store could've been cleaner. Something (the A/C?) was dripping onto the counter, and the bathroom was out of order. But the staff were great and I wasn't worried about the food quality at all. This deli has limited seating, though I think most customers take their orders to go. They do have a huge, shared parking lot! It's very easy to get to.

Custom Wrap, sourdough melt

This spot is in a plaza with lots of parking. There's limited indoor seating and some outdoor tables. There's some water dripping from the ceiling. The staff are really nice and helpful! I got a custom melt. The sandwich was definitely toasted! I got all green lettuce parts and no white crunchy pieces. The meal was a bit pricey but you do get lots to eat. I was quite full partway through. I'd say this would probably be a 3.5 star.

If in the area and have a craving for a sandwich I tend to place my order online so I can do a quick pick up. I've had a few occurrences when ordering in person where the wait is a bit long, so that's why I prefer ordering in advance. + good service + easy parking + great sandwiches + clean establishment

Customized ham sandwich
Josephine C.

On a Saturday morning in April, my sister and I ordered our sandwiches from their website. I ordered a custom sandwich of ham and pepper cheese on rosemary bread. Inside the husband and wife working together to make our sandwiches. We waited 15 minutes to get our sandwiches. The sandwich was heavy in weight. It taste really good because of the quality of ham. I got full just eating half of it. Next time I would like to try other sandwiches.

I should have read the reviews on the salads. I got the Asian chicken salad because I love wonton strips and sesame seeds and green onions and cilantro you know that's what makes that salad but what I got was a big box of iceberg blend lettuce with a sprinkle of shredded chicken in the corner and a mound of wonton strips nothing else. I went back because I was really upset and looking forward to it you know instead of paying $20 for a small box of salad I can get at the store for you know five bucks. I told her what was missing She said oh let me put what's supposed to be on there on there and when I get back to my car there is still no green onion sesame seeds and there was like one piece of cilantro that got thrown in there and some extra chicken so I went back in and I asked if they were out of the ingredients and they said we don't have green onions so we put red onion in there and there's some sesame seeds in the dressing. It used to be so good and have ingredients that made it flavorful. Now it's lettuce, chicken and dressing. That is more expensive then a sit down restaurant with a better salad.

Turkey avo is delicious

Turkey avocado on the rosemary bread is my favorite! Boar's Head meat is such good quality and once in a while I will make the voyage out to Arcadia to treat myself.

Delicious Ham and Cheese Sandwich!

After reading the positive reviews of #MyDeli, I decided to try it out. Instead of my normal pastrami sandwich, I decided to try their ham and cheese sandwich. The service was fast and friendly, and when I arrived at home, I was surprised how large the sandwich was. I had ordered the sandwich on squaw bread, and it was tasty, and the ham was fresh and delicious. I'm pleased that there is another deli in town, and hope to be returning soon! Bon appetit!

Ordered from here for the first and last time. The avocado toast came with no bacon. I called and asked if it was supposed to come with bacon being polite and honestly just wanting an apology really. The lady proceeded to tell me that it doesn't come with bacon even though it says it does in the menu description. When I pointed that out, only then did she apologize and offered to give me a piece of bacon if I came in. Wow, great customer service.

Half of the Hot Italian and Avocado Turkey in the back. Sharing is caring :)

Everything on it? Why yes of course. Michael rattled off the ingredients and I said yes to everything. Put it all in there. OK the lie part... Michael asked whether my sandwich was for here or to go, and I said to go. Gulp. And there goes the lie. Now, technically, I did take it out of the shop and into my car. But when you tell someone you want it to go, that means you're going to take it home and eat it. And I couldn't wait. I just couldn't. So there I was, parked in front of the shop, unwrapping this overstuffed beautiful sandwich because come on, do you really think I can drive all the way back to Pasadena smelling the warm pastrami grinder without reaching over and fumbling with it? Dear Lord, I'll get in an accident. And I have no intention of telling my claims adjuster that I rear-ended someone on the 210 because of a sandwich. Now in my own defense, I only ate part of one half, and then I went home and finished that half. The grinder is just too big to consume all at once so I wrapped up the second half and that's lunch tomorrow. For the price of one sandwich, you're actually getting two meals. You can't beat that. OK anyway, another great eating experience. They've expanded the hours and frankly Monrovia's loss is Duarte's gain. Michael said his father Andy still gets to the shop at the crack of dawn and makes the bread. The bread is nothing short of a gift from heaven. Everything in this shop says made with family love, and we get to benefit. Every time I come here I have East Coast grinder flashbacks. It's really that good. Congratulations on the new location, and I wish you many years of continued success. And sorry about the lie, but it's sort of your fault. Next time? Gene's Special.

It is good. It is the same price at the beef version but understandly so. The chicken meat was grilled tenderly, and the slice of ham it came with added the saltynesss the sandwich needed. Simple but effective. Also chilies adds great flavor too. You can ask for it on the side to adjust spiciness to your preference. Capicollo, one of the cold sandwich, was fine but nothing to write home about. Atlas or wings ($11.99/lb) here remind me of the ones I used to get when I was younger... I like how the spicy version is still deed fried and not saucy. (Personally prefer dry rubs.) The heat can creep up to u after a few. But not all wings are created equally, might end with with some tiny more battered ones along with regulars. There's already food that is fried and ready to go when you come up to the counter apparently there's a process that it's lost on me. The fries on the other hand felt like that they were sitting there a bit, and I love fries so these kinda were a meh for me. Especially, I love the cannoli, Italian sandwiches made fresh to order with sliced meats and cheeses, and the fun little ingredients sprinkled throughout the market. coming here as a kid, I used to love how they had straw on the ground. The big old hunk of cheese hanging from the ceiling. The smells, the sites, and the friendly faces I'd see, offering me treats. I feel like the best cannoli I've ever had is here. I've been all over for cannolis, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, etc. but no one really does it like they do it here! The ricotta is creamy with chocolate chips and candied fruit, and the edges are lined with nuts . Sprinkled with a perfect amount of powdered sugar, it's so delightful with the crunchy shell. My dad likes to order the sfogtitelle, pronounced soy uh della. Kind of funny spelling, huh? It's a pastry layered with semolina flour (aka pasta flour) and stuffed with a citrus cream custard. That's good here as well, they also sell it frozen so you can bake it at home. Always a must to grab a sandwich here. They cut the deli meat and cheese right in front of you. There's a wide selection of meats and cheeses to choose from. If you like more of the spicy stuff, I would suggest salami's like the hot Calabrese, hot soppresata, and chorizo. The Italian ham is good as well, mortadella and capacolo. I always also have Cajun turkey in the sandwich. Lots of good cheeses to choose from, Havarti is nice and creamy, provolone has a nice tangy taste, pepper Jack has a little kick, and Swiss a funny little taste. They let you sample the meats and cheeses so you can figure it out for yourself too haha. Always pay extra for the roasted red peppers in the sandwich, it's worth it trust me. me and my friends also love to get the deli meats and cheeses for a charcuterie boards. It's a good deal, cheaper than what you would pay in a market for incredibly fresh meat. They sometimes even give you an airtight container to keep it super fresh. Grocery shopping here for specialty items is great as well. In the freezer section, they have an incredible fresh pesto, but they also have a lot of canned sauces as well. The blood orange juice is nice. My family always gets the Italian sausages by the pound in the big old bag to make sausages with tomato sauce. I've been going here since I was a kid, and I'm happy to see it still thriving. There is truly no other place like this in the San Gabriel Valley, I wish I still lived close to here, but I guess it makes it even more special when I'm around.
