Quality, cleanliness, friendly. Our family uses Julie (mom, son) and Kara (daughter) for our hair and we LOVE them. We have been customers for 5 or 6 years. Both do an excellent job with color and cuts. They have adventured with us to try new styles and help us get back to sanity when it is needed. They care, which makes them so good. read more

Do not go to Kara here for haircuts. She doesn't know what she's doing. I asked for a simple U shaped trim for my medium length hair and she told me that it isn't actually possible to cut hair like that which is crazy. I've had a hairstylist do that kind of curved perimeter cut on collarbone length hair. Also what about the countless YouTube tutorials and pictures of girls that have that. Just say you don't know how to do that if you don't know. She tried and failed bad. The two sides are also uneven. One is longer than the other and when I pointed it out she just said no. She made me feel like a crazy person asking for what I was but I talked with my previous stylist from my hometown and she explained what she should have done and how to ask the right questions to make sure the hairstylist actually knows what they are doing. Her technique alone was bad she didn't even make sure my hair was straight and smooth using a comb to trim. She didn't section vertically for the trim either and I ik I have thick enough hair that needs that. Every other hairstylist I've tried has done that. Bad experience all around and waste of money. Now my hair is messed up and getting it fixed would take too much off the length. read more

I can't say enough great things about Kara!!! From the moment you sit in her chair, you know you're in good hands. Kara really takes the time to listen to what you want and understand your hair goals, which makes all the difference. It's clear she cares about both the end result and the client experience. My hair has never looked or felt better--highly recommend going to Kara for your next appointment!! read more

Lovely salon with talented stylists! Kara listens to my needs and does a great job, every time.

I'm 99% sure this salon only has good ratings because they make sign paperwork assuring you won't leave a poor review in order to get your money back for services they 100% screw up. First of all a stylist fried my hair off, a friend of mine got a chemical haircut and scabs all over her head from bleach burns, my other close friend got her hair turned bright orange and s can't for the life of me understand how they are still in business other than trying to intimidate customers out of honest reviews. What a cover up! Do not trust this place for your color needs!! read more

Kara is amazing! Has done my hair twice now, fixing a not so great layered cut from a different salon and then another cut a few months later. My hair looks fantastic and I love the blowout and style she does! I'd come in just for that. She also waxes my eyebrows. I am super picky about my brow and she always makes them look perfect. Beautiful salon and great atmosphere! read more

I'm willing to give this place the benefit of the doubt that it was just an off day but I wouldn't feel right not sharing my experience. This was my first time. I booked a deluxe pedicure for 60 minutes. The lady started 30 minutes late and she rushed my pedicure. There wasn't anything deluxe about it. She even asked me to choose due to her cramped time which was more important, the massage or skin removal. What?!?! I get to the register after my 30 minute pedicure and they charge me for the deluxe!!!! I didn't have the strength to even argue. So disappointed.Oh and she got her long fingernail in my polish and didn't take the time to fix it. read more

A fabulous experience!! Both my wife and I had the please of working with John! He is an amazing professional and did such a great job, we joked with him that we would drive from NC just to get our cuts. These are great people read more

Total five star review to Kelly. New from out of town and she was absolutely fantastic. Very patient and paid attention to detail to my full and thick head of hair. Couldn't recommend Kelly and Salon Solei more! read more

I have missed Kailah and the entire Salon Solei team over the last several weeks. They are my hometown salon and I'm always popping in to ask random hair questions or pick out supplies so it's been difficult. My hair feels heavy and messy since being in Quaretine and I'm so excited they have reopened safely. Kailah always goes the extra mile to make sure I'm happy and she pushes me to be bolder with my hair. I remember one time I booked a hair and manicure and the manicurists called out so Kailah did my nails- not many would do that. read more

Kara is amazing. She does an amazing color or cut. Never disappoints. She now cuts my daughters hair too. Highly recommend!

I love Salon Solei! It's such an amazing salon experience. The salon itself is clean and bright. The decor is classy and really makes me feel fancy. I always talk to someone knowledgeable and courteous when I call or stop in to buy products. But my favorite part is my stylist - Kailah! She keeps my hair healthy, protected from the Florida sun/chlorine, and perfectly cut/colored. I have recommended several friends to her and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her or any of the stylists at Salon Solei. read more

I picked this salon based on others' reviews and was not disappointed. Cindy was my stylist and I was extremely pleased with the results. I wanted a new trendy style, beach waves, and Cindy gave me a great cut. When she styled it she explained and showed me how to achieve the look so that I could do it when I went home, along with recommendations on styling products. I have scheduled another appointment to go back and have some low-lights put in. read more

I had an awesome first time experience at Salon Solie. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Kailah matched my color perfectly and gave me a great cut paying attention to my natural curls. It was also a very relaxing atmosphere with no salon drama. All the stylists have been there for many years and treat each other with respect. I really enjoyed my first visit and look forward to my next. I loved that I could schedule several appointments in advance as well. I am so glad I found this Palm Harbor gem. read more

Wayyyyyyy overpriced... All I wanted was a simple cut with quick layers. Should have taken only 20-30 minutes. If you want color; it's double plus. Nice set up and building but woosh... Not for those who are tight on money... Yikes. read more

You can feel the positive energy the moment you step into this busy little family run salon. Most staffs are well experience stylists and they work with their customers. The girl worked on my hair was very careful because it was my first time there. She studied me and did her best and such attitude satisfied me. I will go back to her next time and try some thing new. My haircut was $ 40 including shampoo, hair cut and stylist. It worth the money because its services. I will suggest you check their website first. You can book appointment online. If you can, book morning time while they are less busy. read more

Booked last minute appointment for wedding updo and left with gorgeous hair. No trial run, and exactly what I asked for.

I wish I could give this hair salon a 10 star. I have been going here for a couple years now and within the last year in a half I have been seeing Kerry. Let me tell you she can work miracles. I also feel welcomed when I see her and she can make your dead ends sparkle by the time she is done with you. I highly recommend this salon. read more

I have been going to this salon for over 2 years. Everyone there has been great. Forgive my spelling but Kayla(hope that is right) is amazing. No matter where I go everyone asks me who does my hair. To me a good haircut means that even after 4-6 weeks it keeps its shape even if it is time for another one. Will not let anyone else touch my hair accept the girls at this salon. Especially Kayla. read more

I booked an appointment days in advance and was called the night before my 10 am appointment to tell me the stylist's schedule was double booked. I suppose the other appointment was more important than mine, so I was told to pick a different stylist or reschedule. The only reason I was given was a "glitch" in their online system, so ultimately it was on me to rearrange my schedule due to their error. I was hoping Salon Solei would offer a little more assistance in fitting me in somewhere with the stylist I scheduled with on the day I booked due to the error not being on my part, or at the bare minimum contacting me to alert me of this issue sooner than the night before the appointment, however that was not the case. I decided to cancel the appointment and book with Salon West, who luckily found an opening and got me in first thing in the morning. read more
