I have been going to Salon Glo for over a year. My stylist is Renee and she is fantastic! I am one of those clients who changes their hair style and color. Lesser stylists can't cope, but not Renee. She's all in! I call her the "chemist" since she is spot-on with my changing hair color and highlights. Recently, I went from below shoulder length hair and blond with highlights, to chin-length hair and redhead! My hair looks fantastic, and I owe it to Renee's expertise. The salon owner, Dawn, is also wonderful and runs a great salon. Salon Glo is clean and beautifully decorated. There's plenty of parking as well. I just made my 3rd appt at Salon Glo with Janine. I am very happy with my hair color and experiences at Salon Glo. Janine weaves my hair so well (for the foils) that my platinum highlights blend great with my natural hair and she really gets the foils tight which affords me 2 months between appointments and I don't look all trashy with the grow out. She's a really nice person to spend a couple of hours with and she gets back to me really fast via email, which is how I schedule my appts. I definitely recommend her as a stylist. read more

The actual salon was beautiful, and the stylists were very nice during the entire experience. However, I came in on a Saturday to receive a waxing before my Bridal Makeup Trial with their wax artist, Elaine because my normal Wax Artist lives in Boca Rato, FL and I was just here for an appointment and some school priorities. During my waxing treatment the beginning went okay, but once we got to my chin she waxed it once and said the hair wasn't coming off and she got nervous. Instead of tweezing at that point, she waxed AGAIN, and the hair still didn't come off. You should never wax the same area twice, that's a rule. After that she tweezed only one side of my chin (kinda) leaving the other side completely full of the little peach fuzz I was trying to remove, so I had a half sort-of-waxed chin. Following the appointment I was told my hair was too thick for waxing (even though I have been getting it waxed for a number of years) and that I should get Electrolysis instead, my hair has never been too thick to be removed by wax, nor have I ever been left with bruises. I was left with burns on the right side of my chin, and a burn on my lip because she waxed my actual lip instead of the hair on top of it. She gave me a cream that was supposed to take the burn away, but after three hours it was still very much painful. So when I called back to express my concern, I was blamed because my thick hair was too powerful for her soft wax: I wasn't complaining about the hair not removing, but the burns and pain I had. I was told to come back and get the money I paid and some more cream, and her parting advice was not to get any waxing done before a makeup trial with anybody new and that it was my fault. I'm not a person to leave reviews, and I did get my money back for this visit, but now I have burns on my face with a wedding in one week and I just really hope it heals by then. read more

I'm a snowbird from Mi. I saw a woman who's haircut I liked. She had it done at Salon Glo. I have had my haircut twice by Renee and both times I love the way my hair was styled. She is very talented and is current with cutting techniques. I highly recommend Renee and the salon. Nice and friendly atmosphere. I will be back next year. It's so nice to find a great stylist. Have been looking for a good hair stylist since moving here 5 years ago. My experience has been stylists in this area are not well trained and are not able to do precision cuts. My search is over. Janine Riches should have folks liking up at the doors. She has significant training in precision razor cuts and continues on-going education to stay current with today's hair trends.
