My husband and I changed our minds at least five times about the direction we wanted to go, but Jackson remained patient, professional, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. What impressed us most was his eye for color. Within 5-10 minutes of seeing the space, he confidently selected options that were absolutely perfect. He has a true talent for pulling everything together in a way that feels cohesive and beautiful. He was easy to work with, attentive to our needs, and made what could have been a stressful process feel effortless. We highly recommend Jackson to anyone looking for a designer with both skill and great instincts.

Our goal was to minimize demo and retain the basic layout. Jackson developed a design that encompassed new cabinets, countertops, fixtures, lighting, and mirrors as well as demo and rebuild of the shower and tub area, including shower wall tile, floor tile, and glass enclosure. His vision for the look, feel, and color scheme were spot on. He accompanied us as we shopped for cabinetry and fixtures, and brought samples of tiles and other items for in-home consultations. He made the decision-making process so easy for us - when we'd be debating between two or three options, he'd weigh in and he was always right! Jackson also guided us through a full rebuilt of our staircase. He found a wonderful contractor and helped us select the style and details. It has truly transformed the look of the house. He also helped us select LVP flooring for our entire upstairs and it looks beautiful. Jackson was great to work with - he is very friendly and patient and made the entire process comfortable and much less stressful than it would have otherwise been. We're looking forward to Jackson's help on our next project!

My realtor recommended Memar so we added them to the list. Matt came by the house to walk through with me and better understand the scope of my project. Unlike others that I met, he was not pushy or insisting that we do xyz. He truly listened to what I wanted and offered insight and suggestions to improve or enhance what I was initially thinking. You can tell that he and his team are very experienced and good at what they do. Matt and his calm, friendly demeanor sold me. That and visiting the show room in Mission Viejo sealed the deal. They have everything in house if you so choose (cabinets, flooring, tiles) or if you want to pick other options, they will make it work. They can even customize whatever you desire. Max was able to give me a bid within a week and was mindful of the fixed budget I had. Although not the lowest or near the lowest, it was competitive and comparable to the others. I think Memar's was the most upfront because they didn't have hidden budget breakers like expecting the client to buy and transport all of the materials from cabinets to vanities or even baseboards to the job site. Memar takes care of this and they take care of the client. They truly make it comprehensive and eliminate unecessary potential stressors for a house renovation. We are halfway into our timeline and things have been moving along smoothly. Our questions are answered almost immediately and the communication is open and clear. We are able to check in with ease and if something changes or needs a change as we move through each step, it's quickly brought to our attention and addressed. Will offer another update once our remodel is completed but if you're shopping around for a general contractor, be it for a small remodel or a whole home remodel (like me) or even to build your dream home, look no further. I'm so grateful for the positive experience thus far as I have never done any remodel and have learned a lot with Memar guiding me every step of the way.

We received quotes from four companies before we were with Memar and we were very happy with that…read moredecision. There is no doubt that they were the best for the job. They weren't the least expensive but their quality was perfect. There's no doubt they are professionals and don't cut corners. WHile we were redoing three bathrooms my mother in law redid one bathroom again after the contractor who did it before messed up the shower pan and caused a leak. It was past the warranty period and she went with a different company than Memar and ended up having issues. Made us even more confident we made a good decision to go with Memar. We finally got around to redoing the three bathrooms in our house that were still stuck in the 70's. Two of the bathrooms weren't too bad, although they were still completely gutted and everything was replaced. For the master, we completely changed the bathroom around and moved the shower to the other side of the room which was a major upgrade and undertaking. It entailed pulling new plumbing and really moving things around. We weren't able to find the vanities that we needed for various reasons so we had Memar get them custom made. It was not as expensive as we thought it would be and was in line with what you would find premade and great quality. It made it so much easier because we were going nuts trying to find a vanity the size we wanted and with the single hole for the faucet. Of course the project went long but it was really due to the city and permitting issues. Mission Viejo had just changed to an online system from paper and had problems. That part was frustrating since it took two and half months to get the permit. Part of the problem was also the major remodel in the master bath. One piece of advice for doing a remodel of any kind, don't buy anything until you really know when you will be needing it. I immediately ordered everything and then when the permit took so long it meant that when I needed to return some items later it was past the return window. Also, make sure you find out from the city what they require for fans, lights, fixtures, etc. There were several requirements that we hadn't planned for that were a pain and meant we had to adjust things.

Before we'd agreed to the work Peter gave me a rough timeline of "about a week", and thanks to his dedicated workers who showed up on time, every day my renovation was done in exactly a week. It was almost scary how fast the room changed from ripped out and water damaged to brand new and beautiful. I'm very pleased with the work done in my home. I'm very pleased with the time it took to finish the job. The main things I liked: Communication - Peter did not leave me hanging for a response and he sent me text updates on the work every single day, sometimes multiple times a day. I appreciated getting a few texts a day to let me know how the job was going and what to expect next. Workers - very consistent with their arrival times and the sheer amount of quality work they did every day was really impressive. Upon agreement, he sent me the contract using a online signature service making the entire process incredibly easy and efficient. His team showed up on time, and were professional, clean, and prepared all the areas to ensure full protection from the work to be performed. The project took 2 days, and at the end of the project, when we determined there was a slight mismatch in colors, he corrected the issue immediately, to complete the job on time and to our total satisfaction. While we used his service for a few repairs this time, we will be using him in the future for additional work on our home, as well as recommending his services to our neighbors.
