I intended to leave my ATM card behind to minimize losses (I always try to do this). I accidentally brought it with me to the Hard Rock but kept it in the car. When they told me at Great Clips that they didn't take Discover at Great Clips, it wound up being a blessing in disguise (I have lots of those). While getting a haircut (very good at her job), the lady asked me what I had been up to. I tried twice to tell her, but both times she said, "Yeah, yeah, yeah," while I was in the middle of replying, so I stopped talking. It was an excellent haircut, though.

There are 17 stylists working in this location. The reason I chose Cathy was based on her profile - 45 years of experience in the industry. That is all I need to know. I booked her online and it was super easy. Hubby was very pleased with his cut. Cathy spent time talking with him before the cut. The conversation was pleasant and informative. In addition, he praised Cathy for her skill in using scissors which makes the hairstyle stylish. She charges 26 and up for the cut. What a bargain.

The lack of professional standards was even worse when I wanted to try on a lipstick. Instead of sanitizing the tester for me, the associate just handed me a bottle of alcohol and told me to go find my own tissues. I shouldn't have to perform my own professional sanitation in a beauty store. I was ready to buy, but the dismissive attitude and total disregard for basic hygiene protocols made me walk out empty-handed.... Looks like Ulta is turning into Sephora...
