I arrived at three stars due to location and cost. This little restaurant is located inside the hotel plaza so it's convenient. We drank a lot last night and couldn't drive so we ordered from My Place. We got 2 small pizzas. Steak and cheese sub, a meatball sub and MD crab soup. It was all just $37. It was ok since we were still so drunk. (LOL). Otherwise, don't do it. It's great for your kids and price friendly. There's ice cream and Gelato in My Place along with some other items. 3 stars for cost and convenience. read more

The sraff was very friendly. If you like a thin crust pizza that doesn't taste of crunch like a cracker that has lots of toppings on it. That's where you'd like to get a pizza they have excellent jelly sandwiches. They're very thick and they very good and cost very portion and their cost is very reasonable. read more

This is great local place. I have been coming here for over 35 years. Great friendly service and good place to grab some food while at the beach. Also great ice cream for the evening time. It's a throwback to different time and it's totally worth it. read more

Although it is highly convenient, the sandwiches are terrible. During our 2009 Vacation at the Sea Watch we chanced a quick lunch there. The Roast beef tasted kinda funny and the Italian Combo had my wife right in the bathroom. The "SubRolls" were basically over grown Hotdog Rolls. That being stated they had some nice desserts and ice cream choices for those hot summer days, an it was nice to have an in the Condo Choice for these things. Hence the 2 Stars but stay clear of the lunch fair. read more

We own a condo in the building and thoroughly enjoy eating at My Place. The staff are extremely friendly and the food was fresh. Don't expect fine dining, it is a sandwich, pizza, and icecream shop at the beach. I highly recommend the brownies although the subs and pizza were good, too. Seating is limited so if you have more than 4 in your party you may want to eat in the courtyard or carry-out to the beach. read more

I have the opposite experience. I own a place in the building where My Place is located and we have been getting food there for over sixteen years and love it! In fact I got a shrimp salad sub yesterday for dinner and had the other half for lunch today. It was delicious! I can't say that I have ever gotten anything from My Place that wasn't excellent! Their bagel pizzas are to die for too! Sorry Tom B., you must have just had a bad day! Being lactose intolerant... I skip the ice cream desserts. Of course, that is no reflection on My Place. read more

Not the greatest quality of food but the business makes up for it in other departments. If your staying at the seawatch its super convenient and are open to a fairly decent hour. 9-10ish? If you want a quick bite and dont feel like dealing with traffic and hordes of people, go here. read more

My family and I have been coming to the Sea Watch for over 10 years. We spend at least two weeks here in the summer. We have always frequented My Place. It is under new ownership. We were in with our children. The woman working there, who I think was the owner's wife, was rude and nasty. Instead of replacing a scoop of ice cream for my young son, who disliked the flavor she told him it was fine and she eats it everyday. So what! he didn't like it. So the 12 cents it cost her to replace the scoop was worth loosing 5 customers????!!!! Not a good way to keep customers. Sad, people don't care about customer service anymore. read more

There is outside dining but I booked inside as we weren't sure how warm it would be in May. It turned out to be a cold and windy weekend so we were very glad to be inside, plus the outside tables have a view of the highway. What a cute little restaurant inside; it is very tiny. We were crammed into a table in the corner. It was difficult to get past the other diners at their tables, and we could hear all the conversations around us. Every table was packed, I can't imagine what it's like in this room during the busy summer. Noelle was our server and she was amazing; very knowledgeable and friendly. She described the homemade bread service to us, and we ordered 2 Coastalpolitans which were made with Tito's Vodka, lime, soju, St. Germaine, and cranberry. They were sweet, and tart, and bright, and delicious. We decided on crab toast instead of the bread, and Noelle said we made the right choice. Wow, she was correct. The crab toast blew us away. It was chunks of crab on fluffy, crispy milk bread with pickled scallions, radish, lemon aioli, kelp powder, and lime. So beautiful and so delectable! RJ ordered the Pork Chop, which Noelle said One Coastal is known for, and I ordered the NJ Day Boat Scallops. We had no words. We sat there and quietly enjoyed every bite while listening to the surrounding tables, and knew we found a maybe not so hidden gem. My scallops were delicate and buttery and sweet, and melted in my mouth. RJ said his pork chop was tender and juicy, and the best he ever had. That is saying something. We finished with bread pudding because who doesn't love a good bread pudding, and we like to try it whenever we see one that looks interesting. It was salty and sweet and just so perfect. What One Coastal lacks in space and view, it makes up for with food and service. What a delightful place, and Noelle was a pleasure and a joy.
