I took both of my girls in for a wellness checkup. Two black labs who were very hyper and excited to be there. They had been there several times before for doggy daycare and boarding. This visit was for the vet to examine and update vaccines. You could tell they love dogs and very patient with them wanting to play. If you are a pet owner, please do not take your pets to My Pet Wellness, they are the ONLY vet that still bill you for your pets wellness plan even after they are the organization that euthanatized your pet. That is just deplorable and inhumane. Bad enough your pet is gone, they did the euthanasia but you still need to send them something in writing to cancel a damn plan that we did not use. We still paid another vet to administer our dog her shots when they were suppose to under the plan. Even the contract says it terminates after your pet dies. Please make it make sense. They don't care about your pets, they just want money. Our dog would still be with us had we not had her there. They never suggested bloodwork and their financial department has been trash since updating their systems. They are do not listen. #4UAnna read more

I Had a bad experience dealing with this business, I took my pet for a dental cleaning, but instead they made a surgical procedure to my pet without my authorization or consent. and wanted to charge me an arm and a leg. The doctor was very unprofessional, they never returned my calls when I was disputing the charges, even though they admitted making a mistake. I ended up paying a partial amount. And even though I canceled the plan for both of my pets I was recently charged again for one of my pets, so I had to call again for a refund. Can't recommend this place. read more

My second time boarding with them. First time I had some grooming and a nail trim. He was brought to me with a wound on his paw the exploded in my vehicle. Ok sometimes things happen. Second time he was brought out missing chunks of hair and several wounds on his back and neck where it seems that other dogs we're trying to tear him apart. Im not one to write bad reviews, but when innocent creatures are at stake so be it! If you care about your pet please do NOT take them here!! AND absolutely DO NOT go here for surgery. It was a complete joke, at my initial appointment I was quoted 1,000 to 1,500 for a tooth extraction. The scheduler kept saying 1500 was high end absolutely no more than that. I scheduled the appointment for almost a month out(first they had)! The first red flag was when I called them to tell them the pain pills they prescribed my dog make her profusely puke. They never gave her something else Mind you she has a broken tooth with an expose root/pulp. She couldn't eat anything solid for almost a month. Then when we get to her surgery finally and I'm signing intake paperwork and looking over her estimate it says 2600 dollars... without them even looking at my dog between the two appointments!??? So I'm taken back understandably, I asked about the price and they told me it probably won't be that much. But when I asked why and they couldn't give me an answer they just gave me my dog back. We left and obviously I called later that day looking for some much needed answers. I got through to corporate and all they did was refund me for my surgery deposit. No other services they "rendered". The only service they provided were lies and misinformation. I know no other word for this company other than a SCAM. My Pet Wellness made my my innocent dog wait in pain for a month for surgery they only had planned to double in price without any type of reasoning or explanation! I missed at day of work for this surgery, they do NOT care about you or your pet's wellness. I needed up taking her to another vet they told she was in so much pain they put her on the equivalent of would be considered doggy morphine. My poor baby! I can't get over how sinister this whole company is through and though. ! read more

I have boarded my two dogs here at least 6 times in the past year and have been very happy with everything. The first contact many of us have with a business is on the phone and they do a great job there, courteous, friendly and professional. Drop off is quick and easy. There is plenty of outdoor play time and socialization for your dogs should you so desire and they post multiple photos of the dogs playing every day. Pick up is painless as well and I don't think I've ever had to wait more than a couple of minutes to check out. Dogtona gets a pat on the head from me. read more

