We stopped in seeing this place on Yelp and it's worth the time. It's tucked into a corner of a small shopping center but we found a seat and the service was quick. The food is excellent and we will be back. Breakfast is served till 11:30am.

I love Mya's, they're my go to spot on the weekend for lunch. Food is delicious, service is quick and friendly, price is affordable. They check all the boxes! My husband loves their spicy green salsa, especially because we didn't have to ask for it. Keep doing what you're Mya's! We'll be back!

This is a place we go to often on Sunday's for breakfast. My aunts and grandparents run the place. The food is pretty good and it doesn't take long to get to your table. Its usually busy on the weekends. The ambiance is not very noisy, you hear the kitchen more than the people. Its a really good place you should check out if you want a good breakfast in a flash. Some of my favorite items were the Bacon And Egg Platter, The Bean and Cheese Taco, and the Egg And Ham Taco

Our first visit to Mayas Tex Mex Cafe was for breakfast. I was surprised from the outside of how spacious the restaurant actually was. This is a home style traditional Mexican restaurant with an extensive menu that offers something for everyone at the table. My chorizo and egg tacos were just like a home cooked meal with large homemade tortillas stuffed with plenty of meat and sausage. Very generous portions and flavorful food. Our server was efficient and attentive. I will be back for sure, to try new dishes.

Out for a motorcycle ride, my husband and I decided to eat breakfast at Mya's. We used to live in this area about 9 years ago and it's been about that long since we have been back. Why did we stay away?!!?!! The food was awesome! My plate was eggs, barbacoa, beans & papas. My husband ordered the ham and eggs breakfast plate. FABULOUS!! My barbacoa was perfect and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Our total for two plates, coffee and iced tea was less than $20. This restaurant is a small family owned restaurant. All the staff are family and their pride in this establishment translates from the service to the food. Take a break from all the chain restaurants in Alamo Ranch and support a small, locally owned restaurant. You will be happy you did. #supportlocal

We loved the food, chips, and salsa. The hot sauce was absolutely "HOT". The Fajita Nachos were delicious.

I didn't need extra fat from avocado after the corn cakes since it doesn't add much flavor to the dish. The corn cakes are good and I will order again but not as good as some other cornbread. It came with 2 cakes. One was undercooked and one has a crispy crust. The undercooked one was my favorite. It is more moist with soft in the middle. Tuna Al Pastor has a kick but nothing special. Tres Leches was beautiful. 4/5. I like the fresh fruits to cut down the sweetness. The cake was a bit in the dense side. The icing on top was thick. I wish it was a fluffy whip cream to cut down from all the sweetness. Overall it's still a better tres leches than other places in the area.

Service is fast, place is decently clean for the foot traffic, the servers all look happy and eager to work. I ordered tortilla soup, I usually like it with a cup of rice and avocado like most places serve it. However, I definitely think this is a safe Mexican food restaurant when it comes to not overdoing it with spices and the extra stuff. My soup had a decent amount of chicken. I had a mimosa, loved that they used fresh orange juice. Flour tortillas were delicious! Before heading out you need to have the sweet bread!! So goooodd!

People say when in San Antonio, do like the San Antonian's. Nobody really says that. I mean, I just…read moredid, but I also just made it up. With that being said, let's make up a review. Except I'm not actually making the review up, I've been to the place. Both San Antonio and the restaurant moments away from being reviewed. I'm always down for solid Mexican food. It's always pretty damn good. I mean, at the pure base of things, it's basically the same few ingredients, just different vessels to get it to your mouth. I'm never bad about that. I love transportation. Mi Tierra was a pretty great looking place. Plenty of space, a nice outside waiting area, plus a bakery. I have never been to a place with a bakery that I didn't like. It seemed like a very authentic place, and that's coming from a resident of Michigan. A resident that eats Taco Bell. A resident who eats Taco Bell and think's THAT'S authentic Mexican. The first thing I noticed was that this place did not seem to serve burritos. Not a marker really for me, but it was something I've never came across before. I also thought that you were stuck ordering enchiladas or tacos in a meal type of setting. Upon further questioning, you can order a la cart. That was a relief. I ended up ordering the enchiladas Verdes because sometimes I ignore my color palate and go for green. And because I can't just stop eating one form of meat, cheese, and sauce, I ordered a taco. Actually, I just ordered a taco because I wanted a dryer enchilada. Or did I order the enchiladas because I wanted a wetter taco...I don't know anymore. Anywho, I ground beef, American style taco. Now, I've always been a big fan of chips and salsa. Some salsa hits, some miss. Some salsa is pureed and is basically red water. Some salsa is just a full tomato. I like my salsa like I like my orange juice. With extra calcium. Wait. Mild pulp. That's it. This salsa pretty much hit those notes. Had good flavor and a little spice left to linger. The main course came out and everything looked delicious. Green enchiladas looked exactly like I expected. However, it took me a moment to realize I was not looking at a burrito...but instead, my taco. It was served a peculiar way. wrapped, seam down, with a little bit of the meat on top, pico and lettuce on the outside, next to it. It was a burrito peacocking as a taco. I've never seem this display before, and I have been to many Taco Bell and non-Taco Bell restaurants. The taste was pretty good, though. All the taco flavor in a burrito jacket. The enchiladas were pretty decent, too. Everything tasted like it had all the ingredients and that they were in all the right spots. No doubt about it, I was full after e

Both my wife and I ordered breakfast plates--hers was the chorizo and egg and mine, huevos rancheros. The restaurant was empty besides one diner sitting outside with her dog and one family inside which should have been a red flag to stay away. My chorizo and potatoes were cold and my beans were not hot either. This was not like it had cooled down--cold. The ranchero sauce looked bad and all of the food on my plate had no flavor, no seasoning, literally no effort whatsoever. I had a bug crawl across my hand while we were there as well. She had the issue with her plate, food was not even warm. The tortillas were hot and tasted good so that was how I warmed up my food. Our waiter also decided that he would cross the street to go speak to a woman at the little outdoor patio restaurant across the street on the corner. Not kidding, he was there for at least five or ten minutes just talking to her. I have always wanted to try Tito's and wanted something new to us but I guarantee there is no way we will ever go back.
