I must have given her too much business as her passive-aggressive language gave me the perception I was calling her too much. Nancy wants to run a stressless business at her own pace. Once again very happy with the services!! I had 5 different items to get altered. Three button up shirts, a dress, and a pant suit. I don't know why I've waited so long to write this review, but I MUST say that Nancy is perhaps one of the best tailors I've had in a v long time. Being in the navy I travel quite often and finding a new tailor to trust with everything is scary. Her work is nothing less then perfection, and I mean perfection. Always taking the extra step to ensure my clothing is flawless. I can take her any piece of clothing from work uniforms, overalls, to blazers and trousers. So v glad to of found her. Please do not support this business. I have two young children who I obviously have to bring with me everywhere I go. My apt was at 11 for a bridesmaids dress alteration. I put both of my children in a stroller and had them nicely positioned inside her room so they were out of the way. They were both nicely playing with toys in their stroller while Nancy was pinning my dress up. After about 10 minutes my one year old started to get fussy and cry. She could not see me and was in a strange place, of course she is going to be fussy. I tried to calm her down but it honestly wasn't working that well. At this point Nancy had two layers of my dress pinned up, all she had to do was the outermost layer. Instead of quickly trying to finish she stopped and told me she could not continue. Clearly annoyed she told me she could not concentrate with the noise. She left the room. I got dressed and pushed my stroller out of the room where she then tried to back pedal me and tell me that she could still do it that I just needed To come back at a different time. I told her I do Not have opportunities to come back where I am alone and without my kids and don't want to give her my business anymore anyway. She was clearly very annoyed at this point and rolled her eyes several times. She is NOT supportive to mothers. I understand it is her business and she can run it how she pleases but have a little compassion to a mom who is just trying to run her errands. I will never recommend her. read more

Had a zipper that went off track. Contacted Jenne's Leatherworks and went there on a Saturday morning to get it fixed. She was out at the post office. In a hurry to get them fixed and kinda let down, I noticed in the back of the same building housed a a door that read "Nany's Alterations". I stuck my head into the tiny shop and met Nancy. She was able to help me out for a third of the price I was quoted by her neighbor! Picked my shorts up Tuesday and they're perfect. read more
