Over the course of my visits, I was charged different prices for what seemed to be the same service. On my most recent visit, the price nearly doubled, without any explanation. For that same appointment, I called to add a haircut and was informed that I would be seeing a different stylist. While I understood the change, the service I received was very different from what I had consistently been getting, and I'm not happy with how my hair turned out. I reached out to the owner three times afterward to discuss my concerns, hoping for some clarity or resolution, but I never received a callback. As a repeat client, I would have appreciated more transparency around pricing and better communication overall.

Natalie charges for her consultations, which I did not have a problem with. I assumed that since she was charging for her time, I could count on being her priority at the moment. I was mistaken. She did not book me for the time that she said; she had a consultation right after mine and completely forgot about me and booked that person for my time. I had pre booked my appointment with her; I got in early so that I would be able to have the time I needed on the day that I could be off. I took the whole day of the appointment off. Instead of canceling her other client that she double booked, she chose to honor that appointment over mine. Since she had basically ignored me and not done what she said she would during the consultation, I asked for my money back. Natalie did not take that well and instead of trying to fix things, became totally unprofessional. I left Natalie a bad review on her booking site due to her unprofessional behavior. That was also not taken well. I figured, if I couldn't get my money back I could at least warn others of her negligence. I know this method isn't for everyone, but I usually approach hair appointments with the mentality of "you're the professional and I trust you to work your magic." I usually don't provide many specific directions to my stylists besides a color/ look I'm going for and then I let them do their thing. My hair is big, thick, and curly and has been through it all (blonde, ombré, balayage, etc.) Natalie was not intimidated by my curls like many stylists I've tried in the past and she was able to not only meet, but most importantly exceed any expectations I had for my color. I love the fact that she runs specials periodically and her prices are affordable within my medical student budget! If you're on the hunt for a colorist, you would be selling yourself short by not stopping into Bleached Salon and asking for Natalie.

At minimum, acknowledge me and say "I'm running late" or whatever. BTW... I heard you tell the old rich lady in the pink and white who showed up after me "I scheduled you because I didn't think she'd show up". Then you took her back to attend her. Why not just tell me about a conflict? So unprofessional!! People, unless you enjoy being treated like this, do not patronize this place. They do not deserve your business.
