The part that upsets me the most is the unprofessional owner who did not want to make things right. They called him as he wasn't in the salon, he was very rude to me while I was crying and told me that if l didn't pay the $248 l would get the cops called on me. I said I would pay for the cost of the products but that was not good enough and was threatened with the cops again. I was at the salon for over 4 hours, why attempt something you can not do! I told the stylist if this wasn't possible we can do something else but yet it was still done, l knew something was wrong when I had a head full of foils balled up in my hair. The lines l have in my hair is horrible. Needless to say l will be wearing my hair up. I feel bad for the stylist that has to work for such a poor owner. Beware and stay away!! I will NEVER be going back not after the way l was treated. I did not get the hair color l Wanted, I'm out $248 and got threatened with the cops. Disgusting and unprofessional ownership!!

The salon came recommended by another curly haired curl I met back in February. I found Anna-Rose and watched her work on instagram. Took me 5 months to finally feel comfortable trusting someone new. I liked her work and her passion for her skill and work. I met with Anna-Rose on 7/8/2023 for a consultation. She was so friendly, down to earth, and real. She made me feel comfortable. We talked about my past hair cut bad experiences and what I wanted. I showed her some pictures and she showed me some. We figured out what I wanted and I booked for 7/15/2023. We talked again the day of about what I wanted and she got to work. She was gentle and talked me through what she was doing. I wanted a trim, a soft u-shape cut, with slight face framing pieces. She brought my curls and hair back to life. I was so happy with the process and end result! Thank you so much! The salon was also fantastic. The vibes inside were friendly and family like. Everyone was chatting, sipping coffee and water, and comfortable. Have not experienced this before and it was great! They also offer waxing and manicures and pedicures. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!

I can't believe I have to make a Yelp account for this but I really felt that I needed to share my…read moreexperience. I had been doing my own hair for months (coloring and cutting) and I thought I treat myself this time on my day off since I'd been working hard. I have called several salons (ones with amazing reviews) but they were booked solid seeing as it was a holiday weekend. I called up BTB and at the time I was so glad to find out they had an opening that day. So I got to the place and it was empty. I was greeted and seated by Ruby. She asked me what I wanted done and after telling her what I thought, she showed me some pictures of amazing ombres on Pinterest. After discussing it a bit, she started working on my hair. During the process, I asked about what she was doing and she casually mentioned that she was doing a "shortcut" for my ombre. Not what I wanted to hear and it made me nervous a little. But as someone who has 13 years of experience in the industry, I just assumed she knew what she was doing. After rinsing and applying the toner, she started to blow dry my hair and just as quickly realized that it didn't look right. So she asked me if I wanted to apply another toner, a darker one. I obviously agreed since I could see that my hair was looking a mess. I had been there for over 3 hours and at that point I really just wanted to get out of there except I can't leave with wet and messed up hair. After the second toner, I got my hair blow dried again. I can tell it was late since another lady decided to help dry my hair. She even said, "Well, it looks good once it's set and done." I was really over it by the end of the day and had somewhere to be since I did ask in the beginning if I would be done by 6pm. I was told that I should be done around that time. I don't know what the heck the final result is called but it is not ombre. I'm never one to not pay after a service (no matter how bad) even though looking back at it and after talking to others, I guess I shouldn't have. This mess cost me $270 dollars including two products (shampoo and conditioner). I've had terrible luck with salons and this is by far my worst one. I left with crazy looking "ombre" and hair too light with green tint. The hair pictures that she showed me in the beginning had beautiful gradient effect that transitions from dark to light. That's not what I got at all as you can see from the pictures. They have told me I had beautiful hair, well...thanks for ruining it. Never going back here again.
