This was causing it to feel very humid under the house and we had mold visibly growing on our floor joists. I had several big name companies come out to give me their thoughts on what the proper solution was and estimates to perform the work to resolve the issues. I ended up using Itay and Surfacing and Waterproofing. He was very attentive to my concerns and to me came up with the best solution at a price that was very competitive. We ended up doing 3 things to resolve our issues. 1) We had a new pipe installed next to our footer, with the wall tarred all the way down and also with a plastic membrane on top of that and another layer of protection on top of the plastic membrane. 2) We had the crawl space encapsulated. 3) We had our downspouts run underground and now they empty out at the very end of our property. Itay and his team did a wonderful job. They were there everyday on time and worked very hard all day long, sometimes into the early evening. I am very happy that I chose Itay and his team and feel very confident in the work that was done as well as the fact that he would be out to resolve any issues should I have any, which I doubt very seriously I will. The encapsulation is extremely well done, the downspouts look awesome, and the new pipe next to the footer looks great as well. I watched their work all the way through the job and could see that they were doing things as we had discussed and what certainly made sense to resolve our problem.
