Susan was great. She fit me in on a tight schedule (needed a suit altered in less than a week)…read more She was patient and thorough and actually had the suit ready a day earlier than promised! Her prices were reasonable. Unfortunately I didn't have time to try the suit on when I picked it up. My bad. The pants fit perfectly. However the lining of the jacket sleeves was not shortened as much as the sleeve and and bunched up. A little thing. All in all, a good experience.

I wouldn't take semi formal dresses here…read more I asked to get two dresses tailored, and they aren't replaceable since I didn't buy them at a big box brand. My requests weren't fulfilled for either dress as the collar still doesn't lay flat with one, (and the shoulders were taken up so much that the dress sits too high on my rib cage making it uncomfortable and causing the zipper to not close all the way) and the seamstress refused to do simple tailoring things I ended up having to do myself, like lowering a neckline on the other dress. In total, the cost was 55$ so not terrible of a price, but I'm still out 55$ now.

A very nice lady, probably quite able, but not up to doing a simple job…read more I took three shirts in; I needed the sleeves shortened. I have had this done before; I have even done it myself (not rocket science...). I own other shirts from this maker, in this size, and I know what needs to be done and about how much time it takes to do the job. First, I got an argument about how much to shorten the sleeves. That settled (I was wearing the same model shirt, with shortened sleeves, and it was easy to take a measurement...), I then was told, come back in a week. Not. First, someone needed a rush alteration on a wedding gown. Then there was this, then there was that. Several weeks later, two shirts were done -- but to the wrong length. One had been started -- I took it back and will finish the job myself. I ended up paying for the two that were done wrong, just to get out of there. I like the woman; she is a nice person, we share common interests, and I would be happy to have her as a neighbor. As a tailor, however, I cannot recommend her services.

She charged $60 per dress but it was well worth it. I wore the dress to my cousin's wedding in January and got so many compliments and it wasn't dragging on the floor!
