I paid for her to do my wedding dress 7 months before my wedding. I never got the dress and I still haven't gotten my money back from her. It's almost a year later now and she has not paid me my money back. She kept telling me every week leading up to the wedding that the dress would be done but it never was. I had to buy another dress off the rack with money that I didn't have. I am not sure if any of her businesses are legitimate because I haven't found any record that her businesses are registered anywhere. She didn't even do something as simple as take measurements to make the dress before taking my payment. That should have been my first red flag that she had no intention of actually making me a dress. The experience with her stressed me out even more than I already was as a bride and forced me to spend more money than I budgeted, since I had to buy another dress. read more

I've been using Fatima for years any time I need something custom made because she's just that good! I've had her make curtains for me, pillows, shoe bags, headbands and custom neck pieces. Every time I wear one of her pieces, I get so many compliments and they all want to know where I got it. I'm the kind of person who likes to stand out and not have the same things that everyone else has. I like conversation pieces, both to wear and in my home. Abishai gives me just that. With Fatima's creative vision, she always comes up with the perfect look I'm going for, just after a quick conversation. And the quality is always top shelf! I went here for the first time recently to get a bridesmaid dress altered. This is my sixth time doing this so I thought I knew what to expect. I entered, with no appointment, and was seen immediately (yay). The business is in one of the office buildings in CP with no windows so be prepared. It's a little claustrophobic. Fatima was pleasant and made me feel comfortable. I put on my dress and the hemming prior to alterations began. I needed the straps to be shorter and the dress hemmed. This is when I started questioning my choice -- about 30 minutes into it (not exaggerating), I needed to sit down bc I was feeling faint. Fatima gave me water but said we were only halfway done! These fittings/whatever you want to call them usually take 15 min tops. I was very surprised. I drank my water, resumed my pose, and stood for about 15 more min. After that was done, I paid up front and it was $50 over the typical cost. I was shocked but paid anyway. The final product did turn out well but I personally don't think it was worth what I paid or time I spent there. 4.5/5 for end product and 3/5 for fitting process and cost. I might recommend this if you have the $$ but I felt as if I was a guinea pig for a newer business and that I was overcharged. read more