Such bad-bad-bad service! Never mind we waited almost half an hour on the initial visit just to get the payment taken care of....that was a warning. The initial visit was for an estimate on canine dental cleaning. The cleaning was schedule for one month of the initial appointment. I received follow-up calls related to medical records and blood tests from previous vets but was never advised what time to be at the clinic for the dental surgery. The day before the appointment, after still not receiving any info regarding the surgery, I called several times asking what time we needed to be there. On one of the calls we were even advised to be there at 7:30am but due to our dog being diabetic they would consult with the vet and call back. It was not until 4pm when I called again that I was advised their dental cleaning machine was broken for over a week and we needed to reschedule!!! The dental cleaning was crucial as our dog is going blind and is having eye surgery which has to be at least 14 days after dental cleaning. This clinic had no options for us....no timeline as to when to reschedule....,.no options as to other vets...even after I explained if we waited any longer our dog would go completely blind and eye surgery would not be possible. The manager would not take our call...they did not care about our predicament/our dog going blind. If this happens on such a crucial issue without any concern, it is obvious this vet clinic does not care whatsoever for any pet issue. With so many vets in the area....try one of those and not this one. Their rates are no lower than any other local vet. (.....we recently moved to the area from 2 hours away, this is why we ended up at My Pet Wellness clinic) read more

I called ahead to book our 4 furbabies at this location for the Daytona 500. I asked the lady if it would be an issue giving medications @9pm and another @9am the following day, she said that could be arranged. Ok. Great. We get down here and talk about the medication that one of our furbabies needs for seizures, must have every 12 hours, and they said they leave @5pm and would have to give him the medications at that time!! Not what I was told over the phone, if we knew this we would have never booked here. It had me really concerned. Upon pickup, 2 1/2 days later, our furbabies were very thirsty. I counted my furbabies medication and we was missing 2 pills. I called and asked if they gave him whole pills instead of breaking them up, she said they gave them halves. Thats impossible cause we would have been 1/2 pill over for the night dose to be given cause we picked them up in the evening and they said they did not give him his night dose yet. I dont trust this place- I would look around for another boarding facilty. read more

Our usual sitter was unavailable so we used Dogtona as a backup. They were fantastic! We have 2 Golden Retrievers and the guys at Dogtona were wonderful with both dogs. They had a nice air conditioned room to stay in together and were brought out nearly every hour to play in the very large yard. They even got to swim in the pond they have. There is a ball pit (!) for them to play in indoors and the people who work there clearly love animals. We also opted for the grooming for one of our Goldens and it was the BEST grooming he's had in 8 years. He looks amazing!! I'd recommend Dogtona for anyone needing a great, safe and friendly place to keep your pets while you're away. read more

Our dogs were treated terrible at this facility. Not groomed the way we requested (chopped off too much hair on one of our dogs, the other was supposed to have a bath and when we picked her up she was filthy and stunk.) We were told pictures would be posted every afternoon on social media and they were not. I contacted facility and didn't get a response. We have been waiting for a return phone call all week and have had none. There was no customer service and the staff lies. Never again. read more

I have used Dogtona for my large dog three times and have been very satisfied. The staff is nice, the place is clean all around and there's a decent size space for the dogs to play and run. Charlie was well cared for and showed no hesitation going back after picking him up for a couple of hours spent at the dog beach. The staff were fantastic and knew his name and posted pictures and even let me know who Charlie made friends with, "Buddy". I truly recommend Dogtona, we will be bark..I mean back..lol. read more

I recently moved to daytona beach and had to leave town. I didn't know where to take my two dogs and went to Dogtona pet resort. They offered a trail day care for my dogs to see how they liked it. My dogs loved it. My dogs have since been boarded twice and they love being boarded at Dogtona. I see pictures daily via Facebook and my dogs look so happy. Through the pictures on Facebook you can see that your dogs are happy and well taken care of. When I pick up my dogs, they want to stay and play. This is the best dog resort my dogs have experienced. I feel 100% comfortable leaving my dogs in their care. I HIGHLY recommend taking your dogs to Dogtona the next time you have to board them. read more

I boarded my 2 large dogs here for 5 days over Thanksgiving week. My dogs came home clean, happy & exhausted! I popped into Dogtona a week before our reservations to take a look around, and Linda the owner was gracious and showed us around and explained everything to us, her place is SPOTLESS, no dog odor anywhere to be found! Her prices are extremely reasonable! I live in Miami and was traveling north so it worked for me, I will use Dogtona Beach Pet Resort again regardless where I am traveling to, they are worth the trip to know my fur babies are well taken care.
